@Betty Clomid just helps you to ovulate which we all do. It's really good for PCOS if you don't ovulate. But comes with risk of multiples. I would only consider taking it if my very long annovulatory cycles came back

Brilliant @ratherbe, keep us posted as to what else is on his playlist 😂 My 'field of fucks' card was actually an internet meme so I'm not sure where it originated, sorry.

@edidxb or any others with long cycles have you tried Clomid?

ratherbeshowjumping · 16/01/2019 18:45

Pleased it went well for both of you @edidxb & @tigsyboo 😘

Cracking up on the train, young professional in the seat opposite me. Nice suit, nice watch, looks very smart... headphones in... but clearly hasn't plugged them into his phone properly & Push It - Salt n Peppa is blasting into the carriage.
He's completely oblivious 😂

tigsyboo · 16/01/2019 18:37

Hi all

I'm glad all of your days went well!
The dickhead came in and I completely blanked him. I carried on like I could see through him. I decided him seeing he was not bothering me... but I was clearly ignoring him.... made me look stronger! And it worked! Within half an hour he has fucked off into a private office!

edidxb · 16/01/2019 18:25

Ah, I am pleased @ratherbe it went well. It's often the way that below these big personalities people are often not confident at all.

I made it home about 9pm. The talent was incredible and I really enjoyed it but I did stand for 2 hours and have to deal with some poor behaviour but as a whole - wow!!

I am CD11 today but no ewcm yet which I usually have at this stage which is a bit depressing. I wasn't ready for a longer cycle.

@Frazzle I am so pleased that they at least gave you the time. My work is the same. It might be very full on but with my 2 miscarriages in the last year they gave me as much time as I wanted both time. In fact my Principal even came to the hospital at 11pm the first time when I got admitted by ambulance. So I can't complain at all.

ratherbeshowjumping · 16/01/2019 18:10

Hi ladies,

Just got on the train - what a long day!

@tigsyboo absolutely love the mugs! How was your afternoon with the dickhead 😡 I hope he didn't upset you.

@BettySwoll0cks that's fab 😍 do you mind me asking where it's from, if you know? DHs birthday is coming up & he'd love that.

@edidxb I can't complain about my long day when I know you're doing that tonight 🙈 good luck, I hope it's going well 🙈

@Frazzlerock your work sound lovely 🎉🎉

First two meetings went very, very badly. She was a real nightmare. I then took her for lunch & we had a good hour & a half to burn... & I realised that her over confident, arrogant persona is a facade. She is a really large lady & clearly has a very unhealthy relationship with food... (when a client pushed back on her in a meeting, first thing she did was get out a packet of wine gums... in the meeting 🙈) clearly insecure, which she admitted, but at least I understand her a bit better, and gave her a few very tactless pointers, she performed much better in the afternoon. So not as bad as I anticipated at all 👍🏼🍸

Frazzlerock · 16/01/2019 14:51

Hi all,

Excellent news @Twittle! What a rollercoaster eh?

I love the mugs @Tigsy. Cunt is one of my favourite words. Probably why I have stuck with MN for so many years and not gone down the horrible fluffy mummy forum route.

I'm amazed what some of you have to put up with at work. I mean, my job is dull as dishwater but I've been lucky so far with colleagues. They're a very understanding company. I took time off for all of my mcs and wasn't expected back until I was ready, no questions asked.

@edidxb good luck for tonight. You need a break!!

I feel a little better today after my wobble yesterday. Although feeling a bit weird about today as it is my 16 week midwife appointment day. DP and I went to have our karyotyping bloods done which was not only on the same day as my MW appointment, but the same place and same time. I didn't expect to be having bloods done instead of MW Sad

Hahahaha! Love the work cups and notes!
I have to stay tonight and supervise s talent show with a theatre full of coca cola and burger hyped 12 to 14 year olds.
I honestly want to cry at the thought of it. 35 mins until it starts. I wore flat shoes today especially......

BettySwoll0cks · 16/01/2019 12:47

Ps I think your organisation shops from the same furniture supplier as mine ... cheapest tender and all that 😉

BettySwoll0cks · 16/01/2019 12:45

Ha ha@tigsyboo I have this in a little frame on my desk

Ladies.... I hope this makes you laugh.... this is my team's cups!!
I thought it was hilarious just how positive we all were about work, and even our mugs are negative!!! 😂
Mine is the Fox!

No way InDreamland, my husband is Malaysian and we live in KL at the moment. Were you born in the UK? Sorry about the quiet CNY.

I'm really hoping this non-starter period is a blip and it's back to normal next cycle.

Rose68 · 16/01/2019 08:46

@Indreamland are you doing anything to improve egg quality? I think it is possible to make quite a difference.

