oh that is lovely Frazzle ! I hope we all get to be like that too with our BFPs and a lovely FB group together

TwittleBee · 13/02/2019 13:30

edidxb yeah I feel like we were all the chatty ones in the July board and the Sep threads for me are only really just picking up pace now...

Strangely, only 2 people have left due to MC so far from the Sep board.... really surprised at how low that has been. Swear it was like 1/3 of the July board got wiped out?

Good luck with the performance btw!

Aww I do totally feel attached to everyone on here too! Just really hope we all stay in contact for a little while longer, would be lovely too if we actually all did live close by to meet up for a proper chin wag

Frazzlerock · 13/02/2019 13:26

@edidxb that is so lovely. I hope we don't give up the thread.
I am still friends with my TTC MN group from 11/12 years ago. We all got our BFP in the end so all have very similar aged children (9/10 years old). We all went over to FB and stayed in contact there. We only had one meet up as we all live so far apart but it was so lovely to meet all the babies we were all so desperate for. I have met up with one of them lots of times and we are still really close.

I like to think the same thing will happen with our group Smile

I'm having a very quiet day at work today and I am here for a performance tonight which doesn't start until 6pm.......urrrghhhh.

I have grown very attached to everyone on this board. I have looked at the antenatal club for October on the talk boards but it is super quiet - only 140 posts or so so far. There is one on the Pregnancy board for October too which is busier at 690 but I'm just not sure I have the energy to invest!!

I almost don't feel like joining one in case I have a miscarriage again so I don't really want to talk about being pregnant as it makes it more real and then I get more invested and then potentially more upset if it all goes wrong. But it's nice to be with a group so you can compare symptoms etc.

And I like everyone here so much! I appreciate that at some point we will all give up the thread but hopefully once we all have BFPs and successful full term pregnancies.

I think I am feeling super emotional today hence such a weird post by me! I never even used Mumsnet until I started TTC after my first mc last year and then I joined the 35+ 1st child thread which was good, then the July 19 board where I met all you lovely people and now this thread which has helped me out SO much from December onwards. I genuinely care about everything that happens to you all, and I hope we all have positive endings in the near future.

So I don't know where I am going with this!! Other than to say I am still here, I think I'll read the October boards and maybe join in a few weeks, but probably not.....

Right, one hour to go until the performance starts!

Actimels are yummy and are similar to yakult, I have problems with thrush, but not for the last year as I’ve been having actimels every day, also I suspect the amount of supplements I have been taking has helped in keeping it at bay. When I get it, it’s bloody horrendous, I can’t imagine thrush just being a little tingle.

BettySwoll0cks · 13/02/2019 10:42

Ok so @frazzle is 9dpo, I'm 8dpo, @tigsy is 7dpo. Anyone else coming close to D-Day?!

I have to admit I'm not really feeling pg, I think I'd normally be feeling a bit woosy by now - although I can't really remember with DS how I felt at this stage, too long and too many mc's ago! My lower tummy is still a bit tender and fluttery but honestly that could be anything.

tigsyboo · 13/02/2019 09:56

I don't mind Yakult... it's not a gin and tonic, but not evil either lol! X

ratherbeshowjumping · 13/02/2019 09:44

@tigsyboo nope nothing, just sat here cramping away. I did another test this morning on the off chance, BFN, which I've made peace with so didn't cry (gold star for me) just wish it would hurry up.

Yakult is awful 🤢

Frazzlerock · 13/02/2019 09:39

@tigsy Hopefully I won't get it again. Yakult is vileness!

I agree it is hard not to symptom spot. However, I am finding this time easier as I've made peace with not being preg. Anything I do get, I put down to progesterone or coincidence/made up in my head.
Like I have been having mild leg cramps in the evening when I finally get to crash on the sofa. I wonder if I am making it up or it is just that I have leg cramps from sitting badly or something. Or the major deep sleeps I've gone into lately where DP doesn't even wake me (highly unusual as I'm a very light sleeper).
Cycles before this, I'd have gone "OMG..." Not this time, I have wised up to my joker of a body!

OP posts:
tigsyboo · 13/02/2019 09:31

Also @Frazzlerock I have thrush on occasion and find a week of yakult sorts it out x

tigsyboo · 13/02/2019 09:26

Morning all

@Pegase I really am thinking about you, I'm sending you positive vibes!

@rather any sign of the witch??

Re the high OPKs have you thought of getting some internet cheapies to test on night too??
Last cycle I had no peak on cbfm but cheapies showed clear surge one night.

I'm currently 7dpo
Desperately trying not to symptom spot!!
I'm convinced that blooming lady comp thing doesn't take an accurate temperature either. I might go back to the cheapy bbt from Amazon next month. X

Pegase · 13/02/2019 09:12

@InDreamland I ov'ed on day 20 so had about 13 days of high with no peak so there is still time!

ratherbeshowjumping · 13/02/2019 09:07

@Pegase is it not worth just a phonecall to the midwives? I'm so sorry you're going through all of this. Is your dh being supportive?

