Reckon if I call the hospital dept they will know what it's for?

Lol @Frazzle I would have had a heart attack.

Fx'd there's nothing to panic about. Weird about the letter though!

Frazzlerock · 07/02/2019 14:43

I've just got off the phone with GP receptionist to get results of the swabs (re spotting) and I held my breath for about 5 seconds..

The first thing she said was "Gonnorrhea...."
Then, while I was dying inside, came out with... "clear"
I thought she was telling me I had gonnorrhea! Not telling me the results for the test. Fucking norah, I nearly collapsed in those few seconds. She said I need to have a phone appointment with the GP next week. She said if it was anything serious she would have contacted me immediately so it is apparently just a chat. Weird though that I just received a hospital appointment letter to go to gynea on 21st Feb Hmm.
I did say to the receptionist I felt a bit in the dark but she reiterated it won't be anything serious - I bloody hope not!

What @Rather said @Kinsters. This is such a shit show isn't it Sad

OP posts:
ratherbeshowjumping · 07/02/2019 11:20

I'm really sorry Kinsters Sad everything looked so positive too. xx

Kinsters · 07/02/2019 10:35

Started spotting now so that's me put out of my misery. I'm hoping for a proper period as I'm concerned about my lining thickness (although have read that period heaviness and length isn't correlated to lining thickness/fertility...could be wrong on that one though).

Kinsters · 07/02/2019 10:10

Tigsy no don't worry, I'm already giving myself false hope! The digitals packet says it measures 25mui and is 98% accurate the day before your period is due (13dpo for most people, so, today). I'm still holding out a little bit of hope but realistically I'm expecting my temp to carry on falling tomorrow. I'm back in the UK on Saturday and will be raiding all Boots I pass for FRERs. And reminding DH how much he spends on his hobbies if he objects. Lol

Rose 😂 now you mention it the positioning of my ic hcg tests is really hard because the area you're allowed to get wet is about 5mm high. I really hope you prove yourself wrong...I don't think we can trust anything out bodies tell us.

Rose68 · 07/02/2019 09:59

What is a positioned opk? 😩 I hope you positioned it well while weeing on it 😂
No more tests for me, there’s no point ☹️

tigsyboo · 07/02/2019 09:57

Kinsters not trying to give you any false hope but don't forget the digitalis are measuring 50mui not 10 like a frer.....

Kinsters · 07/02/2019 09:56

Yes, my luteal phase is almost at normal length this cycle which I guess is not a bad consolation prize!

Have you tested again at all Rose?

Rose68 · 07/02/2019 09:46

@Kinsters if you had positioned opks then Ian would have thought they would be right. It looks like your LP is a good length this month, which is definitely a positive. I am 12 dpo today & I’m expecting AF to turn up tomorrow.

@BettySwoll0cks I had a really slow rise last cycle. (1st pic)
This cycle is a quick rise (2nd pic) I've no idea what any of it means!

Oh no @ratherbeshowjumping I'm sorry
I'm sure it will be something treatable. FX

Charting blows my teeny little brains!! Lol
I don't know what any of it means and especially this month where I've had such disturbed sleep and random get up times.

Frazzlerock · 07/02/2019 09:20

Oh @rather that is a worry Sad

OP posts:
Kinsters · 07/02/2019 08:33

Fertility friend says there's no correlation between pregnancy and immediate post o temperatures but you're right and it is a bit worrying that there isn't that immediate temp rise. Like I said, I had the same with my pregnancy chart (though pre o temps were lower). Not sure whether that means it was doomed from the start or whether it means immediate post o temps don't mean much! It's all so confusing.

BettySwoll0cks · 07/02/2019 08:28

Oh yes @kin that's interesting, yours sits just above the cover line for a few days too. I thought it was meant to be pretty immediate because of the progesterone surge. I wonder if that's indicative of something... that'll give me something to Google/ worry about later!!

Kinsters · 07/02/2019 08:22

Rose this is my chart today, my temp rise is slow and my pre o temps were unusually high this cycle so it's hard to see the pattern. I think O could possibly be at 5dpo on my chart cause that's where temp starts increasing. But generally opks have been accurate for me so I really don't know.

Kinsters · 07/02/2019 08:19

Mine is like that Betty, takes ages to get going and makes it really hard to interpret where O day is. With my pregnancy cycle I had a flat temp of 36.5 from days 1-4 post ovulation, it only stared rising at 5dpo.

BettySwoll0cks · 07/02/2019 08:15

DH has been out the past 2 nights so we haven't DTD since Monday. I think next month I'll make sure we keep going every day until I can confirm Ov 🤔

Rose68 · 07/02/2019 08:14

@Kinsters, was there some doubt over when you ovulated? If you did ovulate a few days later than your chart suggests that could explain the lack of AF so far. x

BettySwoll0cks · 07/02/2019 08:12

@rather I'm so sorry to hear about your FIL, hoping for the best for you all

@kin that sucks, hope AF comes soon so you can move on into a new cycle Thanks

Don't know what my body is up to. Was hoping for a nice temp rise, it's proper dragging its heels...

Kinsters · 07/02/2019 08:07

rather yep, more worry and more waiting...

I expected to start bleeding on Monday so if it doesn't start today then I'm three days late. Or is it four? I don't know how you count it.

Rose68 · 07/02/2019 08:03

@Kinsters I’m so sorry, it’s crap how our bodies can play tricks on us. I have had left shoulder pain for the last few days, O’m sure it feels like the shoulder pain I had when I was pregnant. I think that’s why I got my hopes up. x

@Rather I’m so sorry about FiL, we have been through it in the last couple of years and it’s shit. I really hope your FIL will be okay. x

ratherbeshowjumping · 07/02/2019 07:55

Ps @Kinsters how many days late are you now?
