Just went on my work Instagram & DHs ex's new DP (think I've mentioned before that we work in the same industry) has flooded it with pics of their new DS, born yesterday...

(Not pic on laptop ex/fling!)

Begrudgingly sent a congrats text then ordered myself a large pizza & wings from dominoes & let dh go to the gym by himself 👍🏼

Feeling really shit but hoping a nice treat will cheer me up 🤞🏼

Thanks ladies. DH is very fortunate that his colleague has stepped in for him on Saturday. I am really proud of myself, I didn't get super cross I just asked him how he planned to sort it out and luckily for him there was an easy win. Can't wait for my facial and lunch! Yay 👏

@twittlebee - YAY! I am so happy for you - how emotional! Congrats. You have given me hope.

@ratherbe - I feel fine. I'm not particularly tired, no nausea etc, no acne. Just sore boobs and have almost cried twice in the last days. Things might taste weird but I could be imagining it. But I'm only 4+1 today (I think). The cramping/spotting over the weekend has stopped.

@betty - I don't think you could have done any more - fingers crossed for you. Any news on your birthday outing?

Negative OPK at lunchtime - so that's the LH surge complete! Fx for a temp rise tomorrow. We have DTD exactly 'right' this month, 4 days, 2 days and 1 day before Ov .... I will be so gutted if it doesn't happen this month. How can 2 little weeks feel like such an eternity away? Urgh.

Good news! Measuring 7+5 as expected, saw heartbeat and everything looked good. So relieved!!!! I cried through whole thing, proper mix of anxiety, sadness, joy and relief.

Still tired and really gassy (I've been holding in farts all day!) although less nauseous than the last couple of days. Still no bleeding so no idea what's going on.

I bought some more tests and I'll probably test again tomorrow morning if my temp is still up (I bought some new tests from the mall though sadly no frers here).

@frazzle - yay for ovulation. False false - I think we have hit a new low in the rollercoaster......so it must be time for a new high!

I have enjoyed my 2nd day off. I went for acupuncture this morning, then coffee with a friend who I also work with, then home for some more pasta, then the garden to read my book. Then I did lots of chores like sorting out our TV which hasn't been working, sending emails etc. I have just had a handyman here to put up 4 pictures we have been meaning to put up for AGES. And now I am in front of the TV with a cup of (decaf) tea. Trying not to think that I have 2 more days of work left this week!
