Hugs @tigsy that's really shit. I'm sure she will be the most fantastic nan, and that will spur her on more than ever to keep fighting.
Glad you had a lovely dinner. Mums roasts always are the best!

@BettySwoll0cks my cycles were 26 days pre MC. I've had a 28, a 26 & a 31 since though so god knows. I got a BFP last time in the afternoon after my 10th wee of the day, 12dpo, so going by that, should see a line I think if I was now 🙁 we dtd on cd10&11, & I O'd on cd14 so the chances of it catching are minimal anyway.
Ps. You're certainly not being unreasonable! I'd be fuming! It's not hard to send a text.

That sounds promising @Buggles1, keeping everything crossed. Let's hope this time is different.

Glad you've got all the drugs @edidxb, I think your dh is right on that one. Get all the help you can. How are you feeling in yourself?

Dh & I went for a lovely pub roast, we had a good chat & he's promised me that he'll try harder over FW & I'm not going to go back on the pill. With FILs diagnosis, he's keener than ever to get cracking with a family. So fx'd we'll get something soon. It's so bloody frustrating 😩

edidxb · 10/02/2019 16:20

@tigsy - oh goodness me, I am so so sorry. What an awful thing to get wrong. Of course I meant selfless.......if only you could delete posts I would. I know you know I didn't mean it Blush xx

tigsyboo · 10/02/2019 16:16

@edidxb I think you mean selfless 😂😂
I'm glad the dr gave you stuff, I'm contemplating taking baby aspirin just in case if I get my bfp... I've read it can't hurt but can deffo help. Xx

edidxb · 10/02/2019 15:58

@tigsy - cross posted. I am so sorry about your Mum. what a difficult time for you and not being able to share. That's so selfish. You're both so brave. Much love xxxx

edidxb · 10/02/2019 15:56

@betty - totally unreasonable (of him, not you). My DH is watching the rubgy (as am I, although it's half time now) but he's doing it here with me. I would be really annoyed if he said he was at work and then wasn't for whatever the reason.
@buggles - same. I was just about 60kg and now I'm up to 65kg. Urgghh. But hopefully @rather is right and it will all come off eventually. It's just been a difficult year. Especially after the miscarriage in December and then I went on holiday and haven't quite got it together since. But just had a healthy dinner with loads of veg so that's something.
@frazzle - enjoy the roast chicken and apple crumble - YUM! You really have had a restrictive diet. I'm no nutrionist so I don't know about weight gain but I am sure not eating so many things has to help your fertility somehow.
@buggles - you are right - hugs to you too. But fingers crossed - it will still be exciting!

I went to the doctor today after work. She really is lovely. After my mc I told her that if I got pg again I wouldn't come and see her until 10 weeks and I turned up today at 5! Because my DH said I would be stupid to wait. We decided not to do any blood tests but just to throw all the possible drugs at me as they can't do any harm. So I have the aspirin, duphaston, cyclogest and she is also giving me clexane which is what you get if you have the blood clotting issues. I never got mine tested as I due to go this month but she said just to take it anyway.

Anyway - sorry, not sure if it's OK to write about all that but I couldn't have got through the last few months without you guys and the next few months are going to be really tough too. I'm not going to go back for another few weeks unless there is a problem though.

Rose68 · 10/02/2019 15:52

@Buggles1 how many dpo are you? It sounds promising x

tigsyboo · 10/02/2019 15:48

Rose yeah mum has the big C. It's stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that came back in her brain after 12 years in remission. She doing ok tho... surgery, radiotherapy and chemo.... 9 months since diagnosis and still fighting.
One of the reasons our lost baby would have been so perfect as she definitely would have been here and well in June to enjoy being a nan... also the reason my MMC was a very lonely time as they never knew I was PG so I never told them I miscarried either. She needs to concentrate on her not me so I pretended I had flu for a week.

Roast was delicious!! Had home made rice pudding too!!
I'm one of those annoying types who loses my appetite and loses weight when stressed so despite eating what I wanted - I didn't want much so I've kept my weight down to the size 10 I've always been x

BettySwoll0cks · 10/02/2019 15:38

Ps DH is hiding somewhere watching the rugby. He was meant to be working today but I'm certain it'll have been cancelled due to the weather. Trying not to get irritated but he seems to have turned his phone off as well. I'd rather he'd just said "work is canned, do you mind if I go and watch the rugby at x" (rather than coming home to be with the family) at which point I'd have said "no, go for it". Instead he's just snuck off which I find really bloody irritating. I'm not stupid. Unreasonable?

