Yes, betty Frazzle (I believe I rememebred correctly?) and I have a tilted uterus. It is really common, i think it is like 1 in 5 women have it. It does state online that it shouldn't affect getting or staying pregnant and most women have no clue they have it. (I know I have one due to cervix being awkward and scanning being difficult)

I honestly just swear by keeping all the stuff in for as long as possible and fertility lube after being involved in previous conception threads.

@Betty as well as my stupid ovaries I also have a tilted uterus.
I only found out 3 years ago when having a scan with Emily. DP said it sounds like an extra on a car Grin
Mine is also retroverted and I never really thought about it being a further issue with TTC, given I have had two DC.
I do put my legs in the air though and I have recently started putting my mooncup (which was a pile of crap for using it for what it's meant for) in straight after to keep the sperm from falling out. Although it still seems to find its way out (much like my period) so I'm not sure if it works!

Thinking of everyone with big things going on today/tomorrow, it's all Go Go on this thread! I'm just pootling along waiting to Ov any day now. Still on -ve OPKs but I'll go off for lunch shortly and do one. Have DTD every other day for the last few, but forgot to take my temp this morning so my chart will be pretty much hosed this close to Ov. Anyway, we're doing the important thing (shagging) so cant really do much more than that.

Strange question but has anyone else been told they have a retroverted uterus, or otherwise awkward anatomy? Mine is retro and sometimes I get told at smear tests that it's difficult to find my cervix 🤔 I wonder if maybe that is stopping the sperm getting to where it should?? Are some positions better than others?? I'm pretty sure when I conceived DS it was a time that I spent 10 minutes after DTD with my bum elevated on a pile of pillows with my legs up the wall. Perhaps I should do the old wives tale 'cycling legs'...

So good news, I don't need to have surgery. It doesn't bother me and it could cause more issues after surgery than it does now (which is zero issues) so I decided to wait and see what happens.

I keep reading back on my posts here and realise I keep playing 'Infertility "woe is me" top trumps' which is a bit shit for our group.

I'm trying to be cheerier but I'm losing faith big time.

I'm currently sat in hospital waiting room waiting for my hernia consultation. I might place a bet on my surgery being on or just after ovulation which will scupper any chances I might have this cycle 😂😂

So DH pounced on me this morning before the alarm went off.... I think it was more stress relief than anything else!! I'll take it however he will give it this week tho lol!

They have just gone into court and I'm now waiting in the consult room - my home for the next 2 days!! I'm so stressed!!

My temp was out today as it was after DTD do discarded it. Secret OPK was negative and CBFM was HIGH. Will do another secret OPK later. Xx

@Pegase glad you managed a little ride! Obviously there are risks but hacking/flat work etc, can't see anything wrong with it so long as your comfortable. In terms of DH, "riding" is perhaps a bit of an over exaggeration... he just kind of sits on & walks, can't trot or steer really. I schooled the horse over a good 1.30m course on Saturday then Sunday he tolerates DH poodling around the lanes. Worth his weight in gold!

That chart is rather wild isnt it Frazzle and so frustrating that the temps are low still. FX that as edidxb you might Ov lat post +OPk

How lovely would that be...

I had to have sex with my ex far too many times in 2.5 years to get DC1 Envy -- NOT envy. Actually, 10 years ago today I was also pregnant with DC2! But he was an 11 month slog, with medical interventions, to conceive. I do wonder why some people have it so easy. People who don't even seem bothered about their children Angry

I also get teary especially when I see pics of the DC when they were little and I just wish I was right back there (but without the ex). It breaks my heart and I wish so much I could go back and squidge their little chubby thighs once more.

I keep wanting to cry too, in fact I am crying. 10 years ago I was pregnant with DS1, it was plain sailing. Have sex once, get pregnant, and have a baby. I just wish they would stay little forever.

when is your scan @twittle - is it tomorrow?
@Frazzle - there has to be a chance, I don't think I ovulated until 3 days after my positive OPK.
I got a digital Clearblue on the way home and it says 2-3 weeks. So I guess I am currently pregnant. Will tell DH tonight.
Now I am watching My Crazy Ex Girlfriend (love that show) on Netflix and have just eaten a giant bowl of pasta, bacon and cheese!

Rose68 don't count yourself out just yet. I didnt get any proper pregnancy symptoms till after Af was due (which is the norm really as symptoms pre Af are meant to be just PMS). FX still!

Well I made it into work, feel fucking awful. Was so tempted to call in sick as I ache so much and really crampy again. Just keep crying too. But today is Billing day so it is a busy day - I cannot get away with not being here after having Wednesday-Friday off last week

Cross post Frazzle. I really hope it's positive, I have loads of symptoms but who knows and whether it'll even stick. That's so annoying about your ovulation. For me I normally ovulate the second day after m yfirst positive opk so there could still be time for you? I hope so!
