It's fucking with my head. I've got zero PG symptoms... but zero AF / PMT symptoms either.

@Indreamland I’m in agreement with your DH, as in I think it’s better not to dtd for 3 or 4 days, and then go for it just before ov and then every day for 3 days. But I know this only works if you are certain of when ov is.

@Tigsy it is normal for af not to come until 14dpo, but I don’t get your chart at all (but that’s no surprise), can’t you get a frer and use it with fmu tomorrow?

This really is getting crazy now! Maybe you're right though, if your temps continue to rise with no bfp then surely you must have only just Over recently following tjat 2nd rise? Oh my head is spinning for you tigsy !

@Pegase I think if you know you Ov late you just start the BDing 6 days prior to Ov instead of cd8... that's my understanding

@InDreamland I'm sure doing it 3 days in a row is the max you should do it without a break for fertility... twice a day will be immature sperm as I understand??

Temps shot up again today. Getting so confused.
Maybe I only ovd a few days ago when I was feeling wet.... and ignored it as thinking it was AF coming?? If so we didn't dtd so missed it!!
Got some Poundland cheapies yesterday that (according to the internet) measure 10hcg... did it today because I'm fucking obsessed and stark negative.
14dpo (?) and 13 high temps. This is getting ridiculous 😂/😓??

I wanted to try SMEP but DH thinks that we shouldn't BD until BC OPK shows high fertility with flashing smiley then do every day (sometimes twice a day) until peak fertility static smiley disappears. He thinks it makes for higher volume and better quality swimmers

I tried to sort of do SMEP this month but DH was too tired to stick to it rigidly. Plus as I ov v late, starting day 8 meant we were losing the enthusiasm by the time ov happened! Will still try again next month!

Well I'm temping, using lady comp, cheapie OPK sticks, and cbfm..... and still no clue!!

Next month I'm going to temp using my lady comp machine and then enter it into FF, use cbfm and then cheapy OPK from day 8

Going to roughly do sperm meets egg things which is basically every other day from day 8 until positive OPK then everyday for a few days, Miss a day then do it once more.

Yeah I only found this all out after buying it. I think it is a bit of a con for this reason. Thinking of switching to temping next cycle ( although that has its issues!

@pegase .... I knew some of that.... but is it me if does that sound like a bit of a con then??
I did use 20 sticks.... all said high then the last one said ‘low’ and then went to ‘test for pregnacy’ every third day!
Im finding it hard to think I didn’t O at all as there is a clear shift in temps but it’s very odd.... I’ll try it next month if fucking Af ever arrives!! Thank you x

@tigsyboo just saw your post this AM and thought I'd check you knew about the cbfm automated settings? After first high you are high every day until peak (if you get one). After day one of peak the programme goes peak again for one day then high for one day then low. It will ask for either 10 or 20 sticks but not a number in between. So it's not technically measuring your hormones every day.

That is a really gorgeous look @Frazzlerock I think definitely consider having one made, skater dresses aren't particularly complicated. Monsoon do nice wedding shoes.

Thanks ladies. Think we just have to ride it out as best we can and allow ourselves to feel like the world is conspiring against us and we've had all the shit. After Friday I know I'll be thinking about the date we found out I was pregnant then the first anniversary of the loss which coincides with due date of second baby then the date we lost that baby too. This TTC thing is just heartbreaking. I wish I just didn't want to have a family and never got pregnant sometimes then I wouldn't feel like this. Everywhere I go I have pregnant women in my face and I just want to scream. Hugs and love all around!

@Frazzlerock that dress is gorgeous! My dress was the shop sample, saved a nice amount. Wedding planning is stressful and people just make things more difficult. Having been a bride once and MOH/BM a few times I can safely say I never want to be "in" another wedding, guest is great but any significant responsibility no thank you.

I love the dress @Frazzle! Maybe for £100 you need to look at lovely summer dresses rather than wedding dresses? You could probably still get something mostly white. Mine was over £2k, but my Mum paid for it 🙈

We have snow here, so I thought it would be lovely to walk to school in the snow, but of course the boys just wanted to play so I couldn’t get them to walk anywhere, then DS2 walloped DS1 in the nose with a lump of snow and gave him a massive nose bleed, then just after the nose bleed he stuck a load of snow down his back. We did make it to school eventually, very late and very cross 😩

Then I had acupuncture which I just about made it to, @edidxb I think he was saying, when it hurts you are stressed. But don’t quote me on that!

Now I only have just over an hour until I have to go back to school again, where does the time go! And all I want to do is work out if I can get all the original series of cold feet free on sky or if I have to buy them. DH says we can’t watch the original series while the current series is on 😡

Ah thanks @edidxb I didn't know that about the lining, that's interesting to know. My first AF was really heavy, which was to be expected I guess, but thought the 2nd would be a little more "normal."

Frazzle I got my tea length dress that I went with in the end from Chi Chi London for like £40 or something silly. There are also some places that will handmake your dress cheap too, saw an advert for it on Facebook Group the other day, I'll see if I can remember it.

Lovely dress @frazzle. There has to be dressed out there that cost 100 in that style. But as you said.....it's still a while away now. I also had a sample dress for my wedding back in the day!

@ratherbe my first AF was super heavy. I bled for 6 whole days and day 1-3 was so heavy including clots. Haven't had a second one yet....that in about 13 days time! It's better to have a longer AF when TTC though apparently as it means your lining built up well. If you have a shorter AF your lining didn't get as thick as it could have.

@betty I would like to totally cut down on the alcohol but not managing very well at the moment. Good luck! It also really affects my sleep.

@frazzle tough one. I.know all too well as I missed my chance this month and don't want another year of not having a baby. But how can you stop frightening them away!
Hope you get him on board and also hope he doesn't lose his job.....

@indreamland I know what you mean. Tomorrow is a year anniversary of when I found out I was pregnant for the first time. Hope the day passes ok for you.

Ah @frazzle that dress is beautiful! I think places like asos often have those style dresses for fairly cheap. I've just had a look on there and none on the site right now, I guess it's the wrong time of year.... You can always get them altered etc too.

Completely off topic and sorry if this is way TMI, but has anyone had really gross AF's since the mc? Before, I only ever bleed for 2 days with maybe a little spotting on the 3rd... I'm on my 6th day of bleeding now with loads of clots coming out still etc...

What sort of dress are you looking for Frazzle? Style wise I mean. x

Mine was ex-display from a posh dress shop, they have an outlet shop for all their old stock and ex-display stuff.
I paid £600 instead of £2400!!
£50 for alterations!

They had a website, it's called TDR OUTLET.
there's also a lady who goes to wedding fayres called 'worn once with love' and she had a website xx

ooo yeah good idea Buggles or even go to a Wedding Fayre as many shops take their sample and sale stock there! I got my original wedding dress (that was never actually worn on my wedding day in the end because I bought a cheaper & more casual dress to fit the changed dynamics...) it was originally £1000 but I got it for £300 and will need no alterations (planning on maybe wearing it when we renewal our vows once we are done with all our BMing)!

My wedding dress was a sample too, luckily it was a perfect fit so it didn't need any alterations. The shop had it cleaned for me and I saved a fortune overall xx

Frazzle a lot of the wedding dress shops will be selling off their samples around now. I managed to get mine in one of the sales. Much cheaper than buying it full price but just be careful re alterations... they can also come in very costly!
