How far along are you now Tigsy?

I've had no symptoms (unsurprisingly) except usual luteal phase ones and being extra tasty to mosquitos. They were biting me at 5dpo...perhaps it could be a new kind of super early detection test?!

tigsyboo · 04/03/2019 04:03

@Kinsters deffo a line!!!!!! Wow!! Congrats!!

@Frazzlerock I'm sorry you feel so down.
I ageee that we will see you again and that your DH will get back on board xxx

@edidxb sorry you are having such symptoms... I'm not suffering like yet - I do however need to pee more in the last day or so.....

Kinsters · 04/03/2019 02:16

It is a line isn't it!?!? Now the worrying begins. Yes, 9dpo today so not even late yet. God I want this to be it so badly. I know we all want it so badly - if only that was enough to get and sustain a pregnancy.

edidxb · 04/03/2019 02:09

@kinsters - there is a line!!! I can see a line!!!
Congratulations! How exciting!
Are you 9DPO today?

Kinsters · 04/03/2019 00:44

That's good that your DH is being so supportive edidxb. Sucks about the nausea though. Good luck for the scan on Tuesday

Twittle good luck for your scan today! Hopefully it's just your cervix bleeding.

I have loads of ICs and did one this morning which was a massive BFN but then I caved and did a FRER anyway and there's definitely a line on there!

The July 19ers - The rollercoaster continues, scream if you wanna go faster
DartmoorDoughnut · 03/03/2019 16:13

@edidxb thanks, my fingers are firmly crossed! Sorry you’re feeling so rough, hope scan I’m tuesday goes well!

edidxb · 03/03/2019 14:40

Thanks for saying "hi" @Frazzle. I am so sorry you are feeling so bad at the moment, and I do hope that things will get better for you again soon xxxx

@dartmoor - I think that looks very promising - I really hope the line develops for when you next test.
@kinsters - do you have lots of the IC tests so will you test again using one of those? Wednesday seems a long way away!
@twittle - do you have your scan tomorrow? I am thinking of you and I hope it all goes well.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I really have felt awful. Not actual vomiting but almost all day nausea. My DH to be fair to him has been amazing! He is usually rubbish when it comes to anything but he has walked the dog, carried things for me, not had expectations of me doing anything. I am very pleased. BUT he does seem to have developed a snoring habit in the last few weeks which is waking me up ALL night. I'm giving it a few more nights and then one of us is going to have to move to the spare room.
I am approx 8 weeks give or take a day or 2 as I am not fully sure on my timings. I am having a scan on Tuesday. I wanted to wait until I was reasonably far along so as to not cause the panic I had last time about measurements being behind etc. BUT now I just want to know as if it's not good news I can get on and do something about it......

Hope everyone has had a good Sunday. Glad you had a good time @ratherbe! It's always great to come home though.

Kinsters · 03/03/2019 14:37

Where are you going away to InDreamland?

I'm genuinely thinking of freezing some of DH's sperm next cycle cause he'll be away! I guess it would be damaged in the freezing process (although when I worked with stem cells in university if I remember correctly we just stuck them in the freezer and they were fine). I can't see the harm in trying at least except that it makes me look very weird.

Kinsters · 03/03/2019 14:32

Frazzle Sad I hope you have some real life support from your family and friends. Maybe seeing your GP would be a good idea if you haven't already done that?

DartmoorDoughnut · 03/03/2019 12:59

Oh shit sorry for the crosspost @Frazzlerock xx

DartmoorDoughnut · 03/03/2019 12:51

Glad you’ve managed to go Tigsy Grin

Sounds like a good time away @ratherbeshowjumping fingers crossed!

I’ve done the negative bit, can only see a sliver of a line and think that means it’s a negative, will test again in the lead up to AF and keep on hoping!

Just popping my head in and noticed some worry. Please don't worry. I just can't handle stuff at the moment and not coping whatsoever,
I don't want to rock all the good news and positivity here, so I might stay away until I get to be back in the happy TTC world again. (It may never happen or it could happen tomorrow, I don't know)
My heart is broken into bits once again, and this ongoing emotional pain is getting too much and is making me very ill.
I suppose am lucky that I got to be happy for 7/8 months and experience the joy of TTC and even experience growing my little boy for 9 weeks.

I am thrilled that so many of you are living the dream of a BFP. You all deserve so much happiness.

Love you all and I hope to be back with the Frazzle you met before this shit happened again.

Xxx

Yay for pooping Tigsy! Coffee always works a treat.

I've edited my photo into oblivion and the line is more obvious though still very light. I'll probably wait and try a FRER at 11dpo on Wednesday when DH is back from work (if his work doesn't mess him around again).

I'll give the negative app a go as well!

tigsyboo · 03/03/2019 12:01

TMI.... but my costa caffeine coffee worked a treat!! 💩

@rather glad you have a good hol!!

Those with squint ears... try downloading a negative app... I have one called negative effects- it shows any lines better....
I'll be honest I tried both of them and saw nothing at the mo but it does work.... so maybe keep trying... this was one of mine from the first time....

@Tigsy my brown discharge last time started while straining due to constipation too. ☹️

@Ratherbe welcome back and yay to loads of dtd!