BettySwoll0cks · 10/02/2019 15:32

@Buggles1 I agree, I couldn't feel happy about being pg because 'getting pg' isn't my problem, it's staying the course. Big hugs I think everyone here knows how that feels xx

Im convinced that my broken sleep is causing me problems, this whole thing with low temps after Ov has made me even more convinced of it. To sort it out though DS will have to start sleeping though the night - he'll be 3 in May and it's rarely ever happened yet. Not a great deal I can do about that, at least, not quickly. Sad

Buggles1 · 10/02/2019 15:28

Struggling with weight here too. Was 56kg before the two mcs and Xmas, now at 61kg and hardly fitting in any clothes. Want to exercise and diet again but don’t want to do anything to risk a pregnancy either. Feel stuck in limbo just waiting to be pregnant again.
On that note, I seem to be getting good pregnancy signs but won’t be able to check until the end of the week. Almost feel scared of seeing a positive test.. as if just waiting for the inevitable mc. They really do suck all the joy and excitement out of it.

BettySwoll0cks · 10/02/2019 14:56

should get something on a FRER at 11dpo shouldn't I? Not necessarily @rather, how long are your cycles usually?

You're all making me hungry with this talk of food, but I've put on a fair amount of weight over this year also. It's on my tummy and hips and a bit on my arms too (I'm an 'apple' at the best of times) and I think a lot of it has been down to not exercising, which I'm nervous of doing in any meaningful way. And the rollercoaster of being pregnant 3 times in 12 months, hormones and comfort eating.

ratherbeshowjumping · 10/02/2019 13:25

It is really quiet on here!
Jealous of everyone having roasts today, we're still waiting for a new part for our oven so can't cook one... may actually be a nice wife & treat Dh to a pub one, a Sunday just isn't a Sunday without one.

@edidxb Don't berate yourself for putting on weight! Think how much you've been through the past 12 months! I think it's only normal. You'll have plenty of time running after a newborn in 8 months to lose it xx

I'm feeling really "pregnant" today. My boobs are huge & killing me, I'm so bloated/constipated, nauseous & I'm absolutely shattered. Crampy legs have completely vanished too. Did a test after a 3 hour hold & again white as white BFN. If I was, I should get something on a FRER at 11dpo shouldn't I?

Rose68 · 10/02/2019 12:46

I’m off to run up and down the stairs until the family return from swimming lessons....

Rose68 · 10/02/2019 12:46

@Tigsy I’m so sorry to hear about your Mum, I can’t remember if we already knew she was having chemo. Obviously you only have chemo for one thing 😢

Rose68 · 10/02/2019 12:44

I can feel I am putting on weight too despite healthy eating. I’m obviously not trying hard enough cause I had started to lose weight before I got preggers in October. And that was supposedly following the same healthy eating plan.
I haven’t started exercising properly following the mc, which I really need to get on with, exercising is good for fertility, but running isn’t apparently. And I tend to run.
I have made a lasagne for our dinner later, which obvs isn’t very healthy at all!
I have mentioned smep to DH, his eyes lit up like a little boys would in a sweet shop. Maybe we will give it a go this month.

tigsyboo · 10/02/2019 11:34

I love a roast!!
Mum is on her no chemo week so she is doing a roast dinner today which I'm really looking forward to, I love her cooking!

After the DH's strop about smep plan he really did pull it out of the bag I guess with BD-ing.
I think now I've got to make the effort to keep the momentum up during this TWW because otherwise it's clear it's just about that.... but quite honestly I was happy just to get in bed and go to sleep last night!!! I will make an effort too... even if it is to prove a point I don't really mean!! 😂😂

Rose68 · 10/02/2019 11:27

Sorry for being quiet x

Frazzlerock · 10/02/2019 11:26

@edidxb if it's any consolation, I've cut out loads of crap from my diet to help my fertility. Virtually no sugar at all, very little gluten and if I have it it's whole grain, no dairy (except butter if I have toast), and no caffeine.
I basically live off seeds, goji berries, oats, soup, and a low GI meal at night. No alcohol either. And guess what? I've fucking GAINED weight. And I'm gaining it daily it seems.

