Evening all, finally getting round to catching up after a busy week. Today was a good day as we got a nice dusting of snow here in the North East. Although if truth be told i am still feeling a bit sorry for myself as I've just found out my cousin is pregnant with her second baby.We are very close but very very different! she is very overweight and very jolly but underneath it all is quite sensitive about her weight and actually lacks confidence despite being this larger than life happy go lucky character. Don't get me wrong i am no size six but I am a healthy weight and if I put on few pounds I like to lose it but she gets annoyed at me if I complain about putting on a few pounds, she'l say i don't know how lucky I am etc, yet she does nothing to help herself. On top of that she drank during her last pregnancy and thinks me, my mam and sister are a bit "mother Teresa" with our views on a zero alcohol policy during pregnancy, so it just seems so unfair that shes been blessed with a second and i know I sound awful and judgey and jealous but arghh its just so hard! I also found out that my sister and Mam have actually known about her pregnancy for her a few weeks but chose not to tell me in fear of upsetting me after MC but i feel a bit miffed about that even though the rational part of me knows they did out of love!

@bettyswolllocks i am also still waiting for first Af. It is now day 40 and I am getting very stressed about the whole thing! so I know exactly how you're feeling!

@buggle totally jealous you have got your Af which is a prhrase I never thought I would say to anyone ha. When mine does arrive defo going to have a celebratory drink.

@tigsyboo I am loving your team cups! I defo like yours the best!I love foxes and I could definitely do with one at my workplace.

@ratherbe sorry about the negative

@frazzle enjoy Berlin!!!

@Edidxb your wine and pizza sounds like heaven and I think I may have to copy for a Friday night treat tommorow!

Rose68 · 17/01/2019 20:15

Definitely make DH wait a few days! I think it’s good to build up the sperm before ovulation x

Pegase · 17/01/2019 18:50

@tigsyboo I could have written your post. Feels forced that suddenly I am dragging him to bed, always trying to drag him away from TV, started too early before ov. Etc etc.

Men!

tigsyboo · 17/01/2019 18:44

@rather
I know that feeling!! DH forever watching shit on tv and now I’m ‘dragging him to bed’ it feels so forced!! I think my long phase pre-Ov burned him out a bit so when it came to Ov time he was like ‘haven’t we done it enough?’
Plan next month is starve him the first week so he’s gagging for it by Ov week x

Rose68 · 17/01/2019 18:00

@Ratherbe my DH regularly falls asleep on the sofa watching sky sports, but I quite enjoy having the bed to myself ☺️

edidxb · 17/01/2019 17:19

Sorry @ratherbe that's rubbish. It was extra cruel that you had the line.

Have fun in Berlin @frazzle I love that city!

The tiredness @tigsy that has to be a good sign!

I have just eaten my frozen pizza and now my.glass of wine. Hoping work can be less hectic next week so I can try and eat better!

ratherbeshowjumping · 17/01/2019 16:53

Wrong way round *i didn't, he did... not that it matters!

ratherbeshowjumping · 17/01/2019 16:47

Thanks ladies.
I'm so pathetic - just crying my eyes out. DH was really worried that turkey baster/blaster would cause an argument/me to be upset & not feel good enough. I said no, absolutely not, I don't care what it takes, just want a baby.
Now I'm fucking furious - if we had a normal sex life, if he wouldn't stay up til stupid o clock watching sky sports, then maybe I wouldn't need to tell him when we need to dtd & we would have a chance at having a baby.
Just to top it off, I've been away for 2 nights working & I've come back to a complete shit tip which makes me so angry.
I'd be 16 weeks tomorrow. We should be bickering over whether to find out the sex or not (I wanted to, he didn't) not whether or not he's going to be able to tear himself away from sky sports for 5 minutes whilst we try & make a family 😡
Feel like I'm going to murder him tonight when he gets home 😡

It's probably just PMT but 😡😡😡😡

God knows what else we will end up @Frazzlerock but they have all made me crack a smile when I feel really rubbish.

Frazzlerock · 17/01/2019 16:26

I think all of our body's just needed to get our first AFs out the way.

Still I did think that we were most fertile after MC, maybe it's an old wives tale

Frazzlerock · 17/01/2019 16:25

Oh that's so crap @Rather. I thought this was it for you Sad

I think we need a list of words:

Turkey Blasters
Lube Bulldogs
Foof Juice

Welcome to Oxford @tigsyboo... my home town!

Well first AF post mmc arrived today and I don’t think I’ve every felt so overjoyed to have it finally arrive. Feels like we can get back to normal now and start trying again. Such a relief. Hopefully yours will follow soon @betty. Fingers crossed

Rose68 · 17/01/2019 16:12

@Rather I’m so sorry for the bfn.... I’m sure next month will be your month... hopefully the turkey baster won’t need to put in another appearance 😁

BettySwoll0cks · 17/01/2019 16:11

Boo sorry that's the case @rather. Hope AF shows up soon, so you can put this month behind you and soldier on.

