bunhead34 · 15/02/2019 14:16

I thought I'd start a march bus as I'm def out for feb 👹

Ttc #1
Cycle # 9
I'm 34, H 30

Waiting for cd21/thyroid blood test results next week and will go from there. Had good results on my scan last week.
Can't be arsed with opk/spem/conceive plus Or any of that, so taking the month off. Will just be sure to dtd around expected ov 🤷🏼‍♀️
And continuing with acupuncture.

@ronniemipperton no, from what I've read, the sperm can be there in 5mins and then just sittin about chillin waitin on her ladyship to arrive 😂

ronniemipperton · 26/02/2019 18:43

That’s true but I think the sperm needs a bit of time to swim to the right place too? I think day of ov and day before is meant to be best, though if you’re not sure if you’ve oved yet then definitely won’t hurt to get on it 😜

Broodyaf · 26/02/2019 17:35

Thanks for the reply @ronniemipperton
I think I'll BD again tonite too cos don't they say that from u get a positive OPK it could take up to 48 hours for the egg to reach the sperm?

ronniemipperton · 26/02/2019 17:32

Welcome everyone! @Broodyaf your timing sounds pretty spot on to me - timing matters more than frequency. Good luck!

Broodyaf · 26/02/2019 14:06

I'm in!
Hi to @Peachyx2505 from the February thread!!

I ovulated yday and only DTD yday And day before. I'm telling myself it's not enough but the amount of cycles over the last 24failed cycles that I have bombarded my egg with swimmers and still didn't work I'm hoping I still have a chance this month!

MrsP4 · 26/02/2019 13:41

Please may I hop on the March bus with all of you lovely ladies. AF rocked up here today, here's to March BFPs and Christmas babies 🙏🏻

HappyGoLuckyGo · 26/02/2019 10:16

Not after ovulation but I had it for about 6 months straight of my pregnancy. Bad times! But fingers crossed it’s a good (though annoying!) sign Smile

TulipsTwoLips · 26/02/2019 09:35

Currently 2dpo. A little bit gross but has anyone else developed thrush straight after ovulation? I never usually get it. Dr Google tells me this may be hormone related.... 🤞🏼

LJS8987 · 25/02/2019 21:56

@ronniemipperton sorry for your loss too!
It's horrendous but all you can literally do is keep on trying! I'm less neurotic this time around which can only be a good thing 🤷🏼‍♀️

LJS8987 · 25/02/2019 21:54

@barnburntdown it depends which opk you used...I know the clear blue ones (with the taunting flashing face) use your first test as a baseline so even if you were peak fertile period it would be an empty circle- that's why you have to start to early in the cycle

barnburntdown · 25/02/2019 20:45

Hello all. Think am 1 or 2 dpo.

Question re digital opks. Didn't use opks this month but assumed I'd be ovulating on day 12 as usual. Curiosity got the better & took an opk yesterday (cd12) at 6pm and it showed low fertility. Now I'm thinking if it would be at all possible if I had ovulated 12 hours earlier than that it could show up as a negative opk then 12 hours later ? Only ask as I dtd Sunday morning at 1am. ...

Other than that only did twice in the 6 days preceding. So I have zero hopes this time round. It only takes one swimmer.. but we didn't dtd enough. Sigh.

ronniemipperton · 25/02/2019 20:13

I’m aiming for second week of March to test if AF hasn’t turned up, too 👍

CoachBombay · 25/02/2019 19:49

Hello everyone who has joined, wishing you all the best of luck.

For me I'm post O, cervix is low and firm. So it's just a waiting game now for me. I've decided not to test or wee on anything because I don't know how many dpo I am so it will just lead to neurotic behaviour 😂.