I used to be a size 10 and am now a 12 and manage to wear some of my old 10's but nothing fits me now and I'll be damned if I start buying 14 clothes (slippery slope) . I'm so pissed off with my body. I ate a lot of bad stuff over Xmas and didn't move so expected a bit of weight gain then. But I figured when I went back to routine I'd lose it. But I'm getting heavier and heavier. It's so depressing 😓
I may as well start eating shit again.
I've got this tyre of weight around my lower abdomen and thighs and I hate it, but nothing will shift it.
I miss my lovely flat tummy.

Anyway, talking of diet, ROAST! Yes I will be making a chicken roast as I can't do anything else 😂
Normally, for me, I would bypass the gravy and Yorkshire puds and stuffing and basically all the lovely bits but I seriously CBA today especially now I've ovulated. And and not losing weight anyway so I am going to enjoy it today. I might even buy a lovely apple crumble and custard!

Then back on the "Healthy but makes me fat anyway" diet tomorrow 😂

I use 4 different devices (!) to use Mumsnet and have only just signed back in on my work laptop.
@frazzle a roast dinner sounds amazing - what kind are you going for?
@tigsy the timing looks great and I think unless there is an issue with low sperm count then it doesn't matter how often you do it.
Good work with the FRERs @kinsters - that should keep you going for a while. You can get some more on the way back through too maybe!?

I'm at work today (Sunday-Thurs working) and it's been a long day. It's 3pm and I've still got loads to do before I go home. I am wearing a shirt today and I feel it has been constricting me all day. I have put on so much weight in the last few months, a lot of it miscarriage and fertility related. I feel I really turned to food and alcohol as some kind of crux to get me though and now most of my clothes are super tight. My blouse is a size 10 but even breathing in it is painful. So it's a bit of a wake up call to really cut down on the crap food I have been eating recently.

Frazzlerock · 10/02/2019 10:17

Morning!

I agree @tigsy it has been super quiet lately. It was mega quiet on BreachGate day so I thought it was due to that.

We are TWW pals though I'm 3 days further along. Same, there isn't a time where we don't worry is there! I was stressing pre ov that I wouldn't ov anytime soon and if I did we would miss it. Then worry that day before ov wasn't enough and, like you, worry they were in their armbands 😂. I've resigned myself to expect AF to avoid disappointment quite frankly, but I know I'll still be a mess when AF arrives.
But with your chart, you've BD'd loads over ovulation so you've got an excellent chance!
I don't know if frequency affects the boys, I would be really pleased with that chart.

I've managed to worm my way out of football duty this morning by offering to clean the kitchen and go to Sainsburys for roast food. Phew!

But instead I'm on MN 😂

Morning all
Is it me or is it quiet on here!

Sounds like a lovely day @BettySwoll0cks! I could do with that!!

We had a day chilling yesterday too, it was pissing it down so we stayed in with the dogs having a relax!
Watched Bohemian Rhapsody last night, it's VERY good!!

So FF has put lines on my chart and predicted my Ov was CD 15. Coverline seems a bit high though?? I thought it would be lower than that?? Anyway the BD seems pretty well timed ... but now I'm concerned that there wasn't much recovery time and what if he was firing baby sperms up me who are still in armbands?? Is it possible to NOT worry??

@Frazzle, gutted for your DS but a trampoline park does sound a lot warmer than a wet, windy sideline!
Absolutely do not understand the love for football at all, DH is the same about Spurs... goes right over my head...

Congrats on picking up the FRERs @Kinsters, have a safe flight tomorrow (I'm so jealous!)

@Betty glad you had a lovely time!

BettySwoll0cks · 09/02/2019 21:10

I'm cheating really, it was a pre-birthday treat but it was lush. 75 minute super moisturising facial (I was basically a husk when I went in) and head/shoulder massage followed by a really lovely lunch. Surprisingly tiring being pampered like that! I'm off for an early night.... x

Kinsters · 09/02/2019 17:21

Happy birthday Betty! Hope you've had a lovely day.

I'm in London now having one night here before we go off to France to ski. I'm now the proud owner of 6 Frers! I wanted to get more pregnacare but there was none there.

Frazzlerock · 09/02/2019 17:00

Enjoy your birthday treat @Betty!
I wish I could help you re your chart. What a minefield all this is 😓

How are you feeling today @Rose?

I'm currently sat at a trampoline park. DS2 was in tears earlier as his match was cancelled due to waterlogged pitches. I was so relieved, but felt guilty for him so we are here instead.
Tomorrrow's games are also looking to be called off for same reason so DS1 will be upset too.
DP has gone to Swansea to watch a match the nutter. It's a 5 hour drive! And he's coming home after! I don't get it.

I hope everyone else is having a good weekend x
