@kinsters - I had bleeding this time too. I tested at 10DPO which was Thursday and then I had some brown bleeding on the Friday and Saturday and then it stopped on the Sunday. It must have been implantation so I hope it is the same for you too.

@ratherbe - 9DPO is still very early so I wouldn't count yourself out fully yet.....

tigsyboo · 07/03/2019 12:03

@Kinsters keeping everything crossed for you xxx

Kinsters · 07/03/2019 11:19

Thanks for the support both!

I just want to keep running off to check my pants (feel a bit wet) but we're having dinner with FIL and BIL so I can't.

DartmoorDoughnut · 07/03/2019 11:16

@Kinsters (((((hugs))))) everything crossed

Kinsters · 07/03/2019 11:15

We don't have epu here. I'll go see my Dr in the morning if AF doesn't properly start tonight though.

ratherbeshowjumping · 07/03/2019 11:09

Have you called the EPU/GP?
No idea whether it could be implantation bleeding? Fx'd it's just baby Kin getting nice and snuggly in there.

Kinsters · 07/03/2019 11:05

No cramps but I never get period cramps anyway (except when I started to MC last time). There's enough now that it shows up on the panty liner I put in. Just small spots of brown blood.

Fucks sake.

I don't dare do another test because I'm scared it will be negative.

ratherbeshowjumping · 07/03/2019 11:01

@Kinsters oh no, try not to freak, it's probably just old blood from your cervix. Have you had any cramps etc? xx

Kinsters · 07/03/2019 10:50

Brown bleeding this evening Sad just the tiniest tiniest amount but now I'm freaking out.

tigsyboo · 07/03/2019 10:05

@DartmoorDoughnut just my opinion ... I think I'd regret not speaking about it more than the consequences of talking. No one resents a baby. X

ratherbeshowjumping · 07/03/2019 09:58

I'm so sorry AF has showed up @Dartmoor, I honestly can't believe those tests - I would have taken them as a positive... such a tough one re the snip. I don't know what to suggest, can completely see your DHs reasoning but as @tigsy said, it's very final and he could regret it in 6 months.

@Dreamland I'm so sorry you're feeling so low still.

I feel like I've been hit by a bus this morning. Doing what I can with work but just having a lazy day, DH is wth too today so is able to help me out a bit.
Tested this morning, FRER, I'm 9dpo and not even a hint of a line.

DartmoorDoughnut · 07/03/2019 09:29

@tigsyboo no I completely get it, the problem is he’s Army and very rigid about what is right and wrong, he requested the snip when I was pregnant so I was of course on board. He can’t delay the date any further so would need to cancel it and re-request one in the future which he sees as wasting NHS time and resources. So he’d cancel it if I pushed him to but he’d not like doing it and is here already any point in cancelling it if he isn’t 100% on board with a third? I honestly don’t know what to do, would love to ask him to cancel but don’t want him to resent me/another child if we’re lucky enough to even get another!

InDreamland · 07/03/2019 08:24

@Kinsters thank you. It's hard to not be anxious after mc, don't I know i, I was petrified when I got my BFP in November for our July rainbow. Fx this one sticks though.

@Buggles1 oh no that's so scary. Fx all is still ok for her.

@DartmoorDoughnut so sorry AF showed. That's such a head f**k. I got a very clear line on a FRER (which was way darker than the last 2 days before that) an hour before I started bleeding in November with mc#2 so I understand that feeling.

Still feeling like poo today. Just angry with world and feel like I give so much and work so hard but this is my reward whilst others seem to sail through with no problems.

tigsyboo · 07/03/2019 08:19

I guess I look at the 'what would I regret more' scenario - giving it another 6 months or literally cutting off your chances. In the grand scheme of things a baby a few months later seems worth it.... hope you don't mind me saying x

DartmoorDoughnut · 07/03/2019 08:15

He does want another baby @tigsyboo I’m desperate for one. He’d cancel if I asked him to but I can’t argue with his reasoning, not only that he doesn’t want one (he’d be fine if either of the two miscarriages had stuck but he’s 44 this year and doesn’t want to be an even older dad) plus I’m a SAHM so financially it’s all on him.

tigsyboo · 07/03/2019 08:01

@Buggles1 FX for your sister

@DartmoorDoughnut .... sorry AF cane... and sorry if I'm missing something... but just cancel your DH's apt? Surely he can't be that set of the snip immediately if you are TTC?? What's the rush??

