@Yukka @InDreamland @Lilimum6 to be honest on the aspirin I've done so much research and there's very little to suggest it does harm at such a low dose, admittedly not much hard evidence to say it definitely helps either. I've emailed my nurse to ask her what new evidence there is so I can see the reason why some doctors are now saying this as I can't find diddlysquat published. If she can point me in the direction of the evidence Then I'll prob decide for myself based on how confident I am in the research. It seems so much of miscarriage treatment is based on the opinion of the dr you have rather than agreed evidence based info. I still feel that it could be the answer for me (at 39 and a half and with a family history of clotting issues) and frankly I did it the drs way last time and still lost my bow - I need to be in control if there's a next time. I'm the doctors worst nightmare!!!

10dpo today for me and the really strong symptoms that had me going I'm deffo preggers two days ago have eased off...so who knows. Going to have to frer test tomorrow. I can't wait till Tuesday.

I'm finally ovulating! It feels like such a long week of negative OPKs, felt like it was happening this month!

You know I’m thinking about the aspirin, I’ll dig out dr regans book tomo as there is a whole section on the clinical trials they did. I think I remember age being a factor, so I wonder if us older mums to be are being told to take it and then others aren’t? I’ll check and report back x

@InDreamland it's fine. They will only transfer one as I am under 37 and they always want to reduce a multiple pregnancy where they can due to possible health risks. They will transfer two if over 40. If we have extra blastocysts on Saturday we will freeze them.

@Boboelephant that is so exciting! Do keep us updated. Sorry if this is too personal, you don't have to answer, how many get transferred?

@Lilimum6 I understand how you could be torn and now I have the info I'm wondering if I should or shouldn't. Both NHS consultants I've seen recently told me to take baby aspirin as soon as I get BFP but I don't yet have diagnosis of blood clotting. They told me it won't have adverse effects but can only help but now with the info you've shared I'm a little apprehensive now.

Thanks @Laney79 and @Newbie21. I probably should have explained that they are graded between 1 and 4 with 1 being the best. This is due to how the cells divide and means that mine have divided into equal cells and there is no fragmentation- which is good!

I've just paid £256 for someone to stick me with a needle. And I'm needle phobic. And then I realised if I am pregnant already I'll most likely have to cancel as I'll prob start taking baby aspirin which will mess with thrombophilia results. Gah

@KnitKitty that's frustrating that you are still waiting for answers. Hope you get some soon. I know what you mean, I feel like the people in my life who have had a MC then went onto have a healthy pregnancy the next month, hardly anyone has had an ectopic and only one other friend is experiencing infertility. I talk to her a lot!

@TinyPaws I know what you mean. I wanted something fixable too and hearing there is nothing wrong is bittersweet. I'm finding my response to IVF amazing but part of me is saying if you have been producing good eggs which have been fertilising with good sperm, why hasn't it worked?? I'm glad there is nothing hugely wrong though and hope your next cycle is your lucky one!

@Lilimum6 so glad to hear your consultant was great but so sorry it looks like you have to have surgery again. It's so unfair how it drags on.

CD33 and still no AF. And BFN. I'm so fed up! What's going on with my body! And why this cycle of all cycles! IVF is planned for this cycle. Still waiting

@TinyPaws couldn't agree more on the men front! Because of my phobia I don't easily trust medics, and have to feel in control as much as possible so my own research is very important. I get fed up of me/my family being seen as a condition by medics rather than a whole person with feelings and contributing issues. I'm not a geriatric want to be mother with 2x miscarriages, I'm a woman who's heartbroken and doing her best to hold it together!

@Laney79 I've been using the Thriva ones because you can get it as part of a thyroid package that includes folate, B12 and auto antibodies. There is a discount from Thyroid UK. Next time I will use a cheaper one though as the recurrent miscarriage clinic has just checked my thyroid antibodies (prior to that the NHS refused to do it) so I don't need those tested again.

I've lost faith in the doctors (especially those at the fertility clinic, the ones at the recurrent miscarriage clinic have been quite good so far) so doing my own research is really important to me. Honestly I think if men were the ones who physically suffered miscarriages the research and care would be far more advanced than it is now!