Somewhere between lube bulldogs and turkey blasters today has been a good day for typos 😆

ratherbeshowjumping · 17/01/2019 15:52

Ah fab news, good luck @edidxb have fun! School situation sounds grim - can you say what happened?

Berlins fab @Frazzlerock have the best tome. Hope it cheers you up 😘 xx

@tigsyboo have a lovely time! Symptoms sound as promising as your chart does 🤞🏼

@Rose68 lol I have not forgotten about turkey baster 😩😂 sorry to hear your DSs assembly has ruined your plans...!

Thanks for all the support. BFN... again 😫 I'm going to have to write off the line as a fluke/evap. Ffs.

Rose68 · 17/01/2019 15:38

That would be turkey baster, not blaster 😂

Rose68 · 17/01/2019 15:37

@Tigsy I also meant to say 1000mgs of EPO.

@Kinsters, yes I’m aiming to bd next Friday morning, but it’s gonna be complicated! My plan was to take the boys to breakfast club, come home, dtd, DH can then bugger off while I lie in bed for 30 mins. However, now DS1 has informed me it’s his assembly that morning, so after DTD I will have to get up and go back to school for 9am 😩

@edidxb I have to dtd next week, only on cd4 at the mo. Sorry to hear about the police thing.

@Ratherbe I had forgotten about the turkey blaster 😂 good luck with the test!

@Frazzle have a fab weekend!

I have had DS2 skiving off school today, so he had to sit in the hairdressers with me for 3 hours. 😊

tigsyboo · 17/01/2019 15:30

Hi all
My god I'm knackered today! Sloped off work an hour early to have a power nap as taking mum to theatre tonight in oxford which is an hr and half away and had headache from the second I woke up which didn't go all day so 2 paracetamol and a nap has done the trick.

@ratherbeshowjumping I'm keeping everything crossed for you

Everyone hope you are well and thanks for the support xxx

Frazzlerock · 17/01/2019 15:14

@rather good luck!!

@edidxb good luck with the BDing. Sorry to hear about the traumatic work event. Sounds grim Sad

I am exhausted today and, as usual, bored to tears.
Tomorrow we are off to Berlin for the weekend just the two of us, so very much looking forward to that. Just hope AF fucks off so I don't have to think about that.

I'm still feeling shite, emotionally. Fed up with AF, fed up with my body. Blah blah blah.

I could really do with a nap, my eyes are super tired.

MOAN MOAN MOAN

You'll have me back to normal again when I am approaching ovulation again and close to being in with a chance

Kinsters · 17/01/2019 14:48

ratherbe fingers crossed for you!

edidxb that sounds awful! I hope everyone is OK. CNY is 5th February this year.

edidxb · 17/01/2019 13:58

@tigsyboo - your chart looks great! Fingers crossed....

edidxb · 17/01/2019 13:58

@ratherbe - go girl - hurry back from Tesco and let us know!
@Betty - so frustrating for you - I hope AF comes along soon as then you can at least feel like something is happening.
@Rose68 - I think if you DTD tonight you will def have a chance.
I am CD13 today and got my first bit of ewcm - YAY! Still a negative OPK though. I used to get 5 days or so of ewcm before ovulating so it could still be a while yet, or it could be different (hopefully) and I will ovulate soon. It's the weekend tomorrow and DH is now back home so it's good timing. I used to ovulate between CD14-CD16 so it will be a bit later this time.

In other news I had a bit of traumatic experience with a parent today which led to them being taken away by the police. It's been quite the week with all the late nights too!

But now it's Thursday evening and it's the WEEKEND!!!!

@kinsters and @indreamland when is CNY this year?

ratherbeshowjumping · 17/01/2019 13:26

Fuck it, I'm off to Tesco.
One this afternoon, one in the morning.
🤞🏼

BettySwoll0cks · 17/01/2019 13:05

@rather I think you've been remarkably restrained. I always try and wait til AF is overdue too to test, but having had a faint line this month I reckon I'd have been peeing on everything in sight.

I missed lube bulldogs as I was scrolling through ... 🤣

TwittleBee · 17/01/2019 13:00

Yeah I do agree with Kin, Rather ! And I would be surprised if the didn't get a BFP tomorrow if you are gonna be lucky this cycle. Latest I've got a BFP on a FRER, with BFN previous, has been 12dpo.

ratherbeshowjumping · 17/01/2019 12:50

@Twittle none in the house, may pop out after work and get one. Just don't want to see a BFN, would much rather see AF.

@Kinsters I'm 12dpo so should get a BFP if I were pg?
