@Lottiepink @daisiesandpeonies good idea. I might just try and wait out until the last one showed up. I am getting cramps, which I did the last time for two weeks. I don't want to spend on tests for no reason!

daisiesandpeonies · 03/04/2019 23:43

@smitch82 try to wait it out. I find getting af less crushing than seeing a negative test, gave myself a 2 weeks late rule since the autumn and haven't wasted any tests since!

daisiesandpeonies · 03/04/2019 23:40

@FlapJackered I'll let you all know how it goes and review the clinic etc for anyone else considering🤞🏼
I've just bought evening primrose to add to all of the other things I'm taking (Vitex berry, soy, pregnacare) DH is not amused at the Amazon bill...

Lottiepink · 03/04/2019 23:14

@smitch82 try and wait it out to avoid disappointment if you're usually late.. easy to say that tho... nothing worse 😫😫

smitch82 · 03/04/2019 22:16

AF due on Friday. I just know it is going to be another late one... if I am sure it is going to be late is it a waste of a test if I check on Saturday if nothing has arrived? Or shall I wait it out for a bit?

Lottiepink · 03/04/2019 21:34

Sorry to anyone that got af that I missed 😫

@SunStruck Seen the pic 👀 I could defo see it 👌 amazing, fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@cupcakesandglitter I feel the exact same 😢😢😢

FlapJackered · 03/04/2019 21:19

@cupcakesandglitter *sorry! Sorry!

FlapJackered · 03/04/2019 21:09

@Fivebyfive2 thanks lovely. I get the same worries about it happening again, I think it's natural and I think we will be much more cautious when we get out bfps again. However stats are in our favour, we are much less likely to have another miscarriage. Only 1% of women suffer recurrent miscarriages.

@daisiesandpeonies sorry to hear you're at the year mark, welcome to the club! I may go for some private tests in a few months so I will come and find your thread when I start.

@cupcakesandglitter So to hear you have joined us on the new cycle. I am going to focus on exercise this month too.

@KatBeCool I am going with Soy Isoflavones, evening primrose oil, progesterone cream and exercise...oh and lots of sex! Hitting it at all angles! 😂
How are you? Any signs or symptoms?

AysLon · 03/04/2019 20:14

@SSC92 Welcome!! This thread is a welcome relief from all the stress that TTC can bring. I know ok for one am so grateful this is here because no1 else would put up with my questions and worries LOL. I am CD18 still flashing smiley face on the CBOPK so playing the waiting game as well! Been spacing out DTD every other day or every 3 days so far but no LH surge yet so I guess doesn't really matter what's gone before !!

SSC92 · 03/04/2019 19:27

Hello all,

Very very new to all this! First cycle, DPO 5 and so excited / nervous that I have been perusing forums!

Good luck to everyone! Smile

Fivebyfive2 · 03/04/2019 19:09

@flapjackered, sorry af arrived and hope the pain doesn't last long xxx

Feeling like time is properly dragging until my af is due and keep thinking it may not even show on time! Got myself all upset last night because I'm inpatient to try again but also, have had some thoughts creeping I like 'it's just going to wrong again' and the like... Need some distractions I think!! Thankfully my bro and his gf have started wedding planning so I'm helping with that 🙂

rose555 · 03/04/2019 17:56

Thank you all for your wisdom... and talking some sense into me! I will be patient. My DH is away with work tonight which could definitely have ended up with me secretly POAS.... But out of the blue my best friend has just asked to come round for a glass of wine tonight and an escape from her home... she has a beautiful 8 month old boy but must be finding it tough this week. I am taking this as a sign from the universe telling me to chill out! 😅 Sorry to those who have had AF come to stay - she is never a welcome visitor!

daisiesandpeonies · 03/04/2019 17:30

Although I haven't posted much in recent months I do appreciate this thread and seeing how people are getting along. Am planning on sticking around (if that's OK!)
I'm going to start a new thread about fertility testing if anyone else is starting on that journey - or are there any other threads out there you'd recommend?
AF is on her way taking me to cycle 11 and the end of my last cycle of the TTC year (I have long cycles so only 11 a year.) I have booked fertility tests with a private clinic for late May, soonest they had!

daisiesandpeonies · 03/04/2019 17:24

Congratulations @PinkFizz19 and the other bFPS!

SunStruck · 03/04/2019 16:56

Thanks @starkid, still very early days 😅

starkid · 03/04/2019 16:00

Sorry about AF arriving for you all today/yesterday xx

cupcakesandglitter · 03/04/2019 15:48

@starkid cycle 11 for me 😦 I won't let myself get to a year without losing the weight and doing everything I can 😭

cupcakesandglitter · 03/04/2019 15:47

@Jessikka @FlapJackered sorry about AF ❤️mine has pretty much arrived so looks like we're all cycle buddies... I'm gonna have a month focusing on losing weight and feeling better in myself this month xx

smitch82 · 03/04/2019 15:12

@Jessikka exactly everyone is different and you should do what you want to do as there is enough stress with TTC as it is!

Jessikka · 03/04/2019 15:06

I second what the others have said; personally I feel 7dpo is too soon @rose555

But each to their own 😊 no one is going to slap your wrist if you do ... well... hopefully 🤔

smitch82 · 03/04/2019 14:48

@rose555 just enjoy the wine as you won't know. Testing so early can throw up false negatives as they aren't very reliable only around 85% correct on early ones. Although do what you feel is right!

I am due AF Friday/Saturday but not testing until she doesn't show up. That's just me though...

thosethreewords · 03/04/2019 13:40

@rose555 I wouldn't test yet tbh as it would be a waste. Implantation is roughly around 7DPO and then your body needs time to produce enough HCG to show on your test. Friday at the earliest but you could just wait until next week and enjoy a glass of wine anyway!

SunStruck · 03/04/2019 12:40

@rose555 good luck!!! :) my lines were so faint this morning 8DPO that I doubt I would have seen anything 7DPO! I also think Friday morning is a good day to test!

AysLon · 03/04/2019 12:13

@rose555 omg it's so horrible waiting, at least only 2 more days till Friday. Try to keep busy today, I would also hold off testing till day 9DPO at least. What can you do?! Nothing and it's annoying lol
