I don't mind a bit of mindfulness now and again.
My preferred method is the Life Coaching - "If you feel shit, just feel shit and don't feel bad about it" method.

I think we all know we have great things in our lives and we are all grateful but sometimes the shit really hits and it is hard to just sit there and be like "I am so grateful for my wonderful life" you know?

There is one classic statement that really gets my back up. It's the "Be grateful for the children you already have" Like I don't appreciate my children (who are my world) and being grateful should negate the pain and grief of losing a baby. My own dad told me to be grateful for what I have already. I wanted to jump down his throat but decided to ignore it Grin

I think the diary would be a great idea though @rather and it is never too late! I was writing a diary when pregnant but I stopped it after we found out our baby had died. I finished it with a final 'goodbye' entry.
It was really cathartic to write.

I've a question, is anyone using Flo app?
I am using it along with the other apps and becuase I entered a + OPK, it now says that I have ovulated and am on the countdown to AF, despite me putting a low temp in this morning.
Shall I take the +OPK out?
I might contact them and ask

Yesss Frazzle I'm all for the positives....! I am actually thinking of starting a gratitude diary. I'm not one for mindfulness etc (nothing against it, just have never gotten into it) but a friend (my boss actually) suggested that it could be good for me after the MC. There's so much good stuff in my life yet I often always put those wonderful things to the back of my head and concentrate on beating myself up for not being pregnant, not having a baby.
Is it too late to start right at the end of Jan Grin

Yeah progesterone, you dick Wink
I was taking progesterone when pregnant with Popsy and it made me so bloated, I was also wiped out but I wasn't sure if that was the prog or the pregnancy.

I've decided to turn my shit morning around:
Okay, so the worst was the Death Breath. At least my bag doesn't smell of that, just lovely fresh coffee. Plus I can still see, I didn't blind myself..... and at least I tried to sew up my jeans.... and I got a space - it may be far away but I still got a space. I guess you could say I've had a lucky day so far
I'm still sticking two fingers up to my stupid temps though Wink

I think I slept like a log last night... maybe it’s rising progesterone.... Let’s just blame progesterone for everything ☺️

Frazzlerock · 28/01/2019 11:36

Thanks @Rose we shall see I guess Smile

I'm with you on the shatteredness. I kept drifting off on Saturday afternoon and today I feel like I could sleep standing up. Maybe you didn't sleep well last night?

@Twittle I am just reading your thread. Jeeeeezus! The cheek of your neighbours! Shock

@Frazzle, I agree with Rather, all the signs are there for ovulation yesterday, or possibly today. I would ignore the temperature, I’m sure a number of things can affect it.

I am shattered today, I could hardly drag myself out of bed this morning. I’m not sure what has made me feel like this 😞

Frazzlerock · 28/01/2019 11:25

I know @rather and thank you.
I think I'm just really struggling today and can't seem to break this since AF arrived. I'm so tired of waiting after three years of constantly being let down by my body.
I need to get a grip I think, take a deep breath and keep soldiering on.
I've done three years, I can do another cycle FFS.
I'm also pissed off as I would have set my alarm half an hour earlier and done a DVD workout as I'm due to do one today but didn't in case leaping around the living room messed up with sperm - egg meeting!

@Frazzle I get it, I really do. Many people have babies well into their 40's. You are not alone. You've beat PCOS to have your first two PLUS the 3 ones who didn't make it... you WILL have another.
As Betty said, perhaps you didn't get a good sleep, perhaps your thermometer is on the blink... it could be anything. Don't get down on one temperature. If anything, view it as you've had the EWCM, you've had the +ive OPKs, you've had the right temps in the lead ups... everything is pointing at this being an anomaly.

@Betty I'm getting annoyed with temping too - I snoozed my alarm this morning and forgot to temp so no point doing it again. Never mind.....!

Rose68 · 28/01/2019 10:41

Oh wow that’s an amazingly strong line for 12dpo @Pegase! Hopefully the bleeding will stop soon and all will be fine. xxx

BettySwoll0cks · 28/01/2019 10:17

I've given up on BBT for now. Can't trust either of my thermometers but in any case I don't get undisturbed rest at night so there's probably no point. This morning DS had me up at 6 with a bad dream and there wasn't time to temp so I have skipped a day in any case. Truth is, my cycle used to be regular so I'll just try and DTD every other day through the middle of my cycle and use OPKs. None of it is a perfect science and even if we do it at exactly the right time, as we all know the chances are it won't stick anyway (25% or something isn't it?)

Pegase · 28/01/2019 10:16

Yeah I had a haematoma with my first which meant I was bouncing back and forth to EPU for the first trimester. Sometimes it was quite a scary amount of bright red blood. I'm going to give it at least a couple of weeks till booking in. Not least so I don't have to call to cancel the appts it it ends badly again.

