bunhead34 · 15/02/2019 14:16

I thought I'd start a march bus as I'm def out for feb 👹

Ttc #1
Cycle # 9
I'm 34, H 30

Waiting for cd21/thyroid blood test results next week and will go from there. Had good results on my scan last week.
Can't be arsed with opk/spem/conceive plus Or any of that, so taking the month off. Will just be sure to dtd around expected ov 🤷🏼‍♀️
And continuing with acupuncture.

@HappyGoLuckyGo I didn't use anything with DS.... but I had two ovaries back then. Doing the opk this time is just to ease my worries x

HappyGoLuckyGo · 21/02/2019 13:15

Roughly even spread of those TTC #1 and #2!

I woke up this morning full of doubts about number 2... Number 1 has been sleeping so well lately, and we’re about to uproot back to the U.K. ((currently living in S America), get baby adjusted to nursery, I’ll be going back to work... maybe now isn’t the right time after all... Argh!

Need to reach a conclusion before I see DH on the weekend and next week (we’re away from him atm, visiting family) and FW starts! 😂 But at least the bus has got me thinking about it properly!

Hope everyone who has been ill is feeling better. Does everyone temp/use opks? I never bothered with DS...

Southernbelle2019 · 21/02/2019 11:06

Hi ladies,

Jumping on the bus!

Age 31
TTC #1
Cycle 1
CD 19
AF due 3rd March (fully expected too! Not sure of dates, app telling me FW was one thing, body saying another - I think - and full on flu over everything so a high temp messing up my BBT tracking. So I’m ready and prepared for cycle 2.)

Iilana · 21/02/2019 10:50

Hi lovely ladies mind if I jump on the March bus with you all?

I was on the Feb bus but AF arrived 3days late today. Feel like my body is trolling me.

Age 34
TTC #1
Cycle 2 (officially, unofficially 2 years)
Cd 1

Peachyx2505 · 20/02/2019 17:05

What @HappyGoLuckyGo said! 😂😂 hope you both feel better @ronniemipperton xx

Hi to the new ladies. 🤞🤞 all round! Xx

I had my OPKs arrive today, just going to use the strips for now. Really interested in seeing what my single ovary is up to in there..... I had 4 tumour/cysts removed and my left ovary and tube last July.
I've read so much about having one ovary. Some say it takes over from the missing one and releases every month, others say every other month. Also read success stories of having a dermoid cyst removed (do not google unless you love gruesome disgusting things) and conceiving with no issues and also people who've gone on to have issues.

I've also have problems with my blood. One was discovered during my last pregnancy. Neither affected me last time but I'm worried that they might this time.

Lesson for today......Step away from google Peachy 😂

HappyGoLuckyGo · 20/02/2019 14:44

Spooning is your friend, @ronnie Grin Minimum effort for maximum result!

ronniemipperton · 20/02/2019 07:59

As well as still being ill myself (temperature is astronomical) I’ve now given DH the flu as well and I’ve just got peak on an OPK so going to have to find the energy to dtd somehow... this is going to be interesting (/disgusting)...

Soda123x · 20/02/2019 07:15

Hi, jumping on the bus too :)
I am new to this, getting the hang of it but not sure of all the codes yet.

Age 32
TTC #1
Cycle 2
AF due 14th March

Have a tracker app, which I have been using for about 4 months now, but not doing any other checks ie ovulation tests / temp etc.

Good luck everyone and hope we all get the BFPs we're hoping for xx

Chips81 · 19/02/2019 15:57

Hello

First time poster here :)
Just started TTC and worried my age is against me. Just come off the pill and finished my period so fingers crossed I ovulate this month. I’ve always been super regular though so hoping I’m straight back to normal.

ronniemipperton · 19/02/2019 15:38

Thanks @Peachyx2505. Must say my 30s haven’t turned out entirely as planned. Currently distracted by the mother of all colds (I think it’s probably flu but am trying to pretend it’s not in the hope that I get better faster).

@bunhead34 urgh so annoying, my GP receptionists are the same (and the lead GP at my practice has such a charming bedside manner she’s made me cry on a couple of occasions!). I would say make an appointment with your GP and at that appointment ask to be referred to a specialist who can do further investigation. Your partner will need to get checked out as well if he hasn’t already (done by the GP initially).

That’s about as much as I know about the referral side of things - I did have a referral last May but then got my BFP pretty much the same day (ended in MMC at 10 weeks unfortunately).

bunhead34 · 19/02/2019 14:19

I've just had 21 day blood tests results as 'no action required'. I suppose it should be good news but I'm gutted that there's nothing to be fixed.

