Aaaaaaahhh massive congrats @TulipsTwoLips !!!!! This is great news xxx

MamaGeordie · 10/04/2019 17:07

That's a beautiful sight @TulipsTwoLips Sending all the baby dust to you! 😘

@Peachyx2505 I do a mix of days and nights depending on what I'm rostered although my ward are generally pretty fair. I've been doing lots of mixes recently though due to shortages so am pooped!

Good catch on your OPK! Mine has just gotten a tad darker this afternoon...maybe that's a good sign? Ive been crampy and have a lot of EWCM (tmi sorry!) today so here's to hoping.

Hoping your ovary is playing ball this month lovely.

Teaonthebedsheets · 10/04/2019 17:05

Very exciting! Congratulations Tulips, what lovely news.

Just had another negative on an FRER and 13dpo so ruling myself out this month. Going to a champagne event tonight so at least I can have a glass!

Peachyx2505 · 10/04/2019 16:14

Awww Congratulations @TulipsTwoLips 😍🤞🤞 hope it's a sticky for you xx

@lori2019 I hope you get your positive before the weekend!

@MamaGeordie and @thosethreewords high five to the night workers! It can be bloody tough sometimes! Luckily I do permanent nights so not swapping between the nights and days. What do you both do? I hope you've both done well with your sorting out 👍

I've only used the opks for one cycle and I only just caught my surge... we'd gone away for the weekend and I hadn't taken them with me.... so when we got back the Sunday evening I thought I'd quickly do one and it was a blazing positive 😂 hope you get yours soon 🤞🤞

Hoping my one ovary is on my side this month and has done its job! I did have ovulation pain at work early hours of Sunday morning. It didn't even last an hour so 🤞🤞that was ovulation, and that it didn't happen on the Friday/Saturday like the apps predicted.

Keeping everything crossed for more bfps in the coming weeks xx

Charlotte9876 · 10/04/2019 15:19

Congratulations @TulipsTwoLips !!!! Fingers crossed it's a good one 😀

TulipsTwoLips · 10/04/2019 14:21

I still don’t really believe this!

TulipsTwoLips · 10/04/2019 14:12

Glad to hear I’m not the only one wasting this sunshine by tidying out cupboards!
Grin

I got a faint bfp on a frer this week! But now we’re in limbo afraid to get too excited in case it doesn’t stick...

Fingers crossed as ever for everyone 🤞🏼

MamaGeordie · 10/04/2019 12:11

Oh I'm glad I'm not alone @lori2019
We haven't DTD as much as we should have really as I've been on nights, typically. Hoping we haven't missed out. Crossing my fingers you get your positive before your OHs time away.

lori2019 · 10/04/2019 11:44

@MamaGeordie Me 🙋‍♀️ D14 and usually would have seen a surge by now, but not even a hint of a positive. Still DTD in case I'm just missing it. OH goes away for 4 days on Monday and then we have a weekend with my parents so hope I get a positive by the weekend.

MamaGeordie · 10/04/2019 11:24

Oh I sympathise with you @Peachyx2505 - I've just finished my stretch of 4 nights the other day and shattered.
I'm also trying to distract myself from overthinking so am gutting the house today. Bloody OPKs have got me loopy this month. I'm now CD13 and my normal cycles are 23 days (always been short). I've been using OPKs since CD6 and nothing but faint lines. Anyone else having dramas with them?
Crossing my fingers for those in the TWW.

thosethreewords · 10/04/2019 10:37

@Peachyx2505 enjoy your sleep!! I'm glad I've not got nights for another few weeks yet - back to getting some sunshine for once! I've also got one (or maybe three) of those cupboards. I do actually enjoy sorting them out. I'm the chucker-outer in our house and my DH is somewhat more sentimental (of tat) x

Peachyx2505 · 10/04/2019 10:22

I do love a good sort out! Enjoy! I need to tackle ds's bedroom again soon, and the dreaded 'chuck anything and everything in here' cupboard under the stairs!

I've just got into bed after my last night shift... 4 nights 😴😴

Ttc #2 cycle 3 not sure how many dpo.... maybe somewhere between 3-6 dpo?! 🤞🤞

thosethreewords · 10/04/2019 10:14

How is everyone doing today? It's really sunny up north and I'm out walking the pup! I'm trying to think of ways to distract myself from babies and TTC do I can be productive today... I'm going to have a kitchen clear out instead - how thrilling!

Recap TTC #1 Cycle 3 8-9DPO

Peachyx2505 · 08/04/2019 20:25

@Broodyaf can I just echo what tulips said. Giving you a hug and will still be keeping everything crossed for you xx

Ahhh bummer @Teaonthebedsheets. May be still a tad too early. You aren't out yet xx

Teaonthebedsheets · 08/04/2019 19:59

11dpo and BFN on FRER... Should have waited to test Sad oh well. Really convinced myself it would be positive- breasts are quite swollen and tender.

Sorry to hear your news Broodyaf but it doesn't sound like IVF is inevitable. I'm sure the doctor would have said if so. Fingers crossed for you.

Broodyaf · 07/04/2019 22:07

Thank you so much @TulipsTwoLips xx

TulipsTwoLips · 07/04/2019 21:45

Ah, will look out for your other thread.

I know it’s so hard, but don’t be scared 💐 Even with the same symptoms our bodies are all so different. 🤞🏼 for you.

Broodyaf · 07/04/2019 15:26

Thanks @TulipsTwoLips
I started a new thread re my test results and a lady has come back with what seems to be the same as me (low progesterone & shirt cycles) and she had to go down the IVF route - no creams/pills ! I'm scared now 😭😭

TulipsTwoLips · 07/04/2019 14:29

@Broodyaf sorry to hear about your tests, but maybe it’s a good thing to have found a reason and now the doctors can start to raise it?

Fingers crossed for you.

kaytee87 · 07/04/2019 13:13

If you're 10dpo you could probably test now with a FRER Smile

kaytee87 · 07/04/2019 13:13

@Teaonthebedsheets I'm due on Thursday so I'll test Friday morning if AF hasn't come. I have 2 FRER's sitting in the bathroom cabinet. Tbh I'm not really holding out much hope.

thosethreewords · 07/04/2019 12:29

@Teaonthebedsheets I've no idea tbh. I keep going back and forth between when I'm late and just testing every other day.
I'm due my period on Saturday next week I think but I'm away next weekend so may test Friday night to see if I can have a drink. But then I'm rubbish at lying so if people ask me why I'm not drinking and I am pregnant and I know... I won't be able to say! I'm either 5 or 6 DPO today

Teaonthebedsheets · 07/04/2019 10:39

When will everyone be starting to test? I'm 10dpo and planned to test when my period is late but I might do one on Wednesday...

Rubberyduck · 07/04/2019 08:37

Oh I just realised by next month I mean this month...just new cycle for me Smile

Rubberyduck · 07/04/2019 08:36

Congrats Babs what lovely news 😊

I have been loitering in the background on this thread as we are primed to ttc #2. We officially DTD for the first time last night without contraception. Abit silly as we were cd24 so absolutely no chance of getting a bfp but its lovely to think we are enroute to start trying next month! AF is due next Friday. Fx its a short one as my bday is coming up.

Heres to some January babies 😍