Lol Frazzle, I bet you're rattling at the min! Good on you taking so much though.

@InDreamland, I think it's normal to have so many flashing days. I haven't experienced it but lots of women on here do. I wouldn't be concerned, just keep BDing xx

Frazzlerock · 13/02/2019 09:03

@indreamland could you just ovulate later than usual? Is that normal for someone without hormonal issues?
My ov date goes from CD14 up to CD32 so far (since I have been tracking). Though I've never used an OPK with flashing smileys, only the piss sticks. So far, I have had about 2 LH surges per cycle

I'm now 9DPO and can't even think about testing. I wouldn't put myself through that. Nope, like I did last cycle, I will wait for AF to tell me I am not pregnant.

OP posts:
Rose68 · 13/02/2019 09:00

@Indreamland what was your AMH?

TwittleBee · 13/02/2019 08:59

oh no Pegase what a bloomin horrible scare and anxious time for you. I am so so so sorry that you have to go through this uncertain time. I really hope that all is fine with your little baby. I know how you feel regarding the EPU Sad Even if you do go and get checked out there is then the wait that they make you do til the next scan before confirming a MC. Not wanting to get hopes up, as reality is best I believe in these situations, but it really is 50:50 so can go either way. I had spotting again this time and all, touches wood , looks to be fine.

InDreamland dont lose hope, you might not get a chance to use all 6 because hopefully you will just need one to see a BFP!

Frazzle thrush is super odd, I suffer with it quite a bit actually (but I am a proper sugar fiend and I know the rest of the women in my family suffer from it regularly too...) but strangely even when I am not having any symptoms I will flag up positive for it when tested. I was on the creams etc constantly last couple pregnancies.

Betty oh yes birthday BFP would be lovely! FX

oh sorry you are having shit AF cramping Rather

Rose68 · 13/02/2019 08:59

@Indreamland I think the OPKs can miss the surge sometimes. Both times that happened to me I got pregnant with DS1 and DS2.

@Pegase I would definitely go to the epu, but FX it turns out to be nothing & all is ok in there.

InDreamland · 13/02/2019 08:39

@Pegase please go to the EPU. I hope it's nothing and your little bean is getting comfy in there.

@betty do you think you will hold out until AF is due or will you test early? Fx for you this cycle.

Bit worried about this cycle, I'm now CD15 and still having a flashing smiley. Might not ov this month Sadthat's 7 days now of high but no peak as started flashing on CD9 which is the earliest I've had on a CB OPK. The stick when I took it out of the holder has a faint line on it last night and this morning. Starting to panic now after the positive AMH results.

Typical as I've stocked up on FRERs - Boots 3 for 2 offer for the double packs. Thought it would be good to have 6 in the house in a moment of madness and now I bet I'll never need to use them.

Frazzlerock · 13/02/2019 08:33

@Pegase I so hope it all turns out fine for you.
Re doing everything right, I did too with Popsy so I understand your anger, but maybe it will be okay. Easy for me to say though Sad

I don't think I have ever had thrush before so I hope this isn't a new regular thing! Although not sure I'd know about it tbh as I didn't really have any symptoms.
I don''t think I can possibly take anymore supplements and meds. I take ten tablets/capsules per day plus powdered inositol and folate in my drinking water, 12 tabs/capsules when taking EPO between AF and Ov. It's a full time job keeping on top of them all Grin

OP posts:
Pegase · 13/02/2019 07:10

Feeling v angry though. I did everything right this time. No caffeine , no alcohol, pregnancy vitamin every day all right from conception.

Also @Frazzlerock if you do end up prone to thrush, probiotic capsules are v helpful in addition to the flucanazole tablet.

Pegase · 13/02/2019 07:08

Good luck with the testing Betty FX for you!

Sadly more brown discharge this morning. Still holding out on the EPU as they can't do anything anyway if it is going wrong. I'm only 6 weeks pregnant. Again.

edidxb · 13/02/2019 06:31

@pegase, I hope things have eased off for you a bit this morning.
@betty - that does sound mildly promising.........what are you doing for your actual birthday?

Pegase · 12/02/2019 22:16

So no more spotting since this afternoon which is good. It was exactly like this last time though. Thought it was nothing and then after a few days of hardly anything the proper bleeding started. Will see if there is any more in the morning and then make a decision. Last time it was worst in the morning after overnight. Trying not to think about it to be honest as I feel like someone has punched me in the stomach whenever I do.

Hope everyone else is having a better day!
x

tigsyboo · 12/02/2019 21:27

@Pegase how are you hun?
@BettySwoll0cks FX for you xx

BettySwoll0cks · 12/02/2019 20:45

Probably nothing @rather. AF normally due next Mon/Tues but since it's my birthday on Sat I might do a cheeky test then, just in case.

Sorry you are being tortured by your own body 😔 hopefully once AF starts it'll ease up a bit x
