Decided to set up a thread for ladies due to ovulate some time around the 22nd March. If you're due to OV around this time, come on in!

I find these easier to follow than the big month-long threads.

Thought we could all test at similar times, discuss our crazy symptom spotting, and all the other "fun" around TTC.

You're doubly welcome if you're a POaS addict like me Grin

About me:
33
This will be cycle 5 after TFMR last year.

TTC our first

I've tried conceive plus, preseed, all manner of ovulation kits, etc.

This month I'm going to focus on losing half a stone. I've put a lot of weight on since my TFMR. I think i could be disadvantaging myself. I'm also going to cut down on caffeine throughout the who cycle.

I've also bought the Harvard medical school Fertility Diet book, all backed up with science so I'll let you all know how I get on with it.

Here's a summary if anybody interested: www.urmc.rochester.edu/medialibraries/urmcmedia/fertility-center/education/documents/fertility-diet.pdf

Good luck @Anon7501 and welcome.

Robbo93 · 27/03/2019 21:01

Hey @Anon7501 I think I ovulated the exact same time as you! Welcome to our journeys :)

I've got the tender nipple thing too, I'm sure it's all in our heads.

My best friend is 9 weeks and hubbys best friends wife is 11 weeks so I'm in the same boat!

Anon7501 · 27/03/2019 20:55

March i mean

Anon7501 · 27/03/2019 20:54

Hey all,

Can i join please?

26
TTC after mc in may last year
Ovulated on 22nd or 23rd may for the first time since then.

I have had sensitive nipples since ovulation and alot of bloating which i assume is down to the rise in progesterone.

Struggling today as my friends period is one week late so i am just waiting on the text to say the test is positive. I am not sure how i will cope when she tells me! Dont mean to sound selfish either.

@Kinsella82 I'd like to say I have, but it's probably symptom spotting rather than actual symptoms.

Felt a few twinges downstairs, nipples feel tender to touch & today have felt nauseous at times.

Gotta have a 24hr blood pressure monitor fitted tomorrow so that should keep my mind off things!

Kinsella82 · 27/03/2019 20:30

@Robbo93 have you had any symptoms yet??

Kinsella82 · 27/03/2019 20:29

@plipliop nah nothings too cheesy!!!

@Robbo93 the days are going quick enough as we have decorators painting at the moment so there's lots of cleaning up and reorganising to do each day to keep my mind off things!
Spent a fortune today on my dd and ds shared bedroom!

Robbo93 · 27/03/2019 20:22

@Kinsella82 I'm the same as you.. guessing I'm 5DPO but could be 4.. x

plipliop · 27/03/2019 19:55

Give ideas! He will be back soon.

I have a hot cross bun.
Maybe I should put it in the oven.

Too cheesy?! 🙈

Kinsella82 · 27/03/2019 19:52

@plipliop this is actually one of the things I think about a lot - how I'm going to tell DH when it does happen!
So excited for you!

plipliop · 27/03/2019 19:44

Thanks everyone. I don't know what to do with myself!

DH is out...

How do I tell him?!

We can't even remember how I told him last time it was over a DECADE ago 🙈🙈🙈

plipliop · 27/03/2019 19:43

@Kinsella82 I really hope this is your month!

Kinsella82 · 27/03/2019 19:41

Yes it's a FRER.

I noticed I've been a little bit snappy and I feel really aware of my boobs although they don't look or feel any different.

I have been really thirsty too e.g. waking up for a pint of squash.

I also feel a bit wetter iykwim. But no ewcm or lotion like.

OMFG!

Kinsella82 · 27/03/2019 19:23

@plipliop looks like a line to me!! Omg congrats delighted for you!!
Is that a frer test? Were you having any symptoms the last day or two??

plipliop · 27/03/2019 19:20

There's a line isn't there?!

10 dpo.

I said I wouldn't test until 11 but 4 tests arrived today!

I am holding my wee as I can't decide 🤔

Michellebops · 27/03/2019 17:35

@crazychemist I've not a clue about all this.

I had a mmc in October and and my system not been the same since. I have never noticed sore nipples until we started ttc and I took a bit more notice about my body and it's workings.

With my previous pregnancies I didn't have any symptoms other than missed period so I seriously doubt this is anything other than pms.

crazychemist · 27/03/2019 16:56

Definitely got PMS-type symptoms today. Think I ovulated early, which I combination with DD not sleeping well and MIL visiting seems to have ruled me out this month.

@michellebops that all sounds promising! The agonising nipples was what alerted me to expected DD1. Do you normally get sore nipples with AF? I would have thought 2/3 days po would be too early for implantation cramps though, isn’t implantation more like 5 to 7 days po? (Enjoying a bit of vicarious symptom spotting now I’m sure I’m out)

I think these two weeks are going ridiculously slowly. Surely it must be April by now??? I just want to get onto next cycle at this stage, give myself a break from pointless symptom spotting!

deathbycats · 26/03/2019 19:39

I didn't do it with my first and clearly blocked it from my memory with no2 pliploip! Almost bed time though then it's a new day Grin

Day 5/6 symtoms - a bit of PMS style cramping, still sore boobs/nipples and veiny boobs (but maybe they're always like that and I just block it out usually!). Tiredness too but I've not had as much coffee/tea as I normally drink.

Michellebops · 26/03/2019 18:28

@Robbo93 and my nipples are actually killing me!

This behaviour of mine is ridiculous. All far too early. Don't even plan to test until next Thursday as that's my birthday 🙈
