Wondering if the people in the group get a notification if someone posts?! Would love to know how you’re all doing

ChikiTIKI · 27/08/2019 06:57

I am doing ok thanks @Carastarchild had family over the weekend come to stay which was lovely. Probably was obvious to them I am pregnant due to how tired I was. Oh well!

Had a GP appointment on Monday last week. He referred me to the hospital for antenatal care and also for an early scan because apparently 8 weeks was quite late for a MC? I had no idea. They were going to request the scan by phone call though and I never heard anything so assume the hospital have said no. But got a letter about booking in appointment a couple of days after the GP appointment.

Good news about your peak showing up on the monitor. Have you had a nice bank holiday weekend?

@Carastarchild that's really good that you're seeing a homeopath. Immune system could be a cause and if it is, I hope they can help 😊 It could just be bad luck...if one in 3 pregnancies end in miscarriage. I don't know whether that's better or worse to hear though!

The ultrasound went fine thanks. The nurse said she's not able to give an official comment and I have to wait for doctor to do that, but she said in her opinion it all looks normal. Should get official comments this week. In the meantime, my DH had another sperm analysis - no comments this time about morphology, but apparently there were "inconsistencies" with motility. Weird, because on his last tests he was at the high end of normal for everything other than morphology (lower than normal). All that really concludes for me is that sperm sampling seems quite random!

I'm cd12 today. Not very hopeful as its cycle 12 and I think I've just accepted we will need some sort of intervention, but keeping up the work anyway 😊

How are you getting on with the fertility monitor? Is it a POAS job?

Carastarchild · 23/08/2019 13:28

@PineappleC how did your appointment on Tuesday go? 💚

Carastarchild · 23/08/2019 13:27

@ChikiTIKI how are you feeling now?, congratulations on getting so far. I hope you can relax a little now and begin to enjoy your pregnancy 💜

@pineapple I made an appointment with a homeopath, who I went to see last Thursday. I believe it is my immune system that is causing the early losses. I pray that she can help me. You are about Cd9 aren't you! I have been following the SMEP plan to a T this month, so I really hope it pays off. I am on cd13 and I am on my second day of peak fertility 🤞

@Carastarchild so sorry to hear your news, that's really crappy 😥 Have you looked into repeated MC at all? The only person I know who had them it was some sort of specific auto-immune issue but think there are a few things they can normally check for. Really hope you're okay anyway xx

I'm on cd4 of cycle 12. Pelvic ultrasound on Tues, and fertility clinic have said they want me to have a hycosy before we have an appt, so that will be in Sept xx

ChikiTIKI · 17/08/2019 06:32

@Carastarchild I think I am 6-7 weeks.

You should use your holidays for fun stuff while you're feeling well and use sick leave if you are ill !!

Carastarchild · 16/08/2019 21:23

How many weeks are you now @ChikiTIKI? I have been holding onto my holidays in the hopes that I can use them if I get bad morning sickness 😔

ChikiTIKI · 16/08/2019 07:08

I am ok thanks @Carastarchild I just feel very sick :( glad it's Friday! Xxxx

OP posts:
Carastarchild · 15/08/2019 23:44

How are you feeling @ChikiTIKI? I can't believe how fast the last week had gone by. I am off to bed. Thankfully tomorrow is Friday 🙏 I am glad my body has seemed to have returned to normal.

ChikiTIKI · 15/08/2019 20:36

Sounds good @Carastarchild wishing you the best for this cycle xxxx

Carastarchild · 15/08/2019 18:37

CD 5 😊 AF is gone mostly, except for a random bit of spotting. I am going to start using the fertility monitor in the morning 🙌 I haven't used it since February, but I just thought that we got so close this cycle that I would use it again.

How is everyone else doing?

Carastarchild · 13/08/2019 23:13

@PineappleC any update? Are you now in the TWW? A girl I work with told me that she found out she was pregnant just before she was due to attend fertility tests.

Carastarchild · 13/08/2019 11:50

Should be 'even more' not ever more

Carastarchild · 13/08/2019 11:49

I feel that my husband and I want this now ever more if that is possible. I hope we won't have a long wait 💜

ChikiTIKI · 13/08/2019 06:34

Ooh that's exciting, the wedding is so close!

I got my BFP the day after a wedding this time around :)

OP posts:
Carastarchild · 12/08/2019 19:21

Depends on when I ovulate of course 😂

Carastarchild · 12/08/2019 19:19

Hi ladies 💜

@LondonKez congratulations 💐 That's wonderful news! I have been attending reflexology and I absolutely love it. I believe it is really helping me. I knew that I was pregnant because my body remembered how it felt.

@ChikiTIKI I am sorry to hear that you had such a tough time last time. Do what you feel best 💜 3 weeks and two days to the wedding 💒 😊 I hope to be pregnant again by then, but I definitely won't be testing until the day after. Don't want to feel upset it it's a BFN.

ChikiTIKI · 11/08/2019 17:38

I am doing well thanks @LondonKez and @Carastarchild

Haven't booked in with midwives. I will go to the GP sometime soon and get referred out of area. I won't see local midwives due to previous negative experience. I will ask to do the scan before the full booking in appointment too. Probably won't ask for an additional scan unless the doctor suggests it, but I don't see the point in doing a 2-hour booking in appointment until we know the results of the scan.

@LondonKez that's exciting about your wedding :)

And @Carastarchild I'm glad you're starting to feel better xxxx

LondonKez · 11/08/2019 12:40

Hi ladies, sorry I've been quiet. I've been trying to distract myself. I am CD10 of cycle 23. I've not allowed myself to test unless I'm later than 7 days, so no idea if I've ever even had a bfp in that time. I haven't done any OPKs, temping or hpts at all since April. We've just booked our wedding for next summer to have something else to look forward to.

Congratulations @ChikiTIKI, I hope things have settled down for you now?
Sorry @carastarchild, that can't be easy, but your husband definitely has the right mindset.
Congratulations @Curlywurly3! So lovely to hear from you!
Little boys are amazing @LauraPalmersBodybag! My nephews are like baby koalas!
@PineappleC how are the test going? Do you have a date for your pelvic exam?

Sending love to you all x

Carastarchild · 11/08/2019 12:08

Thanks @ChikiTIKI. I had a bit of a lie in this morning ☺️ How are you feeling? Have you booked your appointment with the midwife? When I get pregnant again I think I will wait until I am 6 weeks before I contact the GP.

AF arrived today so I am officially on CD1 again. I am thinking of using the clear blue advanced fertility monitor again this cycle, as it let's me know when I have the estrogen surge that triggers the LH surge. Feeling a bit better every day 💜

ChikiTIKI · 10/08/2019 22:12

Yeah it's a lot for your body to handle, make sure you rest and take it easy for a while.

Is it your sister's wedding soon? I was going to ask if you had something lovely to look forward to and then remembered about the wedding! xxx

Carastarchild · 10/08/2019 17:47

Hi @ChikiTIKI I am delighted to hear that everything has settled back down. I had blood tests done a few weeks ago and I searched everywhere last night for the printout that the GP gave me of them. Could not find them anywhere. I am going to ask them for another copy on Monday. I have been in contact with the homeopath and she said that she will get back to me with an appointment during the week. Feeling very tired today, but I suppose that is normal considering what's going on.

ChikiTIKI · 10/08/2019 15:07

@Carastarchild your husband sounds lovely :)

Have you had your thyroid checked? I am going to get mine checked if I have another MC.

I am doing ok at the moment thanks, the spotting has stopped for now.

Hoping your sticky BFP is just around the corner xxxx