@Twittle Fab news! FX for you x

@Ratherbe I agree she probably struggles with the age thing, she does sound hard work though. Good luck with your meetings!

@Tigsy sorry to hear you have to deal with that today 😞

@edidxb I did think about volunteering, but I found the websites very confusing. Maybe I will have another look.

InDreamland · 16/01/2019 08:40

@Kinsters my family are from Malaysia. This year will be a quiet CNY, my parents booked themselves a holiday leaving me and my sister to have CNY alone ......with DHs but they're not Chinese. We don't have other family here who stay in the country for CNY so I'm gonna do a small reunion dinner. MCs can mess up AF, like how heavy/light and length unfortunately which is just another head f*ck. Your colleague sounds nice ..........how insensitive some people can be.

@ratherbeshowjumping she sounds like a liability. Is she on a probationary period? I'd be advising managers to use it, do a review and get rid. Hope today isn't too bad and she keeps her trap shut. Maybe just tell her not to speak and you'll do all the talking?

@tigsyboo he sounds like a knob. How do people like him get away with behaving like that?

tigsyboo · 16/01/2019 07:50

@TwittleBee yes 5 dpo
I'm just FX I can drag it out past a 26 day cycle this time tho!! (Ap is set for a 28day one) seeing as I O so late!! Not holding out hope tho for this month as still al over the place 😢

Aren't some bosses just dick heads!

My day has started in a pretty apt way... 5yr old just called me in (what I presumed was) panic from bathroom, I rush in only to be told he's done a massive poo and is so proud of it he'd like to show me!! 🤮
Sums up today.... shit!!!! X

ratherbeshowjumping · 16/01/2019 07:50

I can imagine. I genuinely can't understand how anyone could deem that acceptable. Ovia is saying Monday but based on historic cycle length, should be Friday.
Basically, I don't have a clue 🤷🏽‍♀️

Kinsters · 16/01/2019 07:44

ratherbe Malaysia, I had to hang up the phone on her.

When is AF due?

ratherbeshowjumping · 16/01/2019 07:26

@Kinsters that's unbelievable! Was that in the UK or Malaysia?

@TwittleBee I think you may be right re the career changes.
They are so rare, but I guess it can happen with any test. I'm going to keep my fx'd cross & will tear again if AF doesn't show up. Just hate seeing the empty white space!

TwittleBee · 16/01/2019 07:16

Why are there people like that! I am so angry for you tigsy .

TwittleBee · 16/01/2019 07:14

Oh Rather so shit that it's either evap or CP. Evaps are so rare on FRERs too aren't they? I've never actually seen one!

That woman sounds like total nightmare! Actually might be why she's had so many career changes!

No tigsy that looks like a perfect Ov chart! My weird temps shooting up were because I was ill I think, would explain why they dipped so dramatically too despite being pregnant. Your chart looks like all my previous charts! FX! So your 5dpo today?

Kinsters · 16/01/2019 07:11

I think that looks great Tigsy. My pregnancy chart had really flat just above cover line temps before starting to climb on day 5.

He sounds like a charmer. Do you have to have much interaction with him? I'll never forget coming back from work after I'd been off because my MIL died and the woman who sits opposite asked me if I had a nice holiday! HR then called me and told me I shouldn't have taken the time off because at the time she wasn't actually my MIL, just my fiancé's mother. People can be so insensitive.

ratherbeshowjumping · 16/01/2019 07:11

Thanks @tigsyboo - god you've got a hellish one as well, good luck to you too.
The G&Ts are waiting for us 🍸🍸😬

tigsyboo · 16/01/2019 07:07

Ffs forgot to add it!!!

The July 19ers - STILL never beaten, and rocking our FJs for a lucky thread
tigsyboo · 16/01/2019 07:06

Oh no @ratherbeshowjumping
Just keep thinking on an ice cold G&T at the end of the day!! Good luck!

@@TwittleBee yey!!! You did it!! It's in writing so no more wondering!!! Huge congrats

Here's my chart.... there's been a Def temp soft but no real rise then?? Is that normal?? I'm sure the ones others posted had big continuous rises??

Got the dick head who tried to ruin my work life and who I threatened to sue in my office today from lunchtime. I 100% blame him for my MC because he is the reason I was on anti depressants and sleeping tablets and that my stress levels were off the scLe. It might be unfair but I truely believe he is the causal link. Last time he walked in he greeted me like I'd just come back from a holiday not a miscarriage.... and I burst into tears. Dreading today 😢

Kinsters · 16/01/2019 06:55

That's so good to hear Twittle.

ratherbe good luck with the meeting today! She sounds like hard work and I agree your age is probably something to do with it.
