Also still here... quietly watching in the wings...
Can’t believe you’ve had such bad luck Twittle re a second accident. Keeping all crossed that everything is ok.
NHS is an amazing creation but it does feel like it often falls short of the desired mark.

Frazzlerock · 31/01/2019 16:05

For ovulation is should be high soft and open - that is prime fertile action. But mine doesn't seem to mean anything as I have a negative OPK today and temps are still boring

You're asking me? The most biologically complicated creature you'll ever meet? haha.
I think (in theory) it should be high and closed (not sure whether should be hard or soft though). Still you can't use that to tell if pregnant as sometimes it doesn't close until 6 weeks plus.
I think you just get used to your own cervix to determine where in your cycle you are

Quick question for you, Frazzle, as you seem to be the fountain of all cervix knowledge... where should it be 1-2dpo?

edidxb · 31/01/2019 15:53

Oh gosh - we have moved onto a new thread!
@Twittle I am so worried about you. When you can, we are looking forward to hearing you are OK xxx

Rose68 · 31/01/2019 15:49

I am 5dpo so definitely not related to anything like that!

Frazzlerock · 31/01/2019 15:29

Feeling sick? I can't remember where you are in your cycle @Rose???

OP posts:
Frazzlerock · 31/01/2019 15:28

Haha @Rose I think you have to check it regularly to notice any changes. Try it over the next week or so and see

Frazzlerock · 31/01/2019 15:27

Oh poor you! You must be permanently sneezing!
I wish I could rely on OPKs - even those are wrong for me. I'm difficult Grin

@Frazzle you have mentioned cervix’s a few times, so I decided to check mine out... well... I clearly have no clue because it always feels the same.

@Dreamland sorry you are feeling shit. Sending you lots of hugs.

I nearly threw up my (usually quite yummy) bean salad at lunch time 🤢

InDreamland · 31/01/2019 15:15

I sure do @Frazzlerock. It does seem to be doing the rounds, most people at work seem to have it or have just got rid of it. DH thinks good that I'm not pregnant as might affect baby. I reminded him I catch colds easily especially travelling on the tube every day and with hayfever it's always something going on with me.

That's annoying when your body doesn't seem to make it clear what's happening. TBH that's why I rely on OPKs.

Frazzlerock · 31/01/2019 15:01

Obs aren't good, what does that mean? They need to scan you!
Oh I don't understand their priorities at all.
I hope you get some answers soon @Twittle

@Dreamland not another one with the lurgies... I hope you feel better soon. And yes AF is such a misery Sad
I took 75mg of aspirin a day with our last one which I had hoped would avoid MC. It was worth a try I guess.

I seem to have watery CM again and high soft open cervix, not that it bloody means anything!

OP posts:
ratherbeshowjumping · 31/01/2019 14:51

That's shit Twittle. I don't understand why they're so precious about scanning - they refused to scan me with my MC last time yet let me take up a bed for a night too. How is the bleeding now? Have you any cramping or spotting?

Sorry you're feeling rubbish too @Dreamland, there's so much going about. Great that they're being proactive though.

InDreamland · 31/01/2019 14:42

OMG @Twittlebee what happened? Hippie you're ok and baby is safe!

Thanks for the new thread @Frazzlerock. Great quote.

I feel so rough! Head cold is so heavy I just feel terrible! Staying in today and working from home. Was sent for more bloods yesterday by gynae consultant to check for blood clotting condition because I moaned and because had second mc. He also told me as soon as I get positive HPT again to stay taking 75mg baby aspirin daily until I give birth. I won't get results though for another 6-8 weeks .......NHS is so slow. AF is making me miserable on top of this sodding cold.

Rose68 · 31/01/2019 14:32

Does that mean your blood pressure is high? Which isn’t a great surprise considering everything x

BettySwoll0cks · 31/01/2019 14:25

Is your DM still with you @Twittle? X

TwittleBee · 31/01/2019 14:11

They won't scan me as they are too busy (yet I'm able to take a bed up....). I asked why I'm here still and they said they said my obs aren't good.

Rose68 · 31/01/2019 13:41

Sending lots of love and hugs x

Rose68 · 31/01/2019 13:41

Why are they admitting you? Is it because of the accident or have they already scanned you?

BettySwoll0cks · 31/01/2019 13:21

Have they scanned yet? If not it's hopefully just precautionary at this point Sad

TwittleBee · 31/01/2019 13:11

Thank you all. I'm being admitted so not sure it's looking good Sad

ratherbeshowjumping · 31/01/2019 13:02

Any news Twittle? Sending you all the hugs in the world xxx

Rose68 · 31/01/2019 13:00

How are you getting on @Twittlebee? Remember the baby is well protected in there. xxx

Kinsters · 31/01/2019 12:20

Oh my goodness Twittle. Thinking of you hope everything is OK ❤️

BettySwoll0cks · 31/01/2019 11:45

Oh @twittle I can't believe it. You poor thing.

Come on universe, raise your game 😡
