@thosethreewords FF doesn't like it even if there's only a half an hour difference.

thosethreewords · 06/04/2019 13:31

I've been so off with my temperatures this month and not taking them at consistent times. They vary from 5:30am-7:30 am and I also think I'm mouth breathing? I keep waking with a dry mouth!
My last cycle that I temped was so beautiful 😂 I think next time I'm going to have to set an alarm to do it early every day like I did last time.

cupcakesandglitter · 06/04/2019 12:57

@KatBeCool I'm feeling much much better today thanks. Have a feeling the majority of AF is over soon, can't wait 😂 hopefully in a couple of days you'll get your BFP, it all sounds promising so far x

@thosethreewords thats amazing!!! X

MotherOfShihTzus · 06/04/2019 12:40

@thosethreewords omg this pic journey is utterly incredible!!!

smitch82 · 06/04/2019 11:16

I caved and did a test this AM as I was due AF yesterday and no sign of her.

I tried to use the digital CB but I got scared of the 5 secs only and don't go on the stick scary user manual. So I decided to stick it in the cup for 20 sec. followed to the letter but was told there was too little or too much ironed so can't get results!

Have to wait till tomorrow now 😂 honestly I was so paranoid I messed it up! Should have gone for the less expensive none digital one!

KatBeCool · 06/04/2019 10:51

@cupcakesandglitter missed your post somehow yesterday but, ironically, I stumbled upon a link on another forum during a search to that website, it said to test on Monday. My temps lowered a bit, only by about 0.1 degree, for the past three days but still well above the cover line.
Are you feeling better today?

@FlapJackered how are you doing?

AysLon · 06/04/2019 09:34

@Bacchant LOL typo, not Backhand Grin

AysLon · 06/04/2019 09:33

@Backhand Welcome! It's much more complicated than I had ever thought. I'm on CD21 now of 2nd month TTC. I am 31. Came off pill October. Still no peak O face on the CBOPK so God knows if I'm even Oing this month. It's expensive! Next cycle I'm going to use the cheaper OPK strips. CBOPK is good but the test and sticks cost a lot. But they are great if you are not regular or consistent.

Bacchant · 06/04/2019 09:09

Hi Everyone!

I’m new here and wanted to join!

I’m 30 TTC baby #1. I had my implant removed May last year, and DH and I haven’t been using protection since then. I kinda hoped it would just sort of happen, but I did some reading in Feb and turns out we were likely not timing it right at all.

So basically we’re learning that there’s a difference between not being careful and actually TTC!

AF turned up today, annoyingly while in a weekend away with DH so that puts me on Cycle 2. I’ve got some ovulation strips and a BBT thermometer for next month so hope it helps!

Saw this this morning - blew my mind!

Fuiseog · 05/04/2019 21:09

@starkid Thank you 💜

@cupcakesandglitter @KatBeCool It's called Countdown to Pregnancy. Have been checking it religiously every cycle myself!

cupcakesandglitter · 05/04/2019 20:56

That's really good @daisiesandpeonies glad you get your answers soon. I think I might lose weight and then see if I want to go private if we end up being referred for anything because I'm super impatient 😩

@KatBeCool I can't remember who posted it before (on one of our much older threads) but there is a website showing chances of BFP at DPO... may be worth trying to find it? I've read plenty of stories about people that get theirs 2 weeks after AF was due so don't feel disheartened, it's a good sign if you don't feel like AF is coming x

@thosethreewords we're at different GPs 😩 DH said that GP said she'll send a letter to him to refer to the hospital or something along those lines, so not too sure 😩 Lake District sounds lovely!!! X

thosethreewords · 05/04/2019 20:35

@cupcakesandglitter does your GP not order them? I've given out SA sample pots and instructions before? 🤔

@KatBeCool sorry for the BFN but FX AF doesn't show this weekend. I don't know how time seems to slow in the TWW but it does.

Next week I have a day off midweek and then I'm away in the Lake District for the weekend with some friends which will be nice (and distracting... if it wasn't for those pesky babies coming with us 🤫) AF due end of next week so either will be down in the dumps or trying hard not to test while away and then not tell people.

DH is very adamant he doesn't want people to know until first scan but I've told him I HAVE to tell my BFF when it comes to it.

I'm feeling a bit dissociated today. The thought of ever having a BFP is just so abstract to me. Idk. I just feel it's not going to happen but I don't want to be negative!

KatBeCool · 05/04/2019 18:44

@cupcakesandglitter I'm glad you're feeling better. Take care of yourself. I'm still in the TWW limbo. 13 DPO today, I couldn't wait till Sunday, today was bfn. Now I'm just waiting. I still keep feeling the pulling and light cramps, but they're not like AF cramps. I'm not meant to have a normal body where everything is clear and I get a bfp at 9dpo.

