anyone due to be ovulating week starting 21st Jan?

Good luck everyone! I didn't have any symptoms that were any different to AF so don't count yourself out yet! Today was my expected AF day so many trips to the toilet checking, nothing as yet so hopefully I can soon celebrate my BFP will test again Sunday with digital just need to see it in black and white so to speak.

I'll be sticking around if that's ok after my miscarriage I am under no illusion this will be easy/result in a healthy pregnancy so not getting too excited just yet

I'm really sorry to hear ladies @WildFlower2019 @Chanel05 - we're overdue a BFP! 😩

I'm at 10dpo at the moment, with hardly any symptoms (ones that I can differentiate between PMS anyway) so will see what the next few days bring.

Oh no @Chanel05 and @WildFlower2019. Hope next month is the month for both of you!
I am still symptom spotting like mad and eyeing up my packs of FRER...doesn't help DS is sick so I'm off work with him and have nothing to distract me....pretty sure it's not my month though, just a feeling.

I think next month for my sanity and my bank balance's sake, I should stop the early testing. I might ask DH to change my amazon and eBay passwords so I can't buy any more FRERs.

It is heart breaking seeing negative tests and I'm wasting so much time and mental energy scrutinising them, Googling etc.

I'm 12dpo today and the only symptom I've had this TWW is light cramping yesterday, which is normal at this point in my cycle, so not feeling hopeful.

Going to hold off POAS until at least the weekend when I'm officially late.

@wildflower2019 😁 thanks. Definitely cd1 today. Period pains woke me up an hour before my alarm and I couldn’t sleep through them so i can safely say that I’m on cycle 8. The suspense must be driving you insane with spotting gate! Did you doo a cheeky poas?!

@chanel05 what a bloody bitch that AF is. I'm not one for violence, but I'd punch on the nose for you for you if I could, hehe.

I don't think I've been to the loo since around 6, so I'm debating wasting using another FRER before bed. I know it'd be negative and I know I'd waste use another in the morning, but I literally have ZERO self-control.

I've had several pains today. A couple of stabbing pains low down on my right side notably, but also some crampy "AF is imminent" feelings. Not had any more spotting since this morning... maybe the most tiny tiny tiny "did I imagine it" bit this afternoon.

STILL not getting my hopes up though. I have a feeling the spotting will be more prominent tomorrow and then full AF on Weds.

@wildflower2019 are you going to test again tomorrow?

I think the spotting is entirely down to af being a total bitch and keeping me stuck in a cycle where I’m definitely not pregnant before I can start the new one! 😂

@KatnissKringle I’m a bugger for peeing on OPKs even though I KNOW it can mean either BFP OR AF. I literally don’t know why I do it. I’m addicted to peeing on things and obsessing over them. I think we need to join POAS Anonymous! Haahaa!

@ster2019 sorry for your BFN. FX that it’s too early for you and you get a BFP tomorrow or Weds. How many DPO are you? x

@chanel05 thanks! Do you think the soy could be making you spot or get AF early? I seem to only spot at ovulation time when I’m taking my pregnacare tablets. Noooo idea why. I figure my hormones are affected by all the extra vitamins and iron I’m getting…

@HMIB I’m still baffled 😂 I wore a pad for hygiene but I’d say it was more of a usual discharge in the pants amount today just as a brown colour. I’m taking soy tablets so wanted to do them on certain days so I guess I’m gonna assume that tomorrow is cd1 maybe as my temp was still quite high this morning and I usually have raging period pains the first day of red blood. Guess I’ll have that to look forward to tomorrow.

BFN this morning, was too early to test and wasn’t a FRER so I don’t why I did it!!! Ergh think just had such a good weekend that I was positive thinking a positive! AF due on Thursday, I have zero symptoms, only impatience for something to happen

@HMIB hope so! Wish I hadn't done it though!! I must sit on my hands til Friday now.

@KatnissKringle there's 2 sides to really dark opk's when you know you are not ovulating. And it either can detect HCG or you can get dark lines when you have your period. So totally no help! But let's hope it's the first one!! X

To curb my poas craving I did an opk...the test line was really dark! I ended up googling and coming across a pages long thread with someone who had the same and it ended with AF so now I'm really doubtful about this month! Doh!

TTC for 11 months, very long cycles with possible PCOS. I have recently started accupuncture and had 2 regular(ish) cycles, which compared to just 3 in 9 monthes last year is amazing in itself.

I think I ovulated on 23rd Jan and AF due on 7th, if i get lucky have another normal cycle.

Going to test on the 6th, i dont test early as its been tough getting BFN for 11 months.

@chanel05 I believe the general rule of thumb is that cycle day one is when the bleeding requires the use of a tampon/pad/cup.

Incidentally, I think my "cycle" varies so much in my app (27-31 days) because some months I've recorded spotting before my period as light bleeding so it sets me at cycle day one and others I've recorded it just as "spotting". (I have 18m of data from before I was TTC, it was just to help me predict my PMT!!!!)

BTW... no more bleeding/spotting today. TMI ALERT: I literally had one small blob in my CM this morning when wiping which reminded me of my implantation bleed last time. Then I had a more watery spot an hour later (which could have been diluted with urine when I wiped). Absolutely nothing since... I am 100% crossing my fingers that it was an implantation bleed this morning (11dpo). But I'm keeping realistic... It'll be my period starting won't it (due weds/thurs and I can spot beforehand!)

@Chanel05 I class cd1 as my first full day of bleeding. Even if it's only light. But I never spot it's either constant or not. So it might be more interesting to hear for some one that spots to see what they do! X

Ladies, how do I know if I’m on cd1 or just spotting in the lead up to cd1? I feel like I’m losing the plot 😂.
