Decided to set up a thread for ladies due to ovulate some time around the 22nd March. If you're due to OV around this time, come on in!

I find these easier to follow than the big month-long threads.

Thought we could all test at similar times, discuss our crazy symptom spotting, and all the other "fun" around TTC.

You're doubly welcome if you're a POaS addict like me Grin

About me:
33
This will be cycle 5 after TFMR last year.

TTC our first

I've tried conceive plus, preseed, all manner of ovulation kits, etc.

This month I'm going to focus on losing half a stone. I've put a lot of weight on since my TFMR. I think i could be disadvantaging myself. I'm also going to cut down on caffeine throughout the who cycle.

I've also bought the Harvard medical school Fertility Diet book, all backed up with science so I'll let you all know how I get on with it.

Here's a summary if anybody interested: www.urmc.rochester.edu/medialibraries/urmcmedia/fertility-center/education/documents/fertility-diet.pdf

Cramps have now gone completely? Very strange? No doubt they will be back in time for AF Saturday ☹️

WildFlower2019 · 03/04/2019 11:32

@SunStruck no problem. Yes, always counted from the first day of your last period.

I'll have a look at those threads x

@WildFlower2019 oh thanks for explaining! Still difficult to get my head around the weeks (as they say 6 weeks but mean from the first day of your last period right)? My ovulation date was late (CD24 or 26) so technically I must just have conceived (implementation).

I can't post more pics today but please look at the 4 days DPO or 2 days DPO thread, I posted in them this morning with pics :)

WildFlower2019 · 03/04/2019 10:12

@SunStruck congrats on our line! Can you capture it in a picture?

I read that every pregnancy is a chemical pregnancy up to around five or six weeks when the Fetal pole can be detected on an ultrasound and after that, it becomes a clinical pregnancy.

So when people say they've had a chemical pregnancy, they actually mean they've lost a chemical pregnancy.

Sorry to be pedantic!

The good news is the risk of loss/miscarriage goes down every week. By now, we're technically 3 weeks pregnant. In another 3 weeks, the risk starts to dramatically drop. expectingscience.com/2015/08/26/lies-damned-lies-and-miscarriage-statistics/

I'm going to try and set myself little milestones for now. Get through today (when I'd normally start spotting before AF, and get to Friday when AF is properly due, then hopefully each week after that until I can have a scan!)

Good luck. X

@WildFlower2019 I see it very clearly! Congrats :)

I also tested this morning 8 or 10 DPO (not sure which) and saw a faint faint line! Never been pregnant before so first time ever.

Now worried about chemical (always worried about something right 🙄). When is it 'safe' for chemical you mean, after approx how many weeks?

I was cramping a lot yesterday and the day before yesterday, but nothing today. My temp dropped right down to near coverline and spiked this morning, so I think implementation happened yesterday? Can it be this recent?

Crazybunnylady123 · 03/04/2019 09:18

@Kinsella
Are you testing Friday or Saturday?
The waiting is hard!

Kinsella82 · 03/04/2019 09:05

@WildFlower2019 I'm going to save my frer for another day or two

Kinsella82 · 03/04/2019 09:05

Delighted the lines are getting stronger for you @WildFlower2019

Michellebops · 03/04/2019 08:57

I did a frer. Total bfn.

Guessing I'm out again this month.
And probably not going to try again.

Time to accept what I have and move on with life.

Congratulations to everyone with their positives ❤️

WildFlower2019 · 03/04/2019 08:53

@Kinsella82 cheapies aren't showing much up for me yet. You have to hold it up to the light and it's a kind of squint and you miss it situation. DH couldn't see it. FX for you x x

WildFlower2019 · 03/04/2019 08:51

11 dpo today and still have some cramping.

Line on this morning's FRER is stronger today too, so I'm pleased about that.

Just hoping AF stays away.... can't wait for the weekend when I will be in the "safe zone" period-wise.

Anybody else testing? Got my FX for everyone x

TTC & due to OV around the 22nd March? Come on in!

I did two IC this morning. One with fmu and one with 2.30am urine. Bfn on both.
I'm definitely going to wait a few more days now because it's soul destroying getting the bfn after getting my hopes up a bit.
11dpo

SunStruck · 03/04/2019 00:58

Sorry last post was for@WildFlower2019 and @20TinkerBell20

SunStruck · 03/04/2019 00:58

@WildFlower2019 I'm also having lots of cramping! DPO 8 or 10 days. I'm testing on Friday if AF hasn't arrived by then...

20TinkerBell20 · 02/04/2019 21:39

wildflower don’t worry it’s fine.... it good to hear you had these pains too, it’s a little bit of hope to hold on to Wink I remember with DD I had period pains and bleeding until at least 6/7 weeks with her so I guess really our bodies make their own rules each time.

WildFlower2019 · 02/04/2019 21:17

Sorry @20TinkerBell20 I got you confused with @xoxhayleyxox as having the other BFP today.

Buttttt I did get a BFP today 10dpo and have had niggly period style pains for a few days now. Don't rule yourself out yet x

OP posts:
WildFlower2019 · 02/04/2019 21:15

Thanks @Explorers10

@20TinkerBell20 I'm the same with the pains and I was with my last pregnancy. I recorded period pains in my app for days last time. Fingers crossed for us both x

When is everybody else testing this cycle? I guess lots of people testing later this week?

OP posts:
20TinkerBell20 · 02/04/2019 21:08

The period type aches and coming in waves more often now. 5 days till AF due. It’s seeming even less likely to be our month Sad

Explorers10 · 02/04/2019 21:03

@wildflower2019 congratulations!! so pleased for you!
