@charlotte9876 It is anoying, I waited to come off the pill until we were ready to ttc dc2 thinking it would happen right away and now im on cycle 4, I wish I had of came off it sooner to get it out of my system and ttc sooner.
Have you heard about omega oils and b6? If you google them will give you more info. They help everything to do with your cycles and regulating them etc. I take both and feel they really work... I also find the b6 helps with my AF pms each month (and im pretty sure is the reason dh survives every cycle 🤣)

Hi @wjscjh lol Its so strange how it can happen instantly for one dc then take ages for another isnt it. You sound nice and healthy even with the chocolate 😆 and with dtd lots this cycle, hopefully this is your time!

I'm a Mum to a 2.5yo DD, and have been trying for another baby since June 2018. With our first baby we were pregnant by the second cycle, didn't do anything to increase our chances of pregnancy, just started having unprotected sex and BAM! So when we decided to try for a second I expecting it to happen the same way :(

Anyway, when I say 'trying' since June I just mean having unprotected sex and not doing anything else to increase our chances. However, this month we've both really gone into broody-overdrive and decided to be more intentional about trying. Flo says I was in my fertile window from the 12th-18th March so we had sex for 5 of those days, and then have said we will try and have sex every other day/every 3 days until the end of the cycle.

I'm 27, slim, non-drinker/smoker, healthy (apart from chocolate ha), and the same applies to my DH. I think we are starting to feel a bit down that it hasn't happened yet BUT the shaggathon has commenced and I am so hoping that this will be our month, we would both love a December baby, it's my favourite month of the year!! Plus, not sure how much longer I can have this much sex before I collapse from tiredness...

I think it's the combination of my LP only being 10 days long combined with AF then only lasting 2 days that's making me think that perhaps it could cause a problem. But I think I just need to wait a few months, keep tracking as best I can and see how it goes.

I'm just annoyed I hadn't really considered the effects of being on the pill for so long- all you ever get told is that if you miss just one pill you might get pregnant so I'd never thought about the possible side effects of pumping your body with hormones for 10 years and that it might not happen instantly

@blondie they say the 2 days before are most important as then the sperm are already there waiting for egg and sperm live for 5 days so u have a gd chance

I'm 32, TTC #1, AF due 20 April
This will be our second cycle of trying, but I'm still trying to figure out my cycles since coming off the pill (wishing someone had told me that it all doesn't fall straight back into place once you come off!!)

My past couple of cycles have been fairly long, not ovulating until around CD25 and then only a 10 day luteal phase before AF arrives. AF has then only lasted 2 days which doesn't seem long enough (although it's obviously great it's over quickly!)

This month I've started taking pregnacare conception in the hope of lengthening luteal phase as I've read that it being short can cause problems as the lining doesn't have time to build up enough. Is anyone else taking pregnacare conception? I'm making DH take the well man equivalent too.

I haven't started OPKs this month yet as I'm only on CD 6 but I'll probably start next week

I’d be due on the 11th if we’re successful this cycle. I’d love a December baby. I’m a December baby myself and it’s so nice having lots of positive things to look forward to in winter. DS is a winter baby too.

Hi @Chips4dinneragain! December babies are fun... you might be lucky and get one that has a estimated due date of Xmas eve but arrives the first week of December instead 👍 if we are lucky this cycle we are looking at a due date of Boxing Day 🙈 xx

I think it's a possibility - earlier today my EWCM had gone and it was sticky instead. It's got wetter as the days gone on, and my cervix has gotten higher and softened up again. So that would suggest it's still to happen. I'll try testing twice tomorrow - AM and mid afternoon/early evening if possible. Glow and Ovia reckon I'm not due to Ov until Thursday anyway based on a 30 day cycle, and DH has his days off from tomorrow so we were hoping to get to try while the kids are at school so it would suit me quite well to get a positive tomorrow or Thursday!

@peachyx2505 I use Ovia, I didnt know there was an app that did that! Cool. If I dont get my bfp this cycle, I will download for next

@deathbycats Do you think its poss maybe you haven't ovulated yet? I know they say not to test in the morning but the reason for that is that most ladies surge in the afternoon so if you only test in morning you can miss it so I always test in AM and PM but I always get my positive opk in the morning.

The tests look encouraging so I bet you will get a positive any day now 💖

Hello! Potential December due date would be scarily close to Christmas if this is my lucky cycle, however as I'm now into cycle 5 I don't really care if it means getting a bfp! TTC no.2 and starting tote a bit fretful about the age gap, regretting waiting until DD was 3.5 to start now (she was conceived 1st cycle so naively thought it would be as easy second time round)

Currently CD 2 of 26ish day cycle and got all that tragic optimism that comes with the follicular phase

These are today’s OPKs. I don’t normally do 4 in a day but even my FMU which you’re not meant to use these with gave a faint line. Maybe tomorrow I’ll get a positive?! Glow - helping me keep my chronicles of a mad woman accurate 😂

Do you girls use the glow app? You can take a pic of your opk and it'll say if it's neg or pos! It's been accurate for me x

@deathbycats My suge can be very short too. Do you know what cd roughly you normally ovulate on?

How confusing @blondie !! Yes that looks positive, so Sunday must of just been a strong buildup line.

Dont be too impressed, I confess I took one this morning... because I have been having ewcm for so long now and I wanted to be sure I was out of ny fertile days so we didnt need to dtd anymore. It was negative so that was a relief 😁😂

@coastaldreamer Yes once the second line goes as dark or darker than control line then you should ovulate that day or the one after I think.
I think they are great as they let you know exactly when you need to dtd but they are quite addictive and its hard not to get too obsessed with them

That looks like a positive to me! You ovulate within 12-36 hours of a positive OPK, so time to catch the egg 😄
