Sorry about AF @Betty, that's shit.
Know exactly where you're both coming from - I feel more in control tracking O and feel I obsess less when I do track but it is constant. I have started to dread FW because it feels so mechanical. I get upset if DH isn't up for BDing (which is horrible and ridiculous) and I take it so personally. I spend all of AF/weeks leading up to FW wondering if we will DTD enough over FW, all of FW hating him for not wanting to do it and then all of the TWW resenting him for not doing enough/obsessing about symptoms. It's awful.
No wonder he doesn't want to sleep with me Confused
It isn't sustainable at all but then what can you do?

Kinsters · 15/04/2019 11:35

Sorry, cross posted Betty. That sucks about AF.

You're right, it just becomes very boring. I desperately want a baby but I think maintaining this level of thought devoted to it isn't sustainable. I've started a couple of new hobbies and I'm just trying to make it not the whole focus of my thoughts. Easier when I'm not in the tww though. I can feel my obsession rising again now I've maybe ovulated and had sex in the fertile window. I loved having a mental break from it all last month, just wish I could stay in that head space whilst still ttc.

Kinsters · 15/04/2019 11:29

Fingers crossed for Jan 2020! If FF is right about my ovulation I'd be due 3rd January lol. Who knew it would take this long...when we started back in July/August DH was a bit on the fence and thought we should wait and aim for a late 2019 baby...now we'd be happy whatever day it was born on! Christmas day, NYD, all good.

BettySwoll0cks · 15/04/2019 11:27

Fingers crossed @Kinsters !!

I've started spotting this morning, AF starting. Oh well. I'm getting really bored of this, and the baby making sex, urgh, it just feels like another chore and on top of that my DH expects me to pretend I'm enjoying it! Sheesh.

Bentley111 · 15/04/2019 09:59

What a shame... that's rubbish, but at least you've done everything you can! Keeping everything crossed for you this month.
Let's hope for Jan 2020 babies Grin

Kinsters · 15/04/2019 09:14

He's now not back until Wednesday! Sucks. We've done the best we can for this cycle though and even if ovulation is Tuesday then we'll have got O-2 so that's OK.

The weekend was really fun! We crammed a lot in!

Bentley111 · 15/04/2019 08:59

Oh no @Kinsters they do look super high but if your body is usually fairly clockwork and you still haven't had the +ive opk, I would discard the temps as anomalies.
If it's not an anomaly, it looks like you timed BD at the right time if you did O when FF said so I would just try again tomorrow when your DH gets back and hope for the best... at least you're covered either way then.
Ps sounds like you had a fun weekend Grin

Kinsters · 15/04/2019 06:05

Or maybe I did ovulate that early... Looking back at my previous charts I never had super high temperatures on the couple of other occasions I've drunk a large amount (and the two times this month - yesterday I felt pretty sober by bed time and the Friday night drinking I was no more than a little tipsy).

Who knows!

Kinsters · 15/04/2019 01:36

Aww such cute dogs! My chart this month is a total write off. I drank pretty heavily on Friday night and Sunday afternoon so my temps the days after (Saturday and Monday) seem much too high. We stayed out really late Saturday night as well and then had a lie in so I've got another high temp and FF is saying I've ovulated!

I'm pretty sure I haven't ovulated yet but even if it's today as I expected then my temp will just remain high tomorrow and I won't know which day is the correct one. Still no positive opks...

I'm really thinking of giving up charting tbh, I always get this have I or haven't I ovulated stress and I don't think it's worth it.

She is beautiful ❤️ I'm sure it will grow out... poor pup 🙈

BettySwoll0cks · 13/04/2019 08:41

Otherwise I have a busy day; have done a Body Coach workout, given DS his brekkie, now heading over to my holiday cottage to turn that around for guests coming this afternoon then over to Essex for the wknd with family. I am doing Easter lunch for 16 plus 4 kids (I think, the numbers keep growing 🙈) next Sunday so I need to do a bit of planning. Hope everyone has a good weekend ☀️

BettySwoll0cks · 13/04/2019 08:35

Hiya @Bentley111 your dog is adorable 🐾🥰🐾 I threatened to take my 2 to the groomer this week which would have cost £70, which shocked my DH so much he got the clippers out and did it himself!! My little girl now looks like Shaun the Sheep! Oh well it'll grow back...

