bunhead34 · 15/02/2019 14:16

I thought I'd start a march bus as I'm def out for feb 👹

Ttc #1
Cycle # 9
I'm 34, H 30

Waiting for cd21/thyroid blood test results next week and will go from there. Had good results on my scan last week.
Can't be arsed with opk/spem/conceive plus Or any of that, so taking the month off. Will just be sure to dtd around expected ov 🤷🏼‍♀️
And continuing with acupuncture.

@Peachyx2505 I know, men!! I've read a bit more about the one step tests, it's those I bought off amazon (feeds the POAS habit without being expensive 🤣)... AF officially due day, some cramping going on already. If nothing by Fri I'll go buy a branded test 🙂 x

dalecooperscoffeecup · 19/03/2019 12:53

Thank you HappyGoLuckyGo!

HappyGoLuckyGo · 19/03/2019 11:26

Congratulations @dalecooperscoffeecup!

I'm still awaiting AF... Day 32, which is the longest any post-baby cycle has been so far. On my way to take a loooong (13h) international flight on my own with toddler DS, so no doubt she'll strike with horrific bleeding and unimaginable cramps in midair 😂 Hopefully not!

Peachyx2505 · 19/03/2019 08:37

@wannabebump awww hope it's a positive sign for you 🤞men eh?

Was it the one step strips? I'm not sure I trust them. When I tested Friday I got a horrible evap..... in the time frame!! I dipped three (😂) so I know it wasn't a positive 🙄 I've heard of them not showing lines too even though ladies are getting positives on other tests xx

wannabebump · 19/03/2019 08:22

AF due today/tomorrow, some cramps this morning but no show yet. Had ridiculously sore boobs for a week (unusual for me) so had hope. POAS this morning with an IC, white as white 😔

Said to hubby last night there was no sign of AF showing her ugly face yet...and he said, it'll probably be tomorrow. Now, that's positivity for you ain't it 😠

Peachyx2505 · 19/03/2019 07:44

Good luck to those still waiting 🤞🤞 xx

Wishful30 · 19/03/2019 07:40

@ale2992 spotting for that long isn't right... I don't think...
if you don't get your positive opk when you're expecting it I'd see a gp.
🤞🏻 your body is just sorting itself out ready for next time x

dalecooperscoffeecup · 19/03/2019 07:20

I thought I'd posted here. Turns out I had, ages ago. Popping in with a faint positive last night and this morning. Now to spend the next 9 weeks panicking every time I go for a wee. Will make an effort to check in more often.

Congratulations to the new BFPs and Flowers to the negatives.

MilkyMum23 · 19/03/2019 00:12

Was feeling a lot of pressure so stepped away from the thread, congrats to all with BFPs and Flowers to all with negatives...

According to both apps I started in the fertile window on the 13th - we have DTD 5 times in the last two weeks which is the most in one month since I got pregnant with my first! Feeling down because it only took 4 cycles to get pregnant on the first, and we only DTD once within that particular fertile window.

Feeling very fatigued as still BFing my 17 month old who is going through leap 10 and I'm not sleeping well at all. The majority of the time I feel like giving up for a bit, but I'm so obsessed with wanting a small gap between babies, already feeling like the gap is getting too big with every cycle that goes by...Sad

Anyway AF due on 29th March so now we wait.

Good luck everyone x

WrexhamBuxom · 18/03/2019 22:51

Hey ladies....I am still sitting patiently on the bus. I'm probably about to get kicked off the bus any day now, but for now...I wait.

Another OPK newbie mistake...I thought you were supposed to drink lots of water, so I did. Now, I read that too much fluid intake could dilute the urine, so I may have screwed up my OPK today.

I think I did the Glow Analyzer probably 8 or 9 times. I was getting anything from 0/10 to 10/10. Looking at the results it is very clearly not a 10/10 (positive.) But my phone/the app seemed to have trouble focusing and the blur created a darker line. I got 5/10 twice, so I settled for that.

I was at 6/10 yesterday, although I didn't think it was as dark as the analyzer said. The line seems fainter than yesterday, so 5/10 is probably legit. I am hoping I didn't miss a surge or anything. My temps have remained steady, no spikes yet. BUT, I am thinking my 5/10 today may have been affected by my abnormal water intake, so we'll see.

Historically, using the pink tests, I usually get a gradual darkening line until I get a positive, but with these blue dye tests, it seems like they might be all over the place. I am hoping for a late OV this month, so I am perfectly fine with a 5/10 right now. I will make sure to dial back the water intake tomorrow, so I will hopefully get a more accurate reading.

ale2992 · 18/03/2019 22:29

@Wishful30 actually af wasn't last week was the week before so spotting has been since then on and off up until yesterday

ale2992 · 18/03/2019 22:23

@Wishful30 I'm pretty sure af came the week before last week, was 4 days late after several bfp, was just lighter and shorter than usual and then I had spotting since it ended up until yesterday. I don't usually get spotting unless it's the day before af.
Opks aren't quite positive just yet but think I'm getting ovulation pain other symptoms that I usually get.

