Just a heads up for anyone using internet cheapies one step hpts
The clear blue is sensitive at 25 and still total negative on the one step which is supposed to be sensitive at 10! Useless! I've tested with them several times and am yet to have a positive- I have 8 different tests all positives!

Been reading a lot about IC as I have symptoms, period is 5 days late and they’re all negative.

I have the Femometer ones from Amazon & looking at the reviews they’re mixed. Hmm

Auroraxo · 16/09/2020 06:51

I took a one step dip test and got nothing. But I got this on an asda test. Pretty sure that's a positive test even though its faint

*this is what I was expecting this time

Fuppy · 22/02/2019 03:27

Just for reference, these pics are one step from DC1, so this is was O was expecting this time...the lightest was on first day of af due, then 2nd day, and the darkest 6 days after af missing.

@Dfg345 I was around 17dpo on the first test of that bunch, each after was 1-2 days after the last, all were FMU. I could see something with the first one, but in the end my worry was that at the stage I was at the line should've been a LOT darker, as it was with DC1, I had to do the FR one for my sanity as I was worried I was having a miscarriage!

Louise392 · 21/02/2019 20:06

I've been testing on them all week and nothing at all, did a frer today and it was bfp so I don't trust them at all.

WombatStewForTea · 21/02/2019 19:15

This is interesting! I've not had a positive One step OPK even though I'd had positive clear blue from the same urine! Can anyone post a link to the ones were presuming are genuine?

Dfg345 · 21/02/2019 18:54

@Fuppy how many dpo were you when you first had your faintest positive one step test

Fuppy · 21/02/2019 18:52

Had some issues attaching the images, sorry! Here they are x

I've said this before. The one step tests were great 3 years ago, then they changed the size and I think put a hell of a lot less dye in them. Mine struggled to show anything days after missed period. I had to buy a FR to confirm. I didn't test at all before period was due, but you can see below in pics the difference.

Dfg345 · 21/02/2019 17:53

I did a one step test today had 3 faint positives with them and all negatives with clear and simple early response. Has anyone had this? Were you pregnant or not?

Definitely sound like fakes then. I also tested positive at 9dpo with these and frer and cb weren't positive until 3/4 days later.

MaryShelley1818 · 09/02/2019 21:25

Definitely sounds like fakes. They always worked perfectly for me and showed my BFP with DS at 9DPO.

Tryingforno2 · 09/02/2019 21:12

@pinkstar01 yep I noticed that when I went back and searched them but the ones I bought had no reviews so I think they relisted them recently so there was no bad reviews underneath! So sneaky! I'm going to contact them tomorrow and ask for a refund and leave a review but I guess they can just keep relisting them I will see if I can report to amazon but I'm not sure if anything would be done x

pinkstar01 · 09/02/2019 21:03

@Tryingforno2 the reviews for it on amazon are all bad ones recently and one woman said she actually put them in water and the control line still came up! So yea they are fake ones I think. That seller should be reported Angry

Tryingforno2 · 09/02/2019 21:02

@pinkstar01 li was wondering if some have been pulled off the market maybe someone has got their hands on the dodgy ones and is reselling them! I thought I was losing it had so many obvious symptoms and just bfn after bfn! I'm sure they might show up positive in a week or so maybe but you buy early response because that's what you want especially if your a poas addict like me 😂😂

@dolphinsanddoughnuts i Just realised when I scrolled back that the snippet only showed 2 tests 🤦‍♀️ sorry was probably confusing as I only talked about 2 of them didn't mention the frer x

And many congratulations to you btw! Thanks for posting xx

pinkstar01 · 09/02/2019 20:55

Ah I needdd to see this! Getting all sorts of symptoms and used a step one test this morning (also from amazon) and nothing. I think maybe the amazon seller is not selling the genuine articles.

dolphinsanddoughnuts · 09/02/2019 20:45

Apologies, could only see 2 on my phone, can see all 3 when I open photo fully now x

Tryingforno2 · 09/02/2019 20:39