Glad he's only away the one night @Kinsters 🤞🏼 fingers crossed.

What's everyone up to this weekend?
Just taken my DDogs for a nice long walk & we are having fish & chips for tea 😋

My dr said she'd give me aspirin next time I got a BFP. I think it's quite common to take and doesn't have any known bad effects.

CD10 here today and should ovulate on Monday or Tuesday. DH thinks he'll only be away monday and tuesday so we should be able to cover it with sunday night and tuesday evening sex.

Buggles1 · 11/04/2019 11:43

@tigsyboo... don’t mind... they thought it was just over 9 weeks. Hence I waited for the reassurance scan this time until after 9 weeks. Such an anxious wait... keeping everything crossed for everyone on here...

Bentley111 · 11/04/2019 08:22

I spoke to my DM about aspirin last night. She said that one of her BFs had 3 mc's after her first DC. Her GP advised her to take aspirin when she fell pg after the 3rd mc & had textbook pregnancy with her DS. It could all of course be chance.
This was all "back in the day" too.

As you said @tigsyboo I can't see it doing any harm.

Just checked my calendar. FW is due to start next Thursday... DH's work night out.
He doesn't go out very often at all so tends to "enjoy himself"... which is usually followed by 3 days of feeling sorry for himself to get over it.
I hate feeling like a nagging wife but we might need to have a chat about that 🙈 my anxiety is going through the roof thinking of sperm being pickled in cider and not being able to BD because of a hangover 🙈

tigsyboo · 11/04/2019 07:37

I told my gp I was taking it, she initially told me I shouldn't and then I asked her to read into it and she told me she can't recommend or prescribe it- but it seems to have no adverse affects so if it gives me race of mind to continue if I choose.

Studies have shown it increases chances of healthy baby's after miscarriage where no issues have yet been identified (ie before you have had three so no one cares) as it very slightly increases the blood flow to reproductive organs and stops very minor clots forming - so if blood flow to uterus or clotting was the issue this should help.
I figured if it's not hurting and it may help, why not.
I read to take it till half way through then reduce it gradually until off it for third trimester to reduce risk of excess bleeding during labour.

I take extra 25ug spray of vit d and 100mg magnesium on top of my pregnancy vitamins for same reason. Studies have shown deficiencies in these are linked to miscarriage- nothing I could find suggested they would hinder in any way.

Pegase · 10/04/2019 21:36

Are there any possible side effects to taking aspirin before I jump on this bandwagon? Do you take it only post-ov?

tigsyboo · 10/04/2019 16:51

@Buggles1 I understand you being nervous, I am too.
I'll be 11+6 and I don't know why I said weds, mines tues!

Hope you don't mind me asking this, Did they say when your lost baby stopped growing when you had your scan last time? Xx

Buggles1 · 10/04/2019 16:27

Glad you had a Happy Birthday @Tigsyboo

My 12 wk scan is next Wednesday (same as you @tigsyboo!) but I’ll be almost 13 wks by then. Feeling anxious today cause it was now (11+6) that I started bleeding last time. Things do feel different this time and with the reassurance scan I do feel slightly better about everything - for now!

Bentley111 · 10/04/2019 11:07

I have some 300mg in the cupboard, will take a quarter today & grab some tomorrow. Thank you 🎉

Oh @BettySwoll0cks that's such a shame. Keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏼

tigsyboo · 10/04/2019 09:26

@Bentley111 I started it the month before I got bfp, not sure when exactly though and taken it every day since

BettySwoll0cks · 10/04/2019 08:52

@Bentley111 temps rose back up again and then came crashing back down again this morning. For my sanity I would like to stop temping for the month but I want to have a record for when (if?) I ever get a referral to the RMC

Bentley111 · 10/04/2019 08:13

Also @BettySwoll0cks that's fab. At least you know something is doing something good!
How's your chart looking after the possible implantation?

Bentley111 · 10/04/2019 08:12

Lots of people have mentioned aspirin before but never specified the 75mg dose! Thank god I haven't tried it yet 🙈 what CD did you start taking it @tigsyboo?