@Indreamland it certainly is possible to have children into your 40’s, I have certainly learnt that in the last year. But I think I talked DH into trying just that little bit too late ☹️

InDreamland · 03/03/2019 11:30

@edidxb it eased good thank you! Nom nom nom.

@Rose68 I love afternoon tea too. Have a voucher still to use from a Christmas present I got so will boon that soon too.

Was lovely meeting my friend and catching up. Was told about her friends in their 40's who've got pregnant naturally and had healthy children so there's hope.

@Kinsters and @DartmoorDoughnut fx for strong lines in the coming week!

I've worked out that DH and I will be away for next FW. Hurrah! I'll be making sure we dtd every day morning and night.

ratherbeshowjumping · 03/03/2019 11:16

Morning everyone, finally back from holiday & catching up through. It was a really well needed break but I am so happy to be home. Living with my DM & DSis for a week was such hard work. DH & I had a nice time together & after his thrush cleared up, managed to dtd quite a bit (although after O) but hopefully we'll keep up the momentum now into next cycle. I've been driving myself mad looking at old threads where people have managed to fall pg at O+1 though 😫

@Kinsters & @DartmoorDoughnut both are looking tentatively positive, so keeping everything crossed for you both! I can definitely see shadows on all of them 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@tigsyboo hope you're ok after your scare & the house buying is coming on well xx

@BettySwoll0cks sounds like you're manic at the mo! I don't know how you'll have time to fit BDing in 🤪 hope you have a lovely weekend with your DS though.

@Frazzlerock hope you are ok xxxx

@edidxb must be awful going back to work feeling like that. I guess you're unlikely to want to tell them too given the history?

Kinsters · 03/03/2019 10:34

I may have line eyes though... Spent so long staring at my own tests!

Kinsters · 03/03/2019 10:23

I can definitely see a shadow on the FRER DartmoorDoughnut so it must look even darker in person. Fx it's stronger in a couple of days!

DartmoorDoughnut · 03/03/2019 10:09

Can anyone see the shadowy line or am I going line crazy again

The July 19ers - The rollercoaster continues, scream if you wanna go faster
Rose68 · 03/03/2019 10:08

@Dartmoordoughnut I’m not sure if I see something or not. I have found with frers you can sometimes see a shadow where the line should be. Maybe try again tomorrow? x

Kinsters · 03/03/2019 10:00

Wow that's a big difference Tigsy! I know what you mean about the worry going to the loo. I was so scared to poo when I first got my BFP cause I didn't want to push the embryo out!

Rose I only have six FRERs to last me until Christmas so I'm allowing myself 1 per cycle where we've dtd at the right time. Gonna give it a couple of days so my one for this cycle isn't wasted! Fx on the house!

DH agrees he can see the lines on the two ics I did this morning but thinks its probably because my pee was really concentrated and so the tests a bit yellow (sorry tmi!) and that's making it look like there's a line or causing some kind of evap line. Idk how accurate his assessment is.

Also hoping you're OK Frazzle and I hope that if you're taking a break it's for your own sake rather than because you think you don't have anything positive to contribute. You absolutely do! You're so sweet and welcoming and have supported everyone so much these past few months. If posting here helps you then please carry on.

DartmoorDoughnut · 03/03/2019 09:42

@tigsyboo hope the lactulose kicks in soon and everything gets moving!

@Rose68 I don’t tend to get +ves until the day before AF at the earliest but I’m feeling desperate to know! I had a shadowy line this morning so everything crossed it turns into a proper line ASAP! I am NOT looking forward to the homework, maths is a total foreign language now, no idea how they do long division!

The July 19ers - The rollercoaster continues, scream if you wanna go faster
Rose68 · 03/03/2019 08:50

Morning Ladies!
@Kinsters why don’t you try a frer? There’s a good chance it would show as positive by now.
@Indreamland I love going out for afternoon tea!
@edidxb that is such good news that you have been feeling so unwell! I know that sounds really weird, but I think you know what I mean.
@Dartmoordoughnut hope isn’t lost yet, I have had bfp’s when I have had absolutely no clue at 10dpo.

Afternoon tea is my favourite thing to do for mother’s day, but no chance of that this year as we have DS2’s party the day before Mother’s Day, so we will be doing homework on Mother’s Day as well as swimming lessons.
We dropped our house price late on Friday and had someone come round yesterday lunchtime, so I had a manic day cleaning and tidying followed by homework. My life seems to revolve around homework!

BettySwoll0cks · 03/03/2019 08:27

Morning all, hope everyone's doing ok. Super busy here but all ok. Am planning for a pot luck dinner next Fri, then Easter Sunday lunch for 14 plus 4 kids then DS's 3rd bday party so I have quite a lot to organise. And DH is working this wknd so I'm solo parenting.

Am generally trying to be more relaxed about ttc tho. I am still charting with OvuSense but then last night I had most of a bottle of Prosecco which has sent my temp whizzing up at CD15, just about exactly when I'd normally expect a temp rise for Ov, so I can't trust my chart at all. Whoops. Anyway the important bit is that we DTD for the next few night and just see what happens.

Fx for a result in the next few days @Kinsters 😀
