Aawwweeeee congratulations @workinprogressmum !
And what strong lines they are too ... no squinting required there 😂😂

AF arrived this morning for me 😥
26cycles now 🤷‍♀️😫

Anyone else feel like giving up??

HappyGoLuckyGo · 13/03/2019 11:03

Ya, congratulations! Lovely BFP!

workinprogressmum · 13/03/2019 09:37

@Peachyx2505 thank you sweetheart! The lines are even darker now. I was walking my son to school thinking about how nauseous I felt and I was going to do the IC just as a throwaway because I thought it would be too early! Xx

Peachyx2505 · 13/03/2019 09:34

@workinprogressmum awwww 💕💕 what beautiful lines. Congratulations lovely xx

workinprogressmum · 13/03/2019 09:14

Oh my goodness guys, I'm in absolute shock! I thought my period wasn't due for another 5 days.

March bus!
barnburntdown · 12/03/2019 23:33

Coach , that is incredibly shit. Sending some love your way xxx

SunnyL88 · 12/03/2019 23:17

So sad @CoachBombay 😭 you can always try private to get clomid? It’s £44 for one cycle?

goldflakepaint · 12/03/2019 20:37

Just caught up on the thread- @CoachBombay so sorry, please do whatever you need to do to look after yourself and process things. I'm sure a lot of us can relate to the feelings of guilt- it's so important for us to treat ourselves as kindly as we would our friends and recognise that we've done nothing wrong to be in the situation we are in. And its okay to ask for help if needed. I wish you all the best.

Givealittlebit · 12/03/2019 20:08

Sending some love coach, I only just hopped on but sending some stranger support anyway!

Broodyaf · 12/03/2019 19:55

So sorry to hear this @CoachBombay but I agree with the other ladies that u should not be feeling guilty at all.. ur child will be so loved as he is even extra special to you now. At the end of the day all a child needs are good parent, love & support - and I have no doubt you'se will supple all 3 in abundance.
Take time out to yourself to process the info ur GP said today and do not be too hard on yourself.

And who knows what the future holds...

Take care xxx

Michellebops · 12/03/2019 19:49

Coach sorry to hear this.

There is a Facebook group called my first, my last my everything which is full of support for those with one child.

If I don't manage to conceive myself in the next couple of months I'll be withdrawing also xx

Peachyx2505 · 12/03/2019 18:19

I just want to echo what @HappyGoLuckyGo said.

Please don't feel guilty. I was the only child at home when I was growing up and it's not affected me negatively. Please be kind to yourself lovely xxxx

HappyGoLuckyGo · 12/03/2019 18:00

Ah Coach, that sounds unbelievably shitty. So sorry to hear it. Hope your DP can be of some help as you process the info from the GP.

Whatever you do, do please try to not feel guilty about your DS being an only- I've read countless threads on here about how wonderful it can be, both for the child and the parents. Maybe you can get some support there, when you're ready for it? Wishing you all the very best.

CoachBombay · 12/03/2019 17:52

I'll start by saying the GP I saw was lovely, I have seen her before when I was having a problem with my PTSD and she is amazing.

However sadly, it's the end of the road. I'm not eligible for I for pgd IVF as I have one DS. The NHS won't just fund Clomid cycles to force ovulation which I also struggle with as my egg quality is poor due to the genetic issues.

So I'm completely stuck between a rock and a hard place and I have now sadly run out of options.

So that's it, other than a wing and a prayer I have nothing left 😣.

Don't quite know what to make of it all, I'm 29 and done with babies, and I'm at that point in life when absolutely everyone around me is having them. I know o should be thankful I have DS, which I am but I also feel incredibly guilty he will be a only child and it's all my fault 🤷.

So for now I'm just going to step away from the TTC table because quite frankly there's no point. 😢

Good luck ladies, and thank you so much for all the support. Xx

Nell90x · 12/03/2019 16:12

So sorry @CoachBombay 💐 I hope you can find out something useful at your GP X

CoachBombay · 12/03/2019 15:50

Thanks for all your support ladies, hopefully a good chat with my GP about a plan or something will help. I can't just keep going on like this. Xx

workinprogressmum · 12/03/2019 14:24

So sorry @CoachBombay :(

limesoda · 12/03/2019 14:00

So sorry coach, that is so shit

Broodyaf · 12/03/2019 13:41

@CoachBombay this is so so sad.
I'm so sorry, sending you hugs xx

Peachyx2505 · 12/03/2019 13:31

I'm so sorry coach 😔😔 xxx

HappyGoLuckyGo · 12/03/2019 13:05

Flowers Flowers Flowers

CoachBombay · 12/03/2019 12:54

Well "AF" has arrived...joyful. See you on the April bus 🙄

pugmama7 · 12/03/2019 11:42

@CoachBombay I'm so sorry lovely. Let us know how docs goes but fingers crossed everything is ok with your little bean xx

CoachBombay · 12/03/2019 11:08

Well call me synovial but I'll be heading off to the April bust stop. Something's not right, low temps, lighter line on a FRER this morning. So this will be number 17 to add to the basket. Have a GP app at 16:10 so will discuss what I do now. Because quite frankly I'm exhausted of it all and just fed up.
