Hi everyone, just catching up through... work is crazy busy right now. Also have been selected to compete in France at the end of Feb so trying to sort that out too. Exciting would rather be pg but still something to look forward too

Will post a proper post catching up later but just wanted to let you know I'm still here!
Also have metal mouth @Frazzle, never had it before my mc but now I've had it for the past 2 2ww. Fucks sake.

TwittleBee · 10/01/2019 11:55

Hate to say it but really think you have to DTD for couple more days maybe Kin just to make sure?

Frazzle yeah average is 14, usually anywhere between 10-16 is considered okay. I've a LP of 12 days. Implantation happens between 6-10 dpo.

Frazzlerock · 10/01/2019 11:41

Okay so I could theoretically have this taste for another week then.
I know as soon as AF arrives it goes away. My body is such a freak.

Kinsters · 10/01/2019 11:39

Yeah Twittle I remember you were confused for a while.

Frazzle average/ideal is 14 days I think. Mine is only 10 though.

Frazzlerock · 10/01/2019 11:34

I really want AF to come now as this metal mouth is so rank.
I'm only 10dpo (maybe 8dpo). What is a normal length LP?

OP posts:
Frazzlerock · 10/01/2019 11:34

That's normal though isn't it @Twittle? Or do they always pick up HCG?

OP posts:
TwittleBee · 10/01/2019 10:51

kin that's what my cycle was like if you recall? I couldn't work it out. I think we both just have tried to ovulate, failed and then looks like ovulated later on?

Speaking of OPKs.... I could resist peeing on one to see what it would come up with... came up negative despite a very clear positive today on FRER

Exciting it's turned up tigsy !

Frazzlerock · 10/01/2019 10:40

ahhhh you got it tigsy!

OP posts:
tigsyboo · 10/01/2019 10:36

Yes you can plug it in to a computer or you can see the results and graphs on the screen

Kinsters · 10/01/2019 10:31

Ooo exciting Tigsy let us all know how you get on with it! Does it connect to a computer?

Kinsters · 10/01/2019 10:30

I'm not 100% confident that I ovulated yet. FF gave me dotted crosshairs and my temp rise is not totally clear plus my sleep has been really broken. I'd hoped this OPK would be really negative then I could feel more confident o had happened when FF thinks it did.

tigsyboo · 10/01/2019 10:27

Back to me!! 😂😂
Sorry! Lol
So I’m going to be late for work..... because THIS arrived!!!!!!
Ignore the bbt that’s mine I used to compare the temps make sure they are accurate... seem to be 0.1 out on everyreasing but I obvs don’t know which is wrong... as long as it’s consistent I’m guessing should be fine?!

Btw everyone 3 for 2 on First Response tests in Boots right now

OP posts:
Frazzlerock · 10/01/2019 10:20

oh yeah...

Do you know you deffo ovulated? Are you still testing because you're not sure?

OP posts:
Kinsters · 10/01/2019 10:08

Frazzle I already did a test and its 100% stark white negative. I'd think an OPK would be less sensitive than a pregnancy test. I can't lie and say I'm not wishing that were the case though!

Frazzlerock · 10/01/2019 10:05

@v = me pasting @tigsy

OP posts:
Frazzlerock · 10/01/2019 10:04

@v I have no idea! I think we need @twittle on this one!

OP posts:
Frazzlerock · 10/01/2019 10:03

@Kinsters well... 5dpo you say? Dare I say that I understand OPKs can detect HCG?

OP posts:
Kinsters · 10/01/2019 09:57

Hopefully your temps will shoot up tomorrow Tigsy, I wouldn't be surprised if they do with that OPK - or maybe the day after tomorrow 🤞

Frazzle I hope I'm not still in my fertile window! Don't think DH can handle more bd-ing! My CM, temps, symptoms and OPKs really haven't lined up at all this cycle. Makes it so difficult to know what's going on.

tigsyboo · 10/01/2019 09:53

@kinster still looks strong... but I’m a novice so I’d just scroll on past me!!

I’m going to take my pee pot to work ( just about to leave to start my 5 hours!! 😂 Boss was ok but her boss - the one who likes to ask if I’m going to carry on trying - is RAGING!! 😂) and I’ll do another around 2 and another around 6 👍🏼

tigsyboo · 10/01/2019 09:51

@frazzle my temps.....
All over the show!! 🤒

Frazzlerock · 10/01/2019 09:45

@Kinsters I'd say that's a positive too so maybe you're still in your fertile window? Or coming to the end of it?

OP posts:
Kinsters · 10/01/2019 09:42

Attached a pic of my OPK (the ring trick works great!). It's not quite positive I don't think but pretty close?

The July 19ers - STILL never beaten, and rocking our FJs for a lucky thread
Kinsters · 10/01/2019 09:39

Yes Tigsy that looks positive to me. FMU is only not recommended because normally the LH surge starts during the day so if you only use FMU you're more likely to miss it. With the strong a line I'd be testing at lunch time if you can and in the evening as well.

I've got quite a strong line on an OPK as well (though not as strong as that) so think we might have to keep bd'ing. I don't know why I'd be getting a strong line on an OPK supposedly 5dpo if I'd actually ovulated 5 days ago. I'll test again tomorrow morning and hope its gotten lighter.

Frazzlerock · 10/01/2019 09:27

I think that's positive isn't it @Tigsy? But yes, I have read not to test with FMU. Try again this arvo or this eve?
What about your temps?
Sorry about your row Sad But glad you got a BD in as I'm sure you are oving!
Have a chat to him tonight, taking it in turns to listen x