Kinsters · 07/03/2019 07:08

So sorry that AF came Dartmoor, those lines looked really promising.

Hopefully all is fine Buggles, I guess they're super cautious about things like this. Thanks for the article on NIPT, that's interesting.

Buggles1 · 07/03/2019 06:53

Oh Dartmoor, those tests looked to have such portential. How unfair. Guess it’s best to stick to FRER or CB. Fx for next month.

Yes Kinsters, she had the NIPT at the 12 wk scan and all looked clear and fine. Now at 20 wks they’ve picked up these ‘soft indicators’ in the scan. Apparently the consultant will have access to a more powerful ultrasound so they can investigate better. She should hear off them today for an appointment.
I read this article just last week so I’m still hopeful hat everything will be ok for her... www.bbc.co.uk/news/stories-47150878

DartmoorDoughnut · 07/03/2019 06:21

Oh and don’t buy Lloyd’s tests, this was this morning’s that I did, talk about false hope!

The July 19ers - The rollercoaster continues, scream if you wanna go faster
DartmoorDoughnut · 07/03/2019 06:15

Knew I shouldn’t have believed that line. AF rocked up this morning. TTC sucks, one more try then DH has the snip booked in.

Kinsters · 07/03/2019 02:48

Rose and InDreamland so sorry that you're struggling, I don't know what to say but it's shit. I really hope you both get your BFPs soon Flowers

Oh no Buggles, I hope everything is OK for your sister. What a rubbish few days she's had. Did she have the nuchal test at 12 weeks and all looked fine? In Malaysia its pretty standard to get the NIPT done at 10 weeks to look for chromosome abnormalities so if we get that far we'll do that.

I feel the same as you about this BFP. I'm trying to stay positive anyway because I don't want to spend the next 5 weeks miserable only for it to end badly again. Even if I try and not get excited or attached I'll still be devastated if it ends in MC again so may as well try and enjoy it while it lasts.

I did another FRER yesterday and the line is definitely darker. Going to wait till the weekend and do a CB digital to confirm (last pregnancy I got 2-3 weeks at 12 dpo i.e. today but given how the line was still fairly light on the FRER yesterday I think my HCG must be lower this time).

Buggles1 · 06/03/2019 22:43

My sister had her 20 week scan today. I got another picture. I also had to share her heartbreak at hearing there are 5 shadows on her baby girls heart that are soft markers for Down’s syndrome. She has to go back for a further scan with a consultant and perhaps have amniocentesis after that. I can’t believe how cruel this world can be.

tigsyboo · 06/03/2019 18:54

@Buggles1 you absolutely summed that up!
I don't trust my positive test.... I won't trust an early scan... and I don't know where I would be without the support here. X

DartmoorDoughnut · 06/03/2019 18:24

What Buggles, Tigsy and Rather have said 💐 I feel like I’m about to come on and having had shadowy lines it’s going to make it even more ucky to handle

Buggles1 · 06/03/2019 18:11

Seconding Tigsy and Rather... is such a shame both Frazzle and now Rose feel the need to step away. I still feel like this pregnancy isn’t going to last and having the bfp is pretty meaningless. I really would be struggling without this group to come back and forth to. Cause of that and our shared trials and tribulations it felt important to keep everyone onboard and all spirits as high as can be - whatever our stage within the ttc cycle.
Absolutely respect everyone’s decisions though and I really hope the outcome is a positive one for everyone - whatever pathway our journey takes us on!
