TTC November Baby

So my AF has arrived today but looking forward to having another go at TTC for a baby in November 2019.

Cycle: 4
Age: 34
CD: 1

Anyone else want to join in the same position as we try to get through this next cycle together?

@Lottiepink yeah it seems to be borderline as it's 10 days that's short. I'm probably worrying too much about it!

@thosethreewords thanks, gonna give them a go. 11 days luteal is ok I think? Think 10-14 is normal? Mines normally 12 days. It's maybe the earlier part of your cycle that makes it shorter?

@Lottiepink I take pregnacare original and I don't find they make me nauseous, so you could try them! My luteal phase is 11D (I seem to always start my period on 12dpo)

@Lottiepink I was taking the santogen mum to be ones so similar to pregnacare and they made me bleurgh. So I'm switching to just folic acid and vitamin D ones from boots. Starting them now will be fine 😀

@Peachyx2505 @thosethreewords sorry AF showed up 😕😕 it's so disheartening knowing all your effort ttc was for nothing!

I'm not sure about lengthening the luteal, how many days in luteal do you have?

Could anyone offer me advice please. I'm about to order some pregnacare conceiving vitamins... any reviews on these before I buy them? Also I'm on CD10 today, would I be too late to get started on them? Any advice would be appreciated.. thank you 😊

@Peachyx2505 no I'm also out. AF decided to turn up!
I'm now getting increasingly worried about my short luteal phase, as this is my fifth cycle of 24/25 days.
Has anyone had success in increasing their luteal phase? I'm starting some more supplements today but I'm feeling disheartened that all my efforts may be for nothing if I'm not sticky enough!

Thanks lovely. Was a bfn as expected! Only our 2nd cycle so it hasn't been long

Fell first cycle with my son which was a complete shock. It meant I was 11 weeks pregnant for our wedding 🙈

@peachyx2505 good luck testing tomorrow. How long did it take for you to conceive your son? It was first time for my daughter. I was so naive just assumed it would just happen again

@Explorers10 DH got referred for the SA But all my tests are done with the GP

@flyingplum I have regular cycles so it's not that bad for me really, still haven't got the SA results yet phoned today and they said they should have them by next week even though today is the tenth working day and that's what they say to wait so we'll see, just hate all the waiting, just want to know.

Zilch! Nada! Nothing! Absolutely bugger all!

Going test in the morning tho.... just because I have those cheeky cheapies in the drawer 😂 I'll be 11dpo, had a positive with my son on the cheapies at 12dpo. But I've fully prepared myself for a bfn 🙈 xx

Thanks @peachyx2505 kept getting BFN so relieved AF finally come as getting worried something was up. Not sure if I’m going to be trying for dec baby. AF being this late makes my due date very near to Xmas day which i don’t think I want to be in labour for. Prob take a more relaxed approach to TTC this month

My AF arrived today 5 days late! I reckon I ovulated late as had a bad sore throat around the time I was supposed to ovulate plus I didn’t get my peak smiley face as I ran out of tests explains it!

Well, today's CD28 and I've started spotting so no November baby for me. I charted seriously for the first time this past cycle and my temperatures were all over the place, I quit using the Clearblue Advanced after 7 high days with no peak, and I never saw an LH surge with OPKs. Fertility Friend thinks I didn't ovulate until CD18 which would be a quite short luteal phase, but going by CM I'd say it happened on day 16. Oh well. I guess this has something to do with only being off the pill a few months.

Just realised what you're saying about tests @MrsP4 - I'm having mine starting next cycle too. Though, having real trouble working out how am going to get my 21 day bloods right with my kooky cycle 😂

@mrsp4 good luck with all the tests. Hopefully come back and say all normal and a weight off your mind. Are all the tests done at the gp or did you have to go the hospital for them?

@Lottiepink - I've not tried them ever, because thought they'd just be confusing. But my periods have really regulated over the past year - though I deffo have the odd weird cycle still - so I'm wondering if they're worth a shot. I get other signs of ovulation like EWCM (or at least signs of my body gearing up for it). But I was thinking of getting ovusense, which is based on body temp rather than hormones.

@Explorers10 Still waiting for DH SA results should get them on Thursday he needs to ring GP to get them phoned today but they aren't in yet which is ridiculous why do things always take forever! Having my day 21 bloods done on Monday and then I have a docs appointment next thurs so will find out if I'm ovulating! FX everything is ok but who knows, we'll wait and see, we've just booked to go away for a week in May so that's nice gives us something to look forward to and take our mind off TTC.

@flyingplum do you mind me asking what happens when you do use opk's? My doctor a while ago before ttc suggested I may have PCOS, but I don't seem to have many symptoms. Just wondered if you show the signs of ovulation?
