Bfp or AF due 14th feb!!

so hoping this month is lucky and we Valentine's Day brings us bfp's. Using opks and hoping for a static this month as opposed to last momth which was a nightmare.
Who is with me??? Smile

Hi everyone I’m new. TTC first. Came off pill July 2018. Took 4 long months for first bleed. Had lots of acupuncture. First cycle was 36 days . Then went to 26 day cycle. Very concerned we did not try at right time this cycle as did not update my cycle length as it was 10 days shorter than last cycle. And didn’t start using OPKs until it too late this cycle. Really don’t know if we timed it right this cycle . Feeling bit gutted. But no Flo yet and haven’t done pG test yet don’t want to see negative. And now on cycle 3 TTC either flo or positive due on Wednesday 6th February.

I'm really crampy too baba11! I hope it's a good sign for us 🤞🏼 I don't usually cramp until I'm due on. Hopefully it's not our powerful minds x

@Sleepyquest maybe it was just too early to test some people don't show up till when they are 7 days overdue. Sending you lots of positive thoughts

I had abit off cramping but trying not to symptom spot too much.plus I'm not even sure what dpo I am. 🤷🏾‍♀️

@sal1987 I reckon you will be fine and have caught ov! I think I ov’d Thursday as I had cramps and the only time we dtd before that was on the Tuesday. 🤞🤞

Just took my first ever frer and it was negative of course! Felt like a kid on Christmas waiting for it

Well, I'm out again! I've just been put on medication that can cause serious problems for a pregnancy. So I'm going to have to miss my ovulation tomorrow. Good luck to everyone else. Hopefully I can try next month, off to Google.

@sal1987 I'd say if you had the ecwm and a strong line that sounds like good signs. Even if you did ovulate bit later sperm can live for 5 days so hopefully you will be covered. The body can be a weird thing and I got cramps 2 days after I got my static but dh didn't have energy to do it again, so I understand completely. Not much else I could have done just got to think positive

Baba11 I'm going to try my best to hold it out but it drives me mad!! I know that it's not always accurate that early, keep telling myself that.. but I bet it won't stop me😐😂 I'm the type who pays for early gender scans too.. I'm just too impatient haha.

Eek not long till you test then either Gilly2505! Sorry to hear about your ovaries. I'm sure you still have as much chance as the rest of us Smile I'll keep everything crossed for you!

Sal1987, sorry I can't really give much advice.. if you got an almost dark line on Tuesday but wasn't as dark or darker then I'd say that was a negative, but when I got an almost dark one I got a very strong positive a day and a half after. So you must of been pretty close to catching it. I suppose all bodies are different though. At least you've managed to Dtd lots!! Fingers crossed for you x

Hey everyone. So I'm a bit confused, it's been a strange week with work and personal life, had stupidly long days and not reliably tested using OPKS and when I have been able to my urine has been quite diluted. I got a almost dark one on Tuesday morning, dtd Tuesday night and last night thinking I probably ovulated on Wednesday but today I have had some sharp pain in the left hand side of my back and some cm. does that mean I have ovulate today? DP is done in this month as we have dtd every other day since Saturday so can't make him do it again tonight, I just don't know when to record day one from!! Day 14 of cycle was on Wednesday so predicted it was then! I'm not looking for answers just having a ponder!!

My remaining ovary should work and work in place of my missing one according to my surgeon. I’m guessing it’s working as it should as I’ve had no signs that I’m heading for the menopause!

@Gilly2505 sorry to hear you have problem with your ovaries. Think we take our health for granted sometimes and don't realise we r lucky to have 2.

@Baba11 yes if you ovulate early you will have a shorter cycle, so I’d go 2 weeks from when you ovulated!

Eeek! That’s only a week away 😍

I’m working Friday and Saturday (night shifts) that weekend so I may test Sunday afternoon when I wake as that will technically be my fmu.

I feel the same sparkle! We fell first time with DS I’m so sure it’s going to be a longer journey this time, being older and an ovary down.... plus my remaining ovary was tampered with!

So if u ovulate does that mean a shorter cycle because my app has decided to cut short my cycle to 21 days when I'm norm 29 day cycle. Meaning they saying I'm due on in 7 days. Surely that can't be right 🤔

Well I think I'm going to first test next Saturday, I'll be 10dpo then. Af due Valentine's Day so I'll probably of used all my tests by time it gets to then, so I should be certain 😂 I don't know why but I have a strong feeling I won't be this month, feel like it will take longer than the first time around.

I’m not sure when to tell DH! Last time I waited 4 days and approx 67,083 tests 😂 just so I was 100% sure.

If I do get my BFP, I'm thinking of tell DH by putting the test inside his Valentine's Day card. Little bit cheesy but I think it would be a really nice surprise 😍

@justsparklex dunno how to deceive it maybe because it was first time I used it. Sorry about tmi but it just felt very slippery and didn't enjoy bd as much. If that makes sense 😬
