I think you're a week in front of me then, based on LMP.
Mine would be due 13th.

No I absolutely don't either... my pledge to not test until AF was late clearly went well Grin

Kinsters · 30/04/2019 15:39

8 January by LMP but I think I ovulated early so not sure how accurate that is.

It's so hard not to test early! I just don't have that self control

Bentley111 · 30/04/2019 14:52

Thanks @Kinsters!!
Only 10dpo - I was so shocked to see it 🙈

What date would you potentially be due? If everything goes to plan we'd be just a few days apart I think!

Kinsters · 30/04/2019 14:25

It is a good line! Nice and pink! How many dpo are you now?

Kinsters · 30/04/2019 14:24

Ahhh yay Bentley! Tentative congratulations, I really hope this is the one!

Bentley111 · 30/04/2019 14:18

So.... popped to the shops at lunchtime... grabbed a FRER because, I'm a weak bitch and I caved... mid afternoon wee with no hold and there's a good line!!!

Not sure to tell DH now or to wait til his birthday tomorrow... I've got a "happy birthday dad" card from the dogs and horses (don't judge 🙈) maybe I could add from very tentative bean too?

Bentley111 · 30/04/2019 08:49

Lol at "leg wrap and grab" - that's exactly what I do 😂

No idea re the aspirin @DartmoorDoughnut... would be interesting to know though. Fingers crossed you are, and you'll just have a kind pregnancy without the horrible taste 😬

Caved and took a test this morning, BFN, only 10dpo so know it's still very earlier and was an IC not a FRER. The constipation has eased a bit so apart from the cm, nothing is pointing to pregnancy at all... so do think that's perhaps me out this month 😕

DartmoorDoughnut · 30/04/2019 08:18

I’m still giggling at crazed marmoset Grin

No AF yet but feeling a bit crampy, no metallic taste either and I always have had that with both successful pregnancies and both miscarriages so I’m wondering if he daily aspirin could’ve delayed AF? Can’t find anything on google mind you! Will get some tests later today though if the witch doesn’t turn up.

Kinsters · 29/04/2019 16:10

Bentley ahh hopefully that cervical mucus is a good sign!

Wow Rose, it just seems so fast! I don't think my brain really works quick enough at coordinating my body to do skiing very well!

Lol-ing at legs up like a marmoset! I usually put a pillow under my hips if it's fertile time and sit there for fifteen minutes. I don't know what makes it fall out or not, sometimes even if I do the pillow thing it'll start running out anyway and other times barely anything escapes until much later. I think maybe it depends how deep the guy cums. Leg wrap and grab when he finishes lol.

Fingers crossed for you Dartmoor!

Bentley111 · 29/04/2019 15:38

@Rose68 aww yay! Have you got an outfit sorted yet?

@BettySwollocks "crazed marmoset" Grin next time I have my legs up in the air I'm going to think of that....on a serious note though, O-2 is supposedly the best day so looks like you've done the best you can.

@Dartmoor don't buy tests... she will definitely turn up if you do!! That's my rule anyway Grin

DartmoorDoughnut · 29/04/2019 15:30

@Bentley111 and @BettySwoll0cks thanks for checking! I’ve not bought any more tests BUT the witch hasn’t shown up yet, however I’m convinced that as soon as I go to buy more tests she’ll show up 😂 if she hasn’t shown up by the morning I’ll get some then.

@BettySwoll0cks Sorry about the stressful CM situation, any joy with finding a new one? Fingers crossed DTD on CD12 will be enough, I think it should be!

@rose have fun at Ascot Grin

BettySwoll0cks · 29/04/2019 15:19

Any news @DartmoorDoughnut?

DH and I were both exhausted last night and stressed out by the childminder situation so I didn't bother suggesting DtD. Anyway I think it would've been too late, as I had a temp rise this morning so I reckon I Ov'd yesterday (CD14). We DtD on CD12 so could be ok. I didn't use pre seed though and I didn't hang upside down afterwards (I'm convinced most of it falls out after we DtD so I try to lie on pillows with my legs up the wall like some crazed marmoset 🙈) so no special effort made ha ha.

Rose68 · 29/04/2019 14:26

@Kinsters Congratulations! Wonderful news, I’m keeping everything crossed for you this time. My fastest recorded speed was 47mph, but I kept forgetting to turn it on, I don’t think this was my my fastest.

@Bentley111 we are also going to Ascot on the Friday, so I will see you there 😁

Bentley111 · 29/04/2019 13:17

I completely agree Kin. I have just one test upstairs and I'm dying to take it.
Again, far TMI, but I've had really weird cm this morning - milky and creamy, but stretchy like EWCM?? Had a quick google and no definitive answers... can't remember seeing it in my preg cycle but haven't seen in any other cycle either...

Hope DH doesn't ever check my internet history lol, I think he'd be horrified Blush

Kinsters · 29/04/2019 08:11

Yeah understandable Bentley. I'm a serial early tester but being unsure of my ovulation date this time I think I didn't test till AF was late and it was nice to get a clear result. Not that I'd wait in future! I can't stand not knowing. It's taking all my self control not to keep peeing on sticks now.

Bentley111 · 29/04/2019 07:57

Oh no @BettySwoll0cks how stressful! Good luck with finding a new CM & quiet sex 🙈

@Kinsters I'm 9dpo today. I really want to hold out until AF is late to test - it's DHs birthday on Weds & we've got plans over the weekend, so I don't want to put a dampener on things if I'm upset over a negative.