Wishful30 · 18/03/2019 21:50

Sorry @ale2992 😕
I've had about 5. They're all a bit different. Some I wouldn't have know about if I did t test.
If I was a day or two late I had a bit of spotting then a normal af.

This one is weird as I'm due af. My backs been aching as usual. But my boobs have been hurting for a good week or so.
Thought af had arrived cd24 like the last 3, and I ovulated early too so assumed it would. But nothing came of it. Still a tiny bit of brown spotting 🤷🏻‍♀️

How late are you?

ale2992 · 18/03/2019 21:25

@Peachyx2505 hugs right back at ya!

ale2992 · 18/03/2019 21:24

@Wishful30 I've just had a chemical, I had lighter than usual and shorter af than I'm used too but then on and off spotting up until today. Any idea if this is the norm?
Worried it's going to delay ovulation and I'll miss it

Wishful30 · 18/03/2019 21:12

Lol it's ok @Peachyx2505 I'll get there eventually 🤞🏻
This one has just thrown me off a bit really.
I have shoulder pain, so only tested to put my mind at ease from ectopic..
but I'm pretty sure I pulled it in holiday and I keep on agrivating it.. now I'm not so sure 🤦🏻‍♀️

Peachyx2505 · 18/03/2019 21:07

@Wishful30 ahh shit sorry. I didn't match the username to the previous posts then. I do hope it's your sticky miracle lovely xx

Wishful30 · 18/03/2019 20:51

@Peachyx2505
Yeah, I always use FRER but keep having chemicals, until just before Xmas. Just too expensive using a few of them every month 🙄
Not expecting to be pregnant, and as it's so faint I'm guessing another chemical. Just not used to these tests.
I'll see if AF arrives properly when she's actually supposed to!!

Peachyx2505 · 18/03/2019 20:45

Ahh @Wishful30 I do see something....keeping everything crossed 🤞 I've heard mixed reviews on them... I'd wait a couple days and test again.... if you have a similar line then crack out the big guns. FRER are £6 something for two (I did get three in one pack last month!) on amazon.... just saying 😉😉

@Givealittlebit I get ravenous too! 😂 this week I really wanted Nutella our the jar and Philadelphia. I'd have quite happily mixed them together too....
I have no tips on how to not be so focussed. I've just told hubs he'd best be feeling fit from next Wednesday as we shall be going for it every other day 😂

@ale2992 hugs xx

I think I'm out girls. Had a bit of spotting this afternoon... so guessing AF is around the corner. I don't usually get spotting... she just starts... another thing to log on my app and to spend each month looking out for 😂 kinda pants as we had a weekend away together just before Ov.... but never mind, we had a good time 😉 xx

Wishful30 · 18/03/2019 18:44

This is the invert from FF app 😑

March bus!
Wishful30 · 18/03/2019 18:39

Ladies, bit of advice please...

Does anyone use these one step tests?
I've spent so much money on expensive tests, so I got ovulation and pregnancy ones.
I'd say the ovulation ones are good, as they are positive exactly when I expect them to be.
I've not used the pregnant ones until now.

Since my early miscarriage and ibd flare up in Nov/Dec my usual 27/28 day cycles have been 24days. And lighter. I've been anaemic and on meds for a good month.

This cycle I started spotting at 24, then nothing day 25.
Today is day 26 and all I have is a bit of brown when I wipe.
As these tests are supposed to be a 6day early test, I figure it should show up super positive either way now...
but, can anyone else see a faint line? Within 3 mins of taking the test so can't be an evap line. 🤷🏻‍♀️

March bus!
Givealittlebit · 18/03/2019 18:31

Haven't managed to catch up since my original post as it's a lot of chat! Due on Thursday, feel like this month isn't really my month as feeling my typical pms symptoms (aka I'm starving!!)
I didn't expect to be so gutted each month. Our first was a little earlier than planned and now I'm really struggling actively trying and getting so down. Any tips on not getting too focused?

ale2992 · 18/03/2019 17:50

Got a horrible feeling that this isn't my month! Haven't even ovulated yet (I don't think) and just really not feeling positive at all!

MissMooMoo · 18/03/2019 16:11

I just posted on another thread but I think I am more suited here, I seem to be farther along in my cycle than all the others on that thread.

Ttc number 2, have a ds who will be 2 in May. We have been trying for a few months now but trying to be relaxed and not use opks. If not pregnant by summer I will start with them.

I think I am 6 or 7 dpo today

thosethreewords · 18/03/2019 10:38

@pugmama7 I feel the exact same. My body is playing tricks on me! My boobs, chest wall, armpits are all so sore. So is my back! But negative test, so I'm preparing myself for AF tomorrow.
I'm off today so cheering myself up with Workin' Moms (if anyone's needing anything to watch on Netflix, it's quite funny!)
