bunhead34 · 15/02/2019 14:16

I thought I'd start a march bus as I'm def out for feb 👹

Ttc #1
Cycle # 9
I'm 34, H 30

Waiting for cd21/thyroid blood test results next week and will go from there. Had good results on my scan last week.
Can't be arsed with opk/spem/conceive plus Or any of that, so taking the month off. Will just be sure to dtd around expected ov 🤷🏼‍♀️
And continuing with acupuncture.

Hi everyone. Using my season ticket to catch the March bus.
Age: 33 (34 next week)
TTC #1
Cycle 13
CD7

I have GP appointment to discuss further fertility testing on Saturday (I have already had some blood tests and an ultrasound last summer). DP is waiting to hear back about booking in SA. Absolutely did not expect to be here but here we are. Trying my best to stay positive and optimistic. Going to use OPK's this cycle as I have been ovulating a bit earlier than usual but generally just planning to dtd every other day until I confirm o through bbt. Trying to schedule it all too precisely has been a bit too stressful and as me and DP may be in this game for the long haul we're trying to stay as relaxed as we can.

@sukisydney I completely agree, I also had a miscarriage in December and feel just as heartbroken as I did then.

tryingtobeamum8 · 06/03/2019 22:27

Joining the March bus... everything crossed!!

sukisydney · 06/03/2019 22:21

Sorry to hear that @ale2992. I had a CP last month and I really don't like the terminology - it doesn't encapsulate the heartbreak you feel having had those BFPs and mentally planning the next nine months, only to have it suddenly taken away. Hope you're doing ok. I have everything crossed for a lucky month for you this time around Thanks

ale2992 · 06/03/2019 21:00

Can I join the march bus? Recovering from a chemical pregnancy and hoping to conceive again this month!

sukisydney · 06/03/2019 20:29

Congrats @PyjamasForever!! 🎉 Wishing you a happy, healthy 9 months ahead! X

We DTD yesterday which I'm pretty sure was about 24 hrs too late (but this is turning out to be a weird cycle so am hoping there's a glimmer of hope) 🤞

Broodyaf · 06/03/2019 15:47

Wow! Congrats @PyjamasForever!!!
That's fantastic news and hopefully many more BFPs to come on this thread

I'm 9DPO today and tested with a IC this morning ... BFN
🙄😥

lori2019 · 06/03/2019 09:44

Congratulations @Pyjamasforever, amazing news!!

TulipsTwoLips · 06/03/2019 09:39

Oh wow @Pyjamasforever ! Massive congratulations!

PyjamasForever · 06/03/2019 09:06

Went out to get a frer this morning. CD24 and potentially around 10 dpo....

DH thought I was mad when I thought I saw a line on the test I did last night, but it's there!!

March bus!
TulipsTwoLips · 06/03/2019 07:58

Sending you Cake @Wishful30 . Don’t give up hope just yet.

sukisydney · 05/03/2019 22:52

@Wishful30 really sorry to hear you're going through a rocky road TTC, sending hugs xx BrewBiscuitThanksCake

barnburntdown · 05/03/2019 20:58

Wishful . Hopefully you'll get some info from the investigations. Unexplained fertility is indeed an unhelpful and catch all term. Take it easy x

PyjamasForever · 05/03/2019 20:34

Oh Wishful. That sounds really difficult. I think the truth is that quite often doctors don't have the answers or the solutions for everything, but that doesn't mean you need to lose hope. Fingers crossed your future tests are okay and you can move forward with IVF if that's what you want.

Peachyx2505 · 05/03/2019 20:18

@Wishful30 😔 I'm sorry. I have no words of wisdom but hopefully the tests etc will give you some answers and possible treatment options along with the IVF. Be kind to yourself xxx

PyjamasForever · 05/03/2019 20:05

Totally valid to go to bed with a hot choc @barnburntdown! I'm going to tuck myself up with a book soon.

Wishful30 · 05/03/2019 20:05

Well, I had my fertility appointment.
I officially have unexplained infertility. Really helpful diagnosis.

My uterus lining maybe an issue, so I am going to have a hysteroscopy, with biopsies and a scrape.
I've had blood tests for anticardiolipid, which is something to do with antibodies that could be causing me to reject my fertilised egg.
And lupus 😑

All these being normal, we are on the list for IVF.

I just want to cry, but I feel so numb about it right now.

Still going ahead with ttc naturally. And I'm going to do everything I can that's affordable to 'increase blood flow' to my uterus, as I'm pretty sure that's how I got pregnant last time.
It's sad that even if I get a bpf, I know it won't last...

What else can I do. I can't fix myself if the doctors have no answer.

barnburntdown · 05/03/2019 19:54

Basically I just want to go to bed with a hot chocolate and Google implantation bleeding...also got z weird stabby feeling on my left uterine wall (at least I think this is where it is ...) #obsessed

barnburntdown · 05/03/2019 19:44

That's brilliant pyjamas!
Tulip I am also 8 or 9dpo and cd22
The brown spotting /dcharge has stopped. I don't wanna get my hopes up after had a little spotting last month which stopped - although that was around 11dpo.

I feel exhausted zzzz

Soda123x · 05/03/2019 19:39

Oooh exciting @pyjamasforever !! Xx

PyjamasForever · 05/03/2019 19:18

So I caved with the early testing.

DH has bought some exciting new beers so before trying I did a test (Waitrose essentials), despite having 500ml of water an hour before... and I got a really faint positive.

I'm somewhere between 5-9dpo and CD23. Period not due until Monday. Cautiously optimistic as haven't had a hint of a line since TTC#2. Will get a frer and test again end of the week.

HappyGoLuckyGo · 05/03/2019 14:39

Well I’m pretty sure I’m past FW and we’ve not managed to DTD as DH is unwell. Not that unwell, I’d have thought, but you can’t force someone. We’re going to be apart for 3 weeks in March/early April so think my next chance will be late April...! Frustrating. Fingers crossed to all those awaiting BFPs/AF...

lori2019 · 05/03/2019 14:00

I tested at 10DPO last month, and 11, and 12... right up to when AF arrived exactly on time. Drove myself round the twist with tests.

Made the decision that there's no tests again until I'm late. Waste of anxiety and time - the outcome won't change. If the test is negative you'll just think but maybe hormones are too low to detect.

It's really hard but try to sit it out, distract yourself.

Of course all this only applies if you are regular.

TulipsTwoLips · 05/03/2019 13:42

Anybody tested at 9dpo? The wait is so hard!

pinkoi · 05/03/2019 13:17

Would you test?

So I had AF which came a couple of days early it's been lighter but it did go though the bright red with bits in phase, so I thought I was out. But as of last night CD3 it just stopped abruptly. Usually flow just tapers off by day 5. Not had this happen before.

I'm wondering if I should do a test just to rule out something weird going on...
