TTC FIRST BABY - Thread 11!

Hi all! Congrats to all those who’ve had a BFP! You must be over the moon!

I’ve a quick question. I got a positive OPK on Sunday. Thermal shift confirmed Sunday ovulation. This was slightly earlier than predicted, my app had predicted sometime between Monday and Thursday.

That worked well because my husband flew to Asia on work on Tuesday so we managed to get some BD in over the weekend. I was really happy because I thought this cycle would be a right off - husband not home until Sunday.

But I got EWCM yesterday...does that mean I actually ovulated later and my window wasn’t around the weekend? I’m a little bummed out now, I can’t find any info online about EWCM after ovulation. I’m dry now but...

Sigh 😔

Hey ladies, needing to have a word myself as I'm getting TTC crazy and we're only cycle 2. How can it be so easy to get overwhelmed by it all even when you tell yourself you won't?

Me and DP BD this morning as promised (we missed last night when I had static smiley) however he didn't finish...sorry tmi. I felt really guilty for feeling sad afterwards. I didn't show it as i don't want to put pressure on him or the relationship but i just thought well i can't bring it up to try again tonight or he'll think I'm a bd maniac. Lol so i feel like this months chance is over now and not sure if we've done enough.

We BD Sun and Tues before my Static yesterday so keeping my fingers crossed that that's enough. If not we move on to Cycle 3. In a way not doing OPKs and checking CM was nice as i didn't know when to time it so could just enjoy it.

Sorry for having a wobble i need to be more relaxed next month xxx

@DayDreamer1707 yeah, I thought she'd arrived in style this morning - just like normal! But since this morning the flow's been basically sod all... god knows what's going on! 😂

Ladies do you think I have been to eager testing at 11 dpo?

@KittieKath not too sure when I'll test. Trying to be good and hold out as long as possible. I'm about 8dpo so slowly getting there. Not really got symptoms to be fair. May not drink much at the wedding on Saturday just to be safe x

I'm on CD22 but according to temps pretty sure I had an ambulatory cycle but my sleeping has been restless this month and today temp went up but not sure how much I can trust. Holding very little.hope for this month so just ready for AF to arrive and move on. Focusing more on exercise and diet next month. We're not particularly unhealthy but could definitely improve and at least I will feel like I'm helping things along.

@DayDreamer1707 that's the same as me! Only creamy CM. I'm now 8DPO I think... I am feeling so anxious- it's like that feeling you get before an exam or before exam results!!

@Bettythecat I wish I could symtpom spot too sometimes but currently nothing but Creamy CM which could mean anything, plus I'm only 5dpo

@honeylove I'd say wait until you are definitely late if your not sure it was AF. Could it be implantation?

I told my DH last night. He was shocked but really pleased, and asked me to go POAS so he could see the line 😂😂

Thought AF arrived on Monday night (2 days early), but it was a lot lighter than usual and has vanished last night - usually 4 days at least but 2 seems very short! (TMI sorry!)

Am I clutching at straws, should I wait a few days and test?! Had a few little niggles and I’m still feeling very bloated which usually disappears after AF, but not sure if I am symptom spotting!

@BabySquid I know what you mean about missing this thread. I must be checking it ten times a day- it's completely addictive!!

@BabySquid welcome back! Also symptom spotting like mad here but I have no symptoms to spot at to be honest: due af on Sunday/Monday and seems that's what I'll be getting!

Oh lovely, hope you feel stronger today. I too am frantically symptom spotting... Is that implantation twinges?! Or do I just need to fart?! 🙈

MC in September and just BFNs from then on!

So I decided to have a break from Mumsnet for a while, I think I last posted on thread 7! Wow to 11! You ladies sure can talk haha

While I didn't have a break from TTC, I wasn't tracking everything and taking things all too seriously for a couple of months, but now I miss talking to my TTC crazy ladies 😜
As I'm not tracking I'm not 100% sure when I'm ovulating, but we have a pretty good DTD record, but one app says yesterday one says this Saturday!

Well I finally found an outfit for the wedding only took an emotional breakdown in the changing room with tears and everything! Hubby is just awesome he just hugs me until it's better! So I'm overly sensitive and emotional the last few days. Laying in bed thinking do my boobs hurt? Are they bigger?! Ramblings of a mad woman!

I think I'm out this month. Started spotting this evening! I'm so fed up and cross with myself. Why can't I seem to get pregnant at all? 😭

@starkid Definately. Especially when you've been on the pill for a while you worry what's going on inside. DP wasn't up for it tonight and I didn't want to force it as gutted as I was. He's give me a promise for morning BD before work hopefully this won't be too late for us.