Chembecky · 05/04/2019 17:44

Hi all. Congrats to those who have had their BFPs!

Just broken up from school (I'm a teacher) and the hubby and I are spending a long weekend in Florence/Pisa which encompasses our anniversary and fertile window...! Fingers crossed! (On cycle 2....!) Have a lovely weekend everyone :)

daisiesandpeonies · 05/04/2019 17:17

@CNORM it might take your cycles a while to settle down - download flo and/or clue so you can keep a record of where you are against when you had sex

daisiesandpeonies · 05/04/2019 17:14

@cupcakesandglitter sorry to hear about af. We're going private so no experience of how long it takes through the NHS. The waiting list for SA at the clinic we chose is a matter of days and they can give you results on the same day, but an appointment with the Consultant if the results aren't great is 6 weeks. We thought we'd just get his results the same day that I see the Consultant to get mine - have all of our bad/good news in one go!

CNORM · 05/04/2019 17:13

I agree, I don’t think I’ll fall that quickly!
I took my patch off and AF come instantly, I just haven’t put it back on. But I assume it takes a few months for your body to settle again without contraception.
I’m very excited about the idea of finally having a family, but I don’t want to add the pressure onto us. I always thought we wouldn’t have an easy ride so just taking every day as it comes. If I am ovulating though, Iv dtd a few times this week so I could be lucky but who knows. We all hope for a bfp quickly don’t we!? X

cupcakesandglitter · 05/04/2019 17:05

Hey @CNORM welcome - AF means Aunt Flo/period. It sounds a little too early but you might be ovulating around now. After I came off contraception it took a few weeks for AF to come, but my periods were crazy and irregular for half a year or so, but everyone on here has had different experiences when coming off it xx

CNORM · 05/04/2019 17:02

Can I please ask what AF means, I’m trying to learn all of these short terms lol x

cupcakesandglitter · 05/04/2019 16:53

@daisiesandpeonies AF is here for me so nothing promising unfortunately! I hope you get your BFP beforehand but I'm glad that things will start moving soon if AF does turn up. Can I ask how long it took for your DH to get his SA booked? Mine went to the GP this week for it but we don't know how long it takes x

daisiesandpeonies · 05/04/2019 16:28

@cupcakesandglitter hope you're feeling better. I've been a bit off and on with mumsnet the last couple of months in terms of posting but always lurking and reading! I'm sorry that you've been feeling poorly. I get a lot of nausea towards the end of my cycle, although it always makes me feel hopeful so I'll feel hopeful for you!🤞🏼

I'm currently CD34 - af will appear any time between now and week on Sunday. Kind of weirdly looking forward to af as the clinic have told me to call the nurse as soon as it comes as they like to test on CD4. DH has a swimmer test at the end of the month then our verdict with the consultant in May! Wish I could find out TODAY though arrrrghhh.... nearly a year of TTC has used up my patience reserve

CNORM · 05/04/2019 16:19

Hi everyone so I’m really new to this all.
Iv been on the evra patch for almost 10 years! I’m married early 30’s and just starting to ttc baby #1.
I come off my patch 25th March had my period and now on the roll to get baby number one.

it’s early days i know, and I’m probably not in my ovulation time yet am I? My last period was 25th March lasted for around 5 days. Iv dtd every other day this week and am experiencing pain in my right ovary. Is this normal? X

cupcakesandglitter · 05/04/2019 16:05

Thankyou for thinking of me @KatBeCool @starkid @thosethreewords @Fivebyfive2 and anyone else I've missed ❤️ I'm feeling a bit better today, I've been preoccupied with work so it's taken my mind off things I guess. Last night I felt really queasy and like I was going to vomit, but I just forced myself to sleep through it. I've just made sure I've eaten properly today and if I feel any worse I'll call the doctors, but I think I made the right decision not calling them yesterday - all of my AF recently have been all over the place and so different and weird that everything seems abnormal. Gonna focus on looking after myself - hopefully over the weekend I'll feel better and I can hit the gym again. Thankyou all again, couldn't get through any of this without your support. How're you all doing? Xx

thosethreewords · 05/04/2019 15:46

@Fuiseog so if we get BFNs on 9DPO we know we're not definitely out!! Really good luck to you and keep us updated with your progress!

@rose555 happy Friday! Yes I've not got the Friday feeling as I'm at work on call all weekend 😞 39 hours in the next few days, fun times! But I'm off next Wednesday and going to have baby cuddles with a friend whos got a 9week old. What are you upto?

@cupcakesandglitter How are you doing today?

@starkid sounds like you need to be kind to yourself and let yourself recover, get well soon xx
