Anyone got a BFN the day AF is due then a BFP later?

AF due today but no sign and normally I get spotting the day before, had none.
Had loads of “symptoms” but I know they could all be pre AF hormonal changes.
BFN on an IC and am just wondering if I would definitely get a positive today?

Sorry to hear that Wishing56. Still waiting here too. Took another FRER yesterday, still negative. Period was due last Sunday so I'm not going to test anymore unless it still hasn't arrived by Sunday.

No, not had that. Whenever my period has been late and I've tested it's always been a true negative and period arrived days later. It is shit!

Yes. This can easily happen. It depends on exactly when you ovulated and when you implanted. The fertilised egg has to travel so it can implant. The amount of days this takes is different for different people. Only when the egg is implanted does the hcg hormone start producing. use pink tests as far better. Clear blue are apparently giving false positives!

Decided after last nights BFN to hold off until at least friday. I can't deal with another disappointing BFN.
Starting to think that surely it should have shown even the faintest positive by now if was pregnant.
Will keep you updated.

Just tested with another FRER, still negative here. I'm surprised because I'm never late so I had convinced myself I was pregnant. Good luck Wishing and Explorers if you're testing this morning.

Jumping on here - hope that’s ok but I think I’ve driven my other thread potty as I’m the last one still waiting for AF - now a week late, have PCOS but have been clockwork for months. Worried my new but not super heavy exercise regime or slightly stressful month have done for me...

Couldn't wait until tomorrow as i have just picked up some clear blue tests but still a BFN :(

Really thought would be positive. I know its not the best time of day to test so will probably retest on thursday morning. Keeping my fingers crossed until AF arrives

Try not to worry about alcohol it’s so early if you are pregnant it won’t have made a difference at all.

Still no sign further sign of AF here but I’m guessing she is definitely on her way as my sore boobs have pretty much gone - they’ve been much sorer this time round so wasn’t sure if it could be a pregnancy symptom instead but this morning it’s barely there.
I imagine AF will show her face at some point today so don’t want to waste another test especially it was negative yesterday. :(

Yes that's how I feel too. It feels like such a long wait until tomorrow to test again. Due to the drinking I feel a bit conflicted about which result I want now. Hope it's positive for you.

Teaonthebedsheets I am the same I drank saturday night after getting a negative on saturday morning. Worried i shouldn't have.

Still no signs of AF this is now 3 days late and cycle day 35 which is the longest I have gone previously.
Last night i had some light cramps but they passed and i felt exhausted. Fell asleep when got home from work at 6.30!
Dont know what to think anymore. Trying to hold out to test until tomorrow.
My head is telling me it will be negative and my heart is saying positive.

I'm in this boat. Tested 5 and 4 days before missed period with an FRER - both negative. No symptoms e.g. sore breasts. So I drank at a work event and then again on Saturday night. Period was due Sunday, I'm usually very regular but it still isn't here. Test yesterday negative so I'm waiting and will take another tomorrow morning if it doesn't come today. Worried about the alcohol now!

Oh that’s interesting! I think mine IS probably AF but if I don’t get anything tomorrow either I will wait a few days and test

Yes I did! She's sitting on front of me right now covered on mud from nursery and eating a sausage sandwich! I didn't get a BFP until 2 days after AF was due.

Yes sometimes it starts like that. Other times it is just bright red
