Anyone got a BFN the day AF is due then a BFP later?

AF due today but no sign and normally I get spotting the day before, had none.
Had loads of “symptoms” but I know they could all be pre AF hormonal changes.
BFN on an IC and am just wondering if I would definitely get a positive today?

The pink ones are from 2 days a go and the purple ones are from yesterday different brands panicking as the lines seem to be getting lighter

@explorers10 fingers crossed you get some answers soon.
If things dont happen for me this month i plan on getting a GP appointment with the possible discussion of PCOS due to my irregular period lengths etc.

I dont think i have had any symptoms this month, so i am not hopeful :(

Going to try and not test until i am 3 days late due to the disappointment of last month!

I haven’t tried this month but will try again next month. Had some blood tests done at the doctors and they came back with high testerone so are referring me for a scan for possible pcos. I was in so much of a shock and really upset during my fertile week that I couldn’t dtd however back to being positive as read about pcos and women can get pregnant with it that’s if I have it.

How are you getting on with your tww? Any symptoms?

Thank you! Agreed mentally exhausting, had a busy week at work too & found it so hard to concentrate plus it’s horrible having AF. Couldn’t wait to get home and have a hot bath. Enjoy your drink!

I feel like this week as been mentally exhausting with constant thoughts of hoping of getting a BFP. And now AF is being a total witch. Looking forward to a drink tonight and just relaxing!

Thanks @wishing56 and @teaonthebedsheets that’s helpful that you both not obsessing and taking it easy TTC. I think I have become too obsessed & keep fearing the worse like it hasn’t happened as something is wrong. Really need to try and chill out. Going on holiday on Sunday so really hope I can take my mind off TTC

Same. I track on an app so i know roughly when ovulation occurs but my husband doesnt even want to know any of the details as he doesnt want any pressure.

Same here re ovulation testing, my husband is worried I'll become too obsessed with TTC if I monitor it as we're still quite early days of trying.

@wishing56 im also on cycle 5 now so in the same boat. I’m going to try and relax more & just dtd as and when without using opks. Very hard I know but i feel like I’ve put too much pressure on myself the last few months

I ended up taking 5 tests as well.
I am with you @explorers10 next time i will believe the negative.
Each cycle has taught me to not do something. After cycle 1 i decided not to test early anymore and wait for AF, cycles 2&3 dont try and symptom spot as AF and pregnancy symptoms are basically the same, now cycle 4 believe the negative!

Going to use this next month to get healthier and lose some weight.

Definitely keep positive. I believe that everything happens for a reason and we will all get our BFP in the end.

I know. I can't believe I took five FRERs Blush what a waste. But I really did feel hopeful. Well looks like we're all in a similar boat now timing wise. Could keep the thread going as we move through the cycle? Hope you're feeling better Aberforthsgoat

When these tests say BFN & I’m late I’m actually going to believe them next time! Terrible false hope! Why do our bodies play tricks on us. Going to try and stay positive. 1 day it will happen

Sorry I disappeared, AF came with a weird stop start and then became the AF from actual hell.
So I was curled up feeling sorry for myself!

AF arrived! Day 34 usually 29 cycle. I did have a bad sore throat so maybe this pushed ovulation back a few days!
