so hoping this month is lucky and we Valentine's Day brings us bfp's. Using opks and hoping for a static this month as opposed to last momth which was a nightmare.
Who is with me??? Smile

Sorry that you have horrid cramps and trapped wind :-(. Just try and remember it's all for a good cause xx

BLS1983 · 31/01/2019 13:28

Same here @Gilly2505 how exciting. Just had a tonne of ewcm. We dtd last night and just asked hubby what he thinks of going tonight and tomorrow too. He may have moved out by the time I get home
From work haha xx

Gilly2505 · 31/01/2019 12:00

Think I may be ovulating today.... cramps! 😭 either that or I have a ton of trapped wind 😂 how’s everyone getting on?

Baba11 · 30/01/2019 22:31

@CaramelCluster
Thanks for the reply. I think you are right is dependant in sleep patterns. As there are so many things that can cause your temp to fluctuate.

My opk picked up peak Monday evening but my temp reckons that I ovulated Sunday!

I do remember on Sunday i had less sleep so this prob affected it. It's Lanka learning curve I guess

@Baba11 both are good ways to inform you of different things going on in your body - OPK is great for testing your LH surge so you know when to BD, BBT is great for letting you know you have ovulated (spike after ovulation) so I personally wouldn't use one or the other.

BBT can also show you if you're potentially pregnant - you have the implantation dip which MAY occur around 8-10dpo I think (don't quote me on that and this doesn't happen with all women) and if your temperature stays up past the 2WW that can also be a sign of pregnancy.

BBT is a tricky one for those who don't have a consistent pattern of sleep (if you wake up at different times for example if you have mixed work shifts) it can give you odd results. If you have a regular schedule then I'd say it's very very good for what I've explained above. I'm using it and finding it really interesting, so curious to see if people get an implantation dip if they're successful!

justsparklex · 30/01/2019 19:25

I've never done bbt tracking, so will be interesting to see what others say Smile

Baba11 · 30/01/2019 18:02

@Kins00 sorry to hear she turned up hun but at least your not in limbo anymore
Fingers crossed for next month.

Do you ladies find bbt tracking is more reliable than opks? Xx

AF has finally showed up on CD40... I am both happy and peed off to see her!!

I've got a thermometer and more OPKs on order as who knows what my cycle is going to be this month!!! Hoping it will be lucky number cycle 7 for me!!

justsparklex · 29/01/2019 19:42

Oh good good, I still feel like I've got some hope then GrinThanks baba11 sending you lots too!! I've just had a very dark second line on my opk, darker than the control line! Never had one like that before. I've got my fingers crossed for us all x

Gilly2505 · 29/01/2019 18:30

Haha it is a big age gap!
We’ve had a sh*t 6 years where life decided it wanted to chuck all this crap at us and it’s never felt like the right time for another baby! Tbh DS was our little ray of sunshine that has kept us all going. And now we’ve decided to stick a massive middle finger up to the bad times.... it’s time for some happiness. 😀 xx

Baba11 · 29/01/2019 18:27

@justsparklex
I agree with previous
That sperm stays in system for 5 days so you still have a chance and yeh jump on him when he gets back 😂

Sending you lots of baby dust xxx

Gilly2505 · 29/01/2019 13:46

Caramel-not quite in the two week wait yet here! I know I’ll be going crazy tho....

justsparklex how old is ds1? Mines 6 😮😮 dunno where the years have gone! X

justsparklex · 29/01/2019 11:52

It's our first month trying too. I didn't get pregnant straight away with ds1 so I'm not expecting it either. Even more so now we can't dtd on ovulation but still keeping my fingers crossed Grin

CaramelCluster · 29/01/2019 11:00

Good luck to you ladies! How is everyone feeling this early into the two week wait?

Gilly2505 · 29/01/2019 10:40

And I’d just dtd again when he gets back to cover all bases 😂 fingers crossed 🤞
Thanks lovely... it’s only our first month trying so not expecting too much xx

justsparklex · 29/01/2019 10:31

Thanks for replying gilly2505! I really hope so. Hope this is your month too Grin

Gilly2505 · 29/01/2019 09:51

I reckon so! Those little sperm live for up to 5 days! Xx

justsparklex · 29/01/2019 09:26

Hi everyone, can someone give me some advice please! My ovulation day is Wednesday and managed to DTD Saturday night, Sunday night and last night. However DH is away now until Friday. Do you think I still have a good chance?Sad

Gilly2505 · 29/01/2019 08:32

@sal1987 eek 🤞🤞

sal1987 · 29/01/2019 08:25

@Baba11 well I have taken another opks test this morning (I leave for work very early so have been up enough hours already!!) and it's a lot darker than it was!! Hopefully will get a positive later today or tomorrow which is pretty much when it was predicted!!

Baba11 · 28/01/2019 22:44

@sal1987 probably was too diluted
But if you are dtd every day, up b covered. Fingers crossed. I know how you feel tho it's hard don't the time when hubby on shifts
Hoping baby dust is spread between us all

OP posts:
sal1987 · 28/01/2019 21:53

@Baba11 no I used the urine when I got home from work but I had been to the gym and drank loads of water!! It doesn't make masses of difference though because we are dtd every other day but would just be nice to know so when to expect AF if it arrives!! Sending baby dust your way though!!