@DartmoorDoughnut keeping everything crossed that is doesn't come 🤞🏼

DartmoorDoughnut · 28/04/2019 16:22

@Bentley111 thanks for checking, I purposely bought no more tests as I think I’m just kidding myself so waiting for AF to rock up, due today or tomorrow, if no show by Tuesday I’ll buy some more! That BBQ sounds v stressful bless you I’d just be honest and say you’re trying but it’s not that easy and you’ll let them know when there is news and to please stop asking as it’s upsetting Flowers

@BettySwoll0cks how stressful! Hope you find another childminder ASAP and manage to DTD!

Kinsters · 28/04/2019 15:03

I'm not in the UK Bentley so I don't know how they do it there. My dr told me after my last chemical to come and see her as soon as I got a positive and she'd give me progesterone and aspirin. Aspirin you can just buy in the shops though (I have 300mg tabs that I cut into quarters and take one quarter per day). Progesterone, there's no spild evidence it works to stop miscarriage that I'm aware of. It's nice to have though for sure (although I've got pills rather than pessaries - not sure how effective they are).

That sounds hard at your nephews birthday. Well meaning relatives can say the worst things.

How many dpo are you? Hopefully the constipation is a good sign!

Omg Betty what a stress, just what you don't need. Silent sex can sometimes be sexy. I know some people really can't do it with their family around though! Hope you manage to work something out.

BettySwoll0cks · 28/04/2019 14:00

Hi all, hope you're having a good weekend. I got dumped by my childminder yesterday 🙈 she WhatsApp'd her 'parents' to let us know that due to a personal problem she's gone, effective immediately! I had already taken an unscheduled week's leave last week to cover her running off to her parents' house but with 36hrs to go before drop off on Monday morning boom, she's gone. Mildly stressful, not entirely sure what I'm going to do.

Thankfully, DGranny is coming up tonight to have DS tomorrow and Tuesday so I have a couple of days' grace. But ... I'm right in my fertile window so I somehow have to convince DH to DtD! Not sure how that's going to go, with his DM in the next room?! Wish me luck......

Bentley111 · 28/04/2019 13:57

Thanks @BettySwoll0cks that's really interesting. 70% of pregnancies ending in miscarriage... what a stat! It really is a wonder that any pregnancy happens in the first place... will order the book this eve.

Great that you've got progesterone & aspirin @Kinsters - did you ask or did your gp give them to you? Not sure whether to ask or not next time given everything. Hope everything is ok so far?

@edidxb yay for a little bump! I can't believe you're 16 weeks already... almost halfway there!! Huge MM fan so very jealous. Glad you had fun. Good luck for Qatar!

@tigsyboo my mum craved fridge cold grapes with me! Cider flavoured lollies is a random one 😂😂

@DartmoorDoughnut has your line progressed?

My godsons 4th birthday yesterday was awful. Babies everywhere... and BFs gran (who is lovely) wouldn't stop asking me about kids. I was doing the little nervous laugh, "not quite yet!" to which she responded "oh but you'd make such a lovely mum & mr Bentley would be a great dad." Blush

TMI but have been super constipated since Thursday. Trying not to read into it too much but that was the first symptom in October.

Kinsters · 28/04/2019 03:01

I'm taking the pregnacare pre conception. I think they helped lengthen my luteal phase (I've read b vitamins do that).

tigsyboo · 27/04/2019 08:51

@Kinsters YESSSSSSSS!!!!! congrats!!!!! I take extra vit d and magnesium too 👍🏼

@DartmoorDoughnut Sorry it was an evap line

Nice to hear from a few others too, hope everyone else is well!

@edidxb I'm fat too! Lol!! Put 9lb on at 13+5 now!
I think it's a mixture of being a little thinner than normal when gettin preggo due to the stress and the fact I go from fine to ravenous in 2 seconds and can't 'put off' the hunger - I HAVE to eat!! Convinced
Some of it is baby tho as i usually put weight on on hips and bum and belly stays flat- but belly is deffo rounder!!
Cravings starting - anything apple/sweet juicy and cold - Asda cider flavour lollies are getting a hammering!! Also fridge cold grapes!

BettySwoll0cks · 27/04/2019 08:42

@Kinsters everything crossed for the next few weeks, that's awesome

@Bentley111 here's the snippet from Starts with the Egg. It's a really interesting book, science heavy but actually really readable. Plus you can skip much of it if you don't have PCOS, undergoing IVF etc. She also recommends a book called Not Broken which is specifically about recurrent miscarriage. I might buy that too 🤔

Kinsters · 27/04/2019 06:51

Thanks Edi! Yay for getting a little bump! It's funny how different everyone is. One of my colleagues had a really noticeable bump at 14 weeks, her first baby as well. Then another didn't show until gone 20 weeks!

edidxb · 27/04/2019 05:12

Oh that's brilliant news @kinsters - I am so pleased for you. Let's nw hope you can get to 18th May OK now. Am hoping for you.

@dartmoor - there was a line there, so I really hope if you test again today it's there a little darker again?

@bentley - well done in the competition and what a little puppy! How exciting!

Thanks for popping in to say hello @rose. I'm pleased you have semi made your peace with your situation currently and I wish you loads of happiness going forward. Do pop in from time to time to say hello. I'm not here much, but do like to pop in once or twice a week to say hello!

@indreamland, thanks also for saying hello. My due day was also 5th July so I'll have a think on that day, but nothing more. I was the same in October when I had my previous due date. I just perservered on through the day but we are all different and need to do different things.

All fine here. I think I am getting a little bump! I don't think it's fat but I have put on weight so can't be totally sure! I am 16 weeks tomorrow. I am also away this week for work - off to Qatar and it's two flights to get there so hoping that's all OK.

We went to see Michael McIntyre last night as he came to Dubai. I love him so much - I laughed solidly for almost 2 hours and it just makes you feel so good!
