Thinking it will never happen....

I’m due to ovulate in the next few days.
I have regular 29 day cycles, get EWCM, confirm ovulation by temping.
Been ttc #1 for 7 months and have never had a hint of a BFP.
I genuinely feel like I will never fall pregnant. My husband thinks there must be something wrong with us! I keep telling him it can take a while.... etc but that’s just me trying to sound hopeful. Inside I’m falling apart! Every month after ovulation I feel slightly positive then AF hits with a bang.
I just wanted to know if there was anyone else out there who felt so convinced it would never happen and got their happy ending?
I know 7 months isn’t a long time compared to some people - but it’s just how I feel right now (that it won’t ever happen). Why am I feeling this way!? Help please 😥😥

@Tacotuesdayfan I remember driving myself crazy with it all, it just totally consumes you. 4 months in is so so early… data shows most healthy couples conceive within one year of trying. Good luck in your journey! X

that’s amazing news! Congratulations! I’m still pretty early in the ttc journey tbf - just in 2ww of cycle 4 now but been off deppo for 3.5 years and not always careful and LH strips don’t seem to go dark until cd22 (29-30 day cycles usually!) so sending myself crazy hence the historic thread stalking hehe. Thank you for coming back to me it’s wonderful to hear back from these old threads with success stories ❤️🙏

@Tacotuesdayfan hi, I have two daughters now. First conceived after 8 months born Jan 2020 and second conceived after 1 month born July 2022. Hope you are ok. X

@Tacotuesdayfan I was originally on this thread. I actually fell pregnant that cycle but I had a mmc at 9 weeks.

I fell pregnant again in December 2019 and had my daughter in September 2020. I had my son in December 2022 after 8 cycles of trying for him.

@chanel05 I’m not sure why my cycle has all of a sudden became four days longer! I don’t know if it’s to do with hormones or what? I’m worried that by the time I’ve ovulated the egg would be old or what!? It’s so stressful. I told myself this cycle I’d be calm and I already feel myself going mad!

@Marshmallow1992 weirdly enough I also ovulated 4 days later than usual! I did another cycle of soy which made me late. Ovulated cd22 so 4dpo. Tww madness for us begins again!

@chanel05 Hi, how are you? I don’t know what happened last cycle but this cycle I have just ovulated. 4 days later than what I would have normally! I didn’t ovulate until CD21 this cycle which is odd as every other cycle since ttc I’ve ovulated CD17 so I have no clue what is going on. That’s me about 2dpo now so the manic tww continues. How are you doing this cycle?

I don’t know as there was a couple of tests with a definite faint line! I’ve never had a hint of a BFP before so really unsure. I don’t even know this month because of how messed up it was last month. I’m going to just dtd every other day and try and chill a bit this month and see where it leads to. I’m so exhausted with it all ☹️ How are you this month? Doing anything different? Xxx

@chanel05 I got a few very faint BFP but I didn’t get my hopes up as I knew they were so faint! AF arrived four days late so I’m really confused what went on as I’m never ever late. Just need to plod on again this month!

@chanel05 I’m so sorry. I took another test the same one as yesterday and it’s just the exact same as yesterday’s test. A mega faint line. No AF either so I’m totally at a loss as to what’s happening. I’ve only been a day late one time! And that was only like 2nd/3rd cycle. Always like clock work so really unsure. Just wish I knew as I’m exhausted thinking about it.

@Marshmallow1992 you’re not out till she shows! What was the outcome? I am definitely cd1 now. Af cramps woke me up at 5am in excruciating pain.

No it hasn’t arrived! Not even a spot. Thanks for your messages ladies. I’m just worried as it should definitely be darker than that being 13dpo especially on a sensitive test. I have another test I’ll use tomorrow. Good luck for next cycle @chanel05 I think I’ll be on another cycle too as can’t see this leading to anything 😭.

I’ve had a little bit of light blood today so I guess that makes me cd1 of cycle 8 😔

@chanel05 has AF appeared? Well ladies I took a digital today and got not pregnant but I also took a sensitive Lloyd’s chemist own brand! I got this - what do you think? Can see it a lot more in real life..... I’m so puzzled as I’m 13dpo today and IF it is a BFP should it not be a lot darker? Still not convinced though.... just wish I knew either way as I’ve never had a hint of a line on any test.

Thinking it will never happen....

@chanel05 it’s the fact it’s disappearing is making me think it’s not 😭. So heartbreaking! Yes both from the same box! I’ve emailed first response to ask what it means so I’ll update on here what they say as I’m so intruiged!

@Marshmallow1992 you must be pregnant surely?! They say there’s no such thing as a false positive!! Were they both from the same box? I really hope this is your cycle!!

I’m not going to test I’ve decided I’m just going to stay in denial 😂. A tiny bit of spotting yesterday and nothing since but due af tomorrow or Tuesday so I’m sure she will rear her ugly head soon!
