Confirmed with a FRER this morning (14dpo)

@KatBeCool I started taking it as I’d done some reading on supplements etc for fertility and Maca kept coming up as one good for balancing hormones, and after being on hormonal contraception for so long (and not having ‘normal’ periods yet after having my implant out) I thought my hormones could possibly do with some balancing! I didn’t get any side effects.

@stormtrooperjulian did you have any side effects from maca root? Why did you start taking it? I read a bit about it and it seems to do wonders for post-menopausal women but not many mentioned ttc.

Am cd14 here and my clearblue digital opk has shown high fertility for the first time this cycle. Usually ovulate between cd16-19 so in the fw now, fingers crossed our efforts don't go to waste 😉

Anyone else in fw at the mo?

@scotslass55 you never know! You're not out until AF arrives and some of those symptoms could be pregnancy as much as AF! Fingers crossed.

@OhMarnie Welcome to our TMI club! My periods have always been really long too, although this is my first month off the pill so I'll see how they settle.

I spoke too soon about my temperatures looking a bit more stable. Our TTC knickers are less up and down than my bloody BBT chart right now it has predicted I ovulated on CD12 although I think putting on a blindfold, spinning around and pinning an ovulation spot on the donkey would be about as educated as that guess.

@KittieKath that was my first test, I was convinced it would be negative and my body was just screwing with me and I properly freaked out when a line showed up within seconds!
I’ve been taking Maca Root (supposed to help balance hormones, thought it might help after my implant), l-arginine (supposed to boost circulation - I have terrible circulation, my hands are always freezing), and a vitamin d spray.

I was due yesterday but am late, despite the fact I was convinced AF was arriving Friday. Very confused! My cycles can be irregular so am trying to hold out til tomorrow to POAS.... weekend was 50% imminent AF symptoms, 50% nothing at all. Not totally unusual for me, annoying normally, a very frustrating rollercoaster when TTC. Am shattered tonight which is usually another sign AF is about to appear. We’ll see!

Im wondering if my super light periods post pill are going to hinder conception now. Been panicking and reading about low estrogen although dont really have other symptoms!!!! Im assuming that ovulating every month since Sept in same cycle is a good enough start..cycle day 6 here can feel anticipation building for fertile window!

Everyone on here is so helpful and it's a great place to learn. We will be pros in no time.
I'm on cycle 1 too but have been tracking for a while. Typically, my ovulation has been avoiding my this cycle - grr - so although we got off to a good start so to speak, I think I've missed it this cycle. Next I will try time much better and perhaps use OPKs.

Hi everyone, I’m new 🙋‍♀️ Been lurking for a while but now ready to join in!

Age: 28
TTC: #1
CD: 1

This will be our first month of properly trying, we didn’t use any protection last month but only DTD about twice (poor DH) and in hindsight it wasn’t when I ovulated 🙈 I’m not really clued up on all the temping and OPKs. I also have long cycles of 35-42 days which makes things a bit more tricky. So pleased to see the BFP on here today!!!! Congrats!

None of my friends are TTC or even at that stage of life so I’m excited to have some ladies to discuss this with. As soon as I saw the level of TMI on this thread I knew it was for me 😂😂😂