What happens now?
Am I supposed to make an appointment to talk to the dr? I've only spoke to the receptionist who was horrible - why are they always horrible?!

Welcome to the new ladies. 🤞🤞

@Zarara I'm going to use opk (cheapy strips) this month just to see how my solo ovary is doing in there. Haven't started yet tho. Have you had a positive? Xx

@MollyD88 and @ronniemipperton I'm sorry to hear about your tough journeys so far. I can't even begin to imagine how you feel. I really hope it happens soon for you both xx

pinkoi · 19/02/2019 07:44

@HappyGoLuckyGo
This sounds familiar! We haven't had the "have we started trying" conversation we have just very pointedly stopped trying not to!

HappyGoLuckyGo · 19/02/2019 01:38

I’ll jump on! I think we’ve agreed to TTC#2... I have some reservations but I think we’ll finally stop our half-hearted attempts at prevention (read: the pullout “method” 😂)

I’m 28, on CD3 and also feeling very crampy and rough. Good luck to everyone, especially those who have been on this journey for a long time...

MollyD88 · 18/02/2019 19:46

@bunhead34 Totally with you over here! I’m training for a marathon and sacked off my long run yesterday after 7 miles (in which I stopped at least every 2 to curse period pain!)

Just about under control now but feeling so bloated and sorry for myself! Hope you’re doing something lovely tonight.

bunhead34 · 18/02/2019 16:47

Eugh I'm having a bad AF, been chomping on ibuprofen.
Was going to start getting healthy today and run home from work, but my tum will
Just hurt too much.

Meh!

Hi @ronniemipperton - recognise your name from buses past! Thanks for the sympathy, need to wallow today. Hope you’re doing well and fingers crossed for you too- sounds like you’ve not had the easiest ride either so far.

ronniemipperton · 18/02/2019 14:00

Welcome all. Sorry to hear you’ve been having such a rough time @MollyD88 - I feel your pain. Beginning of the cycle is always tough with cramps and general AF rubbishness alongside the crushing disappointment. Fingers crossed for you.

MollyD88 · 18/02/2019 10:19

Hello all - can I join too? Been hopping on and off the buses for the last year under various different names!

Age 30
TTC #1
Cycle 19 😩
Cd 1

Losing hope rapidly. Had a HSG this month showing one totally blocked tube - not sure why. DH has low everything with sperm and extremely low motility. We’ve had 3 chemicals, with the last one the month before the HSG. I turn 31 v soon and never would have imagined we’d still be here.

Crampy and sore and tearful today. TTC is shit.

pinkoi · 17/02/2019 11:20

TTC #2 - no 1 is 4.5 yo
CD 14
Age: 36 (argh!)
Month 2 of TTC

First post here but need some moral support as no1 was a whoopsie I have no idea about TTC roller coaster. Got really disappointed when it didn't just work 1st time and realised talking to people in the same position might help.
I realise my age is probably more against me now, but my mom didn't have her first until 43!

Not using ovulation prediction but have a fertility app and an awareness of fertility from cervical mucus.

I am more over weight than I was with no1 although much healthy as I now cycle 40mins every day!!

Nice to meet you all
X

Buster27 · 17/02/2019 09:30

Hi all, hope it's ok to join.

TTC: #2
Age: 27
Cycle: 1
CD: 10

AF is due 14th March if you go by last month, or 9th March if you go by the month before, so who knows! Not doing OPKs/temping etc. so will just assume 14th unless it appears earlier!

Paddypaws91 · 17/02/2019 07:38

Hi everyone

TTC: #1
Age: 28
Cycle: 3
CD: 11

AF/BFP due 7th March. Is anybody trying/going to try anything new in this cycle?

This cycle I'm trying Preseed and if I'm unsuccessful this cycle, I'm going to try the SMEP next - always good to have a plan, right? Grin

Nell90x · 16/02/2019 22:50

Hopping on 😊

TTC #1
Age 29
Cycle 6
CD 3

Good luck to everyone X

Zarara · 16/02/2019 20:53

Is anyone using the cheap opks from amazon and if so how are you finding them. I was hoping I would be ovulating soon but there has been no hint of a second line yet even though I’m cd 13 of a 27 day cycle. Hoping I get a second line soon.

fabmaz · 16/02/2019 19:31

Hi all, can I join

Ttc#1 cycle 2 CD12 AF due 7th March

Baby dust to all 😊