Frazzlerock · 28/01/2019 10:15

That is a deffo positive @Pegase! I want to say congrats but I tend to wait now until baby is here these days. But that is super fantastic news for you for today and I hope I get to say a proper congrats to you xx

Thank you @rather I am just so desperate to be pregnant again, like all of us. And I was so hopeful for yesterday and I am so anxious that my stupid PCOS will fuck things up for me which I really don't need at the grand age of 39. I just feel like I don't have time for my body to be fucking things up for me.
I'm just an absolute misery today. I can't seem to get out of this since my AF arrived last cycle.

BettySwoll0cks · 28/01/2019 10:13

@pegase that's an awesome positive! If it's any consolation, I had some bleeding at the beginning of my pregnancy with DS - enough for me to think AF had started, and then it stopped again and so I tested for a bfp. Must've been an implantation bleed, but more blood than I would have thought. And another time I had a sub chorionic bleed which just indicated that the embryo had shifted a bit somewhere around implantation which caused a small bleed when it detached/re attached from the uterine lining. Either way nothing to be concerned about so massive fx it's something like that for you x

Pegase · 28/01/2019 10:13

@Kinsters you would think so but that's why I wasn't too worried last time when I started bleeding and yet that did end up in mc. So now I don't know what to think. Thanks for the support everyone anyway. Am off work sick today with evil cold/flu so have all day to stress about this!

Kinsters · 28/01/2019 10:04

That's so positive Pegase! I guess you just have to take it a day at a time. Is it any comfort that you had bleeding in your last pregnancy so know it doesn't necessarily mean there's a problem? I said upthread my mum had bleeding all the way through her third pregnancy and my sister was fine.

ratherbeshowjumping · 28/01/2019 09:59

@pegase crossposted sorry... wow what a line for 12dpo!!!! Huge huge congratulations, that looks very positive to me!

ratherbeshowjumping · 28/01/2019 09:58

Good luck @edidxb fingers crossed it goes well for you.

@TwittleBee that woodland thread, Jesus... you've had some really good advice, definitely get a solicitor involved.

@frazzle I have no idea at all re your chart, I guess it could be an anomaly, try not to stress or read into it too much (easier said than done I know)

Oh @pegase that sounds really horrific. Is it enough to fill up a pad?

Pegase · 28/01/2019 09:56

Strong BFP with FRER (tested again as per @edidxb 's instructions! )

Need to try to just focus on being pregnant today even though I might not be tomorrow as it were. Mc sort of sucks the joy out of the whole thing.

Oh yes @TwittleBee where is your woodland? I feel like the July 19ers should come and occupy it with you. CFs your neighbours !

Frazzlerock · 28/01/2019 09:45

@Pegase I wish I knew what was going on for you. All this is such a rough ride, why do others get it so easily? Sad

I don't know about the Ovusense thingie being wrong. I've never known them to be wrong. I'm on an Ovusense users group on FB and no one has ever said anything about a faulty device. I might ask on that group actually. See what they think. I'm hoping @edidxb and @Twittle is right about a pre/post-ov dip
I feel like DP and I should BD every night from now on just in case I am gearing up still. But I get so anxious hoping DP will be 'in the mood'.

Kinsters · 28/01/2019 09:42

Your woodland thread Twittle! That's nuts! Hope you manage to sort them out.

Frazzle yeah my chart has been a bit impenetrable as well with signs not lining up and random temps. Pre MC it was always pretty clear so it's annoying. I guess all we can do is wait.

Pegase tentative congratulations!

edidxb good luck with the interview!

Pegase · 28/01/2019 09:38

Also sorry you are having a bad day Frazzle. Is it possible the thermometer was just wrong today? As someone was saying about how it can come up with different readings so easily? All other signs seem really positive...

Pegase · 28/01/2019 09:35

Yes it was on the fertility monitor thing so said pregnant. As I was wiping away blood on the loo. Sorry TMI but shows how ridiculous this is.

TwittleBee · 28/01/2019 09:31

This is why temping can be shit Frazzle as that temp this morning could be an anomaly or it could be a post ov dip (I often get them) but you just wont know what is happening until a few more temps have been recorded

edidxb · 28/01/2019 09:30

@frazzle - thank you. I have my first interview this afternoon so taking a head break on here! I had a look at your chart and it could be a pre ovulation dip. Often it is the case that your temp dips before ovulation so I would say it should go up properly tomorrow and yesterday was just a blip. It does take me 3 days after a positive OPK before my temp goes up. If you still have the watery cm you probably ovulated yet. My guess is that it will happen today - which is still great timing.

@pegase - yay! That sounds exciting.......what kind of pregnancy test is that? It is a CB digital monitor one? Did it say pregnant on the screen?

I think you need to test again....
