Hey all, just wondering how many cycles it took people to get pregnant with their first?

I'm only cycle #2 at the moment so no urgency on my part, just wondering :)

1 cycle for us.
We feel very lucky/blessed

Hollowvictory · 07/03/2019 20:28

4 but got twins 4th time. Changed clinics after cycle 3.

happymummy12345 · 07/03/2019 20:24

We were trying for 4 months.

mrsk28 · 07/03/2019 20:22

First was unplanned at 21 - ended in MC at 7 weeks

Current pregnancy (33 weeks) - cycle 3 at age 28

Even that felt like ages but enjoy the time now, pregnancy is tough on your body. And best of luck ☺️

BikeRunSki · 07/03/2019 20:04

1 for me. I now realise how incredibly lucky that is

Me too, and absolutely

18 for the first, one month for the second and third!

Astrid0208 · 07/03/2019 19:41

First cycle, aged 32

Luxembourgmama · 07/03/2019 19:32

1 but then 10 for number 2

workinprogressmum · 07/03/2019 18:08

16 months.

SpottedTiger · 07/03/2019 15:55

2.5 years, lost track of cycles, was due to start fertility treatment but got BFP the week before.

Megan2018 · 07/03/2019 15:51

I'm not sure as wasn't keeping track properly - I think about 7 or 8 but this was over about a year as we had some months where we didn't have sex at all (busy year with a house move, redundancy and some illness).
I am 40.

Proudpeacock · 07/03/2019 15:48

Think it was number 69 that did it on the end!

FoggyDay58 · 07/03/2019 15:46

1 cycle, ended in miscarriage at 10 weeks.
12 cycles until next pregnancy. Now 32 weeks, expecting in May.

Needadvices · 07/03/2019 15:43

First month trying for first, second before first period after childbirth, third first month, fourth mistake

No DC yet but I'm on month 9 and absolutely nothing

VenusStarr · 07/03/2019 14:53

16 cycles, age 35. Had started fertility tests at 12 cycles and the GP sent our referral on the Monday, positive test on the following Saturday.

TheArtfulScreamer1 · 07/03/2019 12:51

5 years and a round of IVF, I had regular periods and no diagnosable issues but sometimes that's just the way it goes. Good luck.

TheWashingMachine · 07/03/2019 12:42

1 with each DC but that was just sheer luck, I only have one fallopian tube. I was 34 with DC1, 35 with DC2.

DoAsDreamersDo · 07/03/2019 12:24

11 cycles (when I was 34) x

BrendaUrie · 07/03/2019 11:56

ps1991 · 07/03/2019 11:14

8 cycles for our first baby who is now 6weeks old. It seemed as though it took forever! DH is 27 and I am 25 both with no health issues :)