I'll test second weekend of March if no AF by then. I have also decided no more cheap dip sticks because the evaps are intolerable, so I'll just purchase a clear blue digital. But only one! They are too expensive to waste!! 🙈

Gothqueen · 25/02/2019 17:51

Can I hop on please? Had diarthermy on my cervix in Jan followed by AF in Feb so hopefully this month is it.
So far, my DP and I have been TTC since Sept 18 and had a mc in November at around 7 weeks. On every vitamin going and on THE biggest healthkick. Good luck to everyone else on this bus 😊

HappyGoLuckyGo · 25/02/2019 15:27

Finally got around to dtd yesterday on CD9! Little one is poorly so I was up three times in the night and was definitely questioning my sanity in ttc#2... 😱 He’s napping now so will enjoy perusing the photos of the Oscar outfits Grin

TulipsTwoLips · 25/02/2019 09:34

May I join please! ✋🏼

Temp charts, opks, vitamins and gel - we’ve gone for it all this month!

Now 1dpo and waiting....

🤞🏼 for all

sukisydney · 25/02/2019 07:24

(...Although I reckon it's headline news everywhere so hard to avoid!)

sukisydney · 25/02/2019 06:47

@CoachBombay glad you're feeling better, what a scare, glad all is ok.

Anyone else well up watching a certain big Oscars acceptance speech (no spoilers in case anyone will be saving it to watch later...) StarThanksSmile

CoachBombay · 24/02/2019 21:30

Thanks *Ronnie" I'm ok, I just didn't know what the pain was. I was concerned I had an ectopic if I'm honest and for some random weird hpt's weren't coming up positive.

But thank goodness all fine(ISH) been given some co-codamol to ease the pain. Going to have a cheeky glass of gin later and watch the Oscars eating Cadbury chocolate fingers I found left over in the cupboard from Christmas 😂

MilkyMum23 · 24/02/2019 21:25

OK so AF was due yesterday, still hasn't arrived. Been feeling slightly crampy and was really hot in bed last night, so going to do a test in the morning and see. Not feeling too optimistic but only one way to find out.

Read somewhere that a few people's AF was delayed after they started the Seven Seas Conception vitamin so...

Having a glass of wine to relax tonight too, mrsawhite and MollyD88 Smile

Joopy · 24/02/2019 20:57

Jumping on the bus, AF arrived 5 days late. I've just ordered a clear blue ovulation predictor as I fell pregnant first time using one. It's taken so long for DH to feel ready for a second, I'm nearly 40 so I don't want to waste time.

Age 39
Cycle 2
TTC #2
CD1

Dosmamas · 24/02/2019 20:36

Hi girls can I join too,

Age- 33
TTC #1
Same sex using known donor and AI
Cycle #1 for me (my partner was trying up until now but needs a polyp removed 😖)
CD 3
Fertile Window - 6th to 11th of March
Next AF- March 24th

ronniemipperton · 24/02/2019 20:31

Wow @CoachBombay that’s pretty scary! Great news about the ovulation though, fingers crossed for you. Hope it’s not hurting anymore.

Sorry about your weekend away not happening, @lori2019 - I guess it’ll make for a memorable weekend if you’ve conceived :D

And sorry to hear about your MC @LJS8987 - mine (also a 2nd) was around the same time. It sucks. But, onwards and upwards.

bunhead34 · 24/02/2019 19:41

@MollyD88 I think it means the thyroid is under active, as that's what the medicine I got is for!
What was your result?
It's all so confusing!

CoachBombay · 24/02/2019 19:38

Oh ladies I've just come back from emergency gynea ward...I'm having a bit of a nightmare! So AF never arrived and this afternoon I suddenly had a lot of pain in my pelvis region, it was taking my breath away.

Anyway long story short I have mild OHSS from 50mg of Clomid?! 50!! But every cloud has a silver lining from my pelvic scans it's possible I've either just ovulated or may be about to 😂

The OHSS will subside on its own in time and it's only mild (I can't imagine the pain of a actually full blown episode!) So suppose I'm in TWW again as me and DH have been busy this weekend. 🤷😂
