After a stressful cycle last month - four days late for AF and a late ovulation this cycle, I’m currently 8dpo. I know. Far too early to test. But as the title says, I’m a maniac 🤣. So after an emotional day of friend announcing her pregnancy (I’m happy for her) and becoming very emotional I decided to POAS. I know it’s far too early but I think I see a very faint line. I’m not sure if I’m just wanting to see it so wanted your opinions.

P.S. I know the test becomes invalid taking it apart but the window on the test was so tiny (it’s a cheap one) and I couldn’t see so I literally took this photo the second I removed the test from the case.

Good luck this month. I used to think week 1 day 1 when got AF - onwards and upwards - it'll happen soon enough

So I woke up this morning with AF! I knew with the tests not getting darker that it wasn’t meant to be this month. I’m absolutely devastated but hopefully can stick the next time!

You are pregnant marshmallow.
But you are stressing yourself out too much with all this testing.
My digital didn’t show positive til after my frers were dark.
Try hold off a few days and test in the morning x

Yes levels are higher in the evening, it’s just fmu is more concentrated. You can replicate the concentration by not drinking or weeing for four hours.

My LP is 12/13 days so technically due today/tomorrow! Are they higher in evening? I thought that FMU they would have been higher? This morning’s test was 100% positive but it wasn’t any darker than yesterday’s maybe actually slightly fainter! Thanks for your support I appreciate it and I’ve got everything crossed it does. Xx

If you are 13dpo then I am guessing you are due your period tomorrow? So not even late yet.
Are the lines getting fainter or staying the same?
Also hcg levels are higher in the evening so if you have a spare frer you could hold your wee and not drink for four hours this evening.
I hope this pregnancy sticks for you.

Yes I tested and the line was still quite faint but 100% there! I still have no AF and sore boobs but I’m not holding out any hope as I’m 13dpo so the line should be darker. I’m absolutely devastated really thought this was it!

My sister had a similar experience with her second. Faint lines then tested negative for weeks... she was defo pregnant as my niece was eventually born lol. 9st! Haha! Poor woman! 😂

I'm not sure of dpo as I'm straight off the mini pill and not had any bleeding. Well, I think I maybe had a little bit of withdrawal but I can't remember exactly when - maybe 3 weeks ago? I put a rough guess in the Flo app and it says 11dpo... but that's a guess.

A girl I work with started to feel odd and sick all the time. She was ttc but multiple tests were negative and she only found out she was pregnant when she went to the doctors about feeling ill. She had her 9st 11 baby a few weeks ago!

@Rosie2531 I know, I think because it’s the first time ever for me I don’t really understand/know what to expect!
How many dpo are you? I would say try and wait til AF is due but then I would be a complete hyprocrite as over the last two days I’ve taken like 5 tests 🤣🙈 good luck to you and I hope you get your BFP xxx

It's still a positive though! Don't panic! I tested with frer today and can't see anything, although the control line seemed a bit off (maybe I'm just trying to convince myself that lol) and not very clear.

Tried with a cheaper test and I can see a faint line again... Confused.com.

So as I’m not right in the head!! I took another FRER as I then had it in my head the tests were faulty 😳. So it’s def another faint positive. So my only option now is to wait and test with FMU tomorrow and hopefully there is a darker line! I will update you all tomorrow - absolutely a nervous wreck here as being 12dpo I would expect a darker line 😥😥 just need to pray now!

Wait until AF is late before using Clear Blue. They're not as sensitive as FRER's. You're getting +ve's without using FMU and that's a good sign. Keeping FX for you x

@Marshmallow1992 There's definitely a positive there! I think your wee will probably have just been more dilute. Do another in the morning to check that it is getting darker :) congrats though! Don't worry, every woman will be different x

So basically I’ve got the afternoon off work and on the way home got a FRER. The line is the exact same! I couldn’t go on like that another day I had to test. I took this test with only a two hour hold! So I’m hoping that’s why maybe the line is just the same as it’s not first morning urine?

@Marshmallow1992 hope you are able to have more clarity tomorrow. Fx for you that it darkens and hopefully it is the hormone developing.

Thank you so much for your help ladies. I’ll get a FRER and do it in the morning and fingers crossed it’s stronger! The second one I did was the exact same strength as the one before but that was only about 14 hours of a difference, then the CB Digital I did this morning so just over 24 hours from the first FRER so I’m hoping the hormone just isn’t as strong yet to show. Xxx

@Marshmallow1992 Have everything crossed for you! I've heard a lot of bad things about CB and frer can detect much earlier. Maybe do another frer to put your mind at ease?

Clear Blue detects HCG at something like 50, FRER at something like 6.

It's perfectly possible to have an early positive for several days on a FRER before a CB would be likely to detect, if that helps.

As long as your FRER line isn't getting weaker, you're still okay x
