Period 4 Days Late, Negative FRER

Morning all,

I have a 31 day cycle on average, longest cycle ever was 33 days but I’m now on day 35 and since we started TTC this month, I took an FRER this morning but it’s 100% bfn (photo attached)

I have no pregnancy symptoms at all but no incoming period symptoms either which is weird because usually even if I’m a day late I feel bloated and uncomfortable.

If it helps anything I’m 28, we’re TTC for the first time and I’ve never been pregnant before so have no idea what I’m doing Blush

What’s happening? Could I be pregnant despite the BFN or (as I suspect) is it late enough in my cycle for a FRER to pick it up if I was pregnant?

Help!

You have Bette Elaine eyes than me but actually now you’ve said it I think I can see it, is that not a evap though? Photo was taken a good 10 mins after?

It might be just my eyes but if I tilt my phone in different directions I swear I can see a faint line? You may just be very early op? Or it might be my eyes 😂 leave it a couple of days and then do another FRER!

If you ovulate later in your cycle than normal, af/ bfp will arrive by the same number of days 'late'. I had my second longest cycle ever 1st months of ttc. Any change or disruption can make you ov late - it's not uncommon and there are always threads asking about it.

Only time will tell!

@My3boys9910 that frer has a line. Test again in 48 hours, by which time the hcg will double if this one has implanted and is growing normally.

Hi...ive had 3 children (im also 28) and im still clueless to tests and what ifs...Its usually best to track your ovulation day...you can get an app called flo...It will log your periods and give you ovulation day estimates...and you can do ovulation tests to clarifyvthe day better...then you can count the days after ovulation to better help with pregnancy testing...ive been trying to conceive dor 4 months...And am 2 days late...done some tests and a few have faint lines...some have none...:( still no period and im so confused as to whats going on...Im wondering the same as you...should i have a definate strong psoitive by now at 2 days late??Very stressfull...Flowers
