Anyone out there want to join me in trying for a successful Feb?! I’m sure there are loads of us out there can can support and answer questions :)
I’m 35, TTC #2 and have been trying for 4 months or so. My Son is almost 16 months so out of that baby stage which was so much fun (although this age defo has its perks).

That makes more sense Doris, I couldn't remember if I had posted something!!!

Doris19 · 07/03/2019 08:52

@ale2992 yes sorry both!! 😳 too early in the morning clearly!

ale2992 · 07/03/2019 07:54

@Doris19 was the last reply meant for me?

Doris19 · 07/03/2019 07:03

@agteacht I understand they only refer you for investigation on the nhs after 3 miscarriages (could be the rule in my area?). You could ask for a referral to a gynae, or if you have private cover try to get seen that way? You could also look at going to a private gp who may be more likely to refer you. We have one near us and I used it with my toddler, I think it was £50 for an appointment. How long have you been trying? Could ask for a referral on that basis?

ale2992 · 06/03/2019 20:13

Thank you @Doris19

Anyone anymore info or advice on going to a doctor about miscarriage or struggling to conceive. We've been trying since September 18 with 1 miscarriage and 1 chemical during that time.

Doris19 · 06/03/2019 19:29

Really sorry @ale2992 I empathise hugely...it's taken me a week this cycle to get over my bfn. Sending hugs

ale2992 · 06/03/2019 10:42

@Herewegoagain84 I'm ok I suppose

Herewegoagain84 · 06/03/2019 10:35

@ale2992 I’m so sorry to hear that Sad how are you feeling?

ale2992 · 06/03/2019 10:24

@Herewegoagain84 pretty sure my af has arrived and it was a chemical pregnancy, also got a negative test on Monday

Herewegoagain84 · 06/03/2019 10:18

@ale2992 what colour is it? I have also started spotting - but brown. I bled heavily (with no pain) for the first 18 weeks of my last pregnancy and everything was ok - I had two subchorionic haematomas. Don’t worry yet. Do you have an EPU nearby? It is very common to have a bit of bleeding - epescially around the 5/6 week mark Flowers

ale2992 · 04/03/2019 07:33

So I've started spotting this morning...

LG0914 · 02/03/2019 22:44

@ale2992 Oh i see, yeah i can see were you're coming from. I'm trying to wait until the scan to tell people also so will see how it pans out.

ale2992 · 02/03/2019 21:53

@LG0914 mine at 9:15 so unfortunately will have to request the time off, it's not that they can or will say no I just don't want to tell them until I've had my scan at 7 weeks at the earliest if not my 12 week scan. I just feel nowhere near ready for that conversation I haven't even told my mum. Only my partner and my best friend know and my partners best friend other.
I also don't like asking for the time off as I had to have time off during my miscarriage and then for appointments after and I also have an appointment next week.

LG0914 · 02/03/2019 17:33

Thanks!

@ale2992 i've been thinking the same but going to try ad see if i get an appointment before/after work but if not i'll just say i have a gp appointment

Unsureursula · 01/03/2019 09:28

@ale2992 just request time off for a doctors appointment! I work in HR and honestly it’s the norm especially with how hard it is to get an appt!!x

ale2992 · 01/03/2019 08:18

Also does anyone know where I stand with regards to requesting time off for my appointment but not telling them what the appointment is for I just really don't want to tell work yet x

Unsureursula · 01/03/2019 07:58

Congrats everyone!! Exciting times ahead xx

ale2992 · 01/03/2019 07:34

@LG0914 congrats! It's definitely surreal I still can't believe it I definitely thought I was out this month.

LG0914 · 01/03/2019 07:19

Fingers crossed for all still to test!

I did another two this morning and got my bfp!! Still feels bit unreal but so happy.

ale2992 · 01/03/2019 06:26

Thanks for all the replies yesterday, I didn't test this morning! Af should be due today but I've normally had spotting for a few days by now and not feeling any pms.
Definitely feeling pregnant! Ringing my doctors today and have already booked an early scan for 7 weeks.
How's everyone else doing?

Michellebops · 28/02/2019 09:32

Leave it a couple of days. Hcg doubles every 48 hours I think x

ale2992 · 28/02/2019 07:27

Tested again, Lines still there this morning although it's not darker, hoping this isn't a bad thing as it was only yesterday evening when I last tested.

muddypuddlejumping · 27/02/2019 19:11

@ale2992 that's great news!

I've had lots of cramps and pressure today kind of like in my uterus but different from af. Maybe like I need a poo? 😳 it's a bit weird. I'm 11dpo today and have had on off cramping since 7dpo. Also felt quite wet today (sorry tmi!) but had a bfn at 9dpo so reckon I'm out.
Oh the frustration continues!

Unsureursula · 27/02/2019 18:54

@ale2992 woo congrats xx

Michellebops · 27/02/2019 17:31

@ale2992 yay! Congrats x
