Ladies, did you all know NHS doesn't recognise the term CP, it's a MC still? Means that actually my MMC would have been MC#3 ? MW was bit miffed as to why I wouldn't have classed them as a MC

Frazzle does sound like he's better off out of there tbh, hope it all settles for him soon!

tigsy oh I am so sorry. I would cry too. I suppose you do know your temp pattern now though and your LP length. Although I know a BFP would have been much more welcomed

Kinsters · 24/01/2019 15:08

Ah that's great that he gets paid for those 3 month. Obviously its shit that it worked out like it did but at least there's some breathing space for him to regroup and look for another job.

When you write that all down you really have had an awful 3 years.

Frazzlerock · 24/01/2019 14:43

@tigsy good news re AF but I totally understand the tears. It's such a rollercoaster and even when you know you are out, you still have some hope Flowers
Think of this as a brand new cycle of hope - easier said than done though I know. Look how miserable I've been since AF!

sorry, 2.5 years of those 3.5 years

OP posts:
Frazzlerock · 24/01/2019 14:37

Yes @Kinsters they are paying him 3 months thankfully! He could have kicked up a right stink as their should be procedures put in place first, but he left with dignity. He's so much better out of there. Once his three months is over I'm sure he will be writing a shit review on Glassdoor. They actually have loads of shit reviews on there and he took them all with a pinch of salt when he joined 8 months ago. Now he knows they were all spot on!
Yes hopefully just a temporary blip but another fucking hurdle. It's been non stop the past three years.

I sound like such a victim but in the 3.5 years we have been together, DP has had Labyrinthitis (still ongoing now), we lost three babies, we both had mumps, DS1 got shingles and 2.5 years of those 2.5 years DP were at loggerheads re TTC and I was at rock bottom, now DP has lost his job. So, fuck me, Cosmos, give us a fucking break would you! Angry

tigsy it's not pathetic to cry! Your chart looked so positive and you had no warning so its understandable. And yes, the first day of proper bleeding is cycle day one.

Thanks Rose, I really hope thats the case! I've always been too paranoid about everything and this is no exception.

Frazzle It sounds like this is just a temporary blip and things should be ok on the job front then? Are they paying him for the notice period?

Frazzlerock · 24/01/2019 13:47

They've given him 3 months notice with option to leave today so he has left. I'm with him now. Met him in Farringdon as had to pick up my ring . Heading home with him and I'll WFH.

He's a Product Manager/Delivery Manager and should find something as there's lots in London.

It's not bad really. They were awful to him and he's much better out of there. He's awesome at his job so will find something. I've put out messages to everyone I know in the industry. I work in tech too so easy to find stuff

@Tigsy, I’m so sorry about AF, but that is a spot on LP. You definitely don’t have any problems there 😘

@Kinsters I’m sure your body is just getting back to normal, at 28 I can’t believe you could be having earlier ov and lighter periods due to age. Earlier ov means not waiting for so long and more go’s at getting pregnant, so that’s got to be good ☺️

tigsyboo · 24/01/2019 13:23

@BettySwoll0cks
Yeah it makes a bit more sense.... I think I O'd on cd18 going by the OPKs as it was strongest on cd17 and got a rise on cd18.
I expected it but still burst into tears. How pathetic. 20 years of periods and now I'm crying at them.

I've got to take the positives.... I've got a 13/14 day luteral phase - that's got to be positive right??

Charters.... I'm switching to FF this month... is today's temp CD1??

BettySwoll0cks · 24/01/2019 13:05

@tigsy - bad luck, that's disappointing even thought you were mostly expecting it. Does that make a bit more sense now the witch has arrived? Delayed Ov on Cd19 then LP of 13 days? I just starting BBT charting again this cycle, and already it's batshit crazy. But ultimately, the only thing that actually matters is having enough sex throughout the FW so that's really all I'm hoping for this month!!

@Frazzlerock I can't believe your news, I'm so sorry. If I understand correctly, they're saying 'jump before you're pushed'. But do they actually have grounds to fire him? If not he can afford to take his time. Thanks

Kinsters · 24/01/2019 13:03

Oh god Frazzle that is exactly what you don't need right now.

Rose yeah, this was only my first period since the miscarriage so I'm hoping its just my body/cycle getting back to normal. I'm only 28 so I really hope its nothing more than that but of course its easy to think the worst.

tigsy sorry AF arrived, no matter how much you expect it it still sucks. Your charts definitely a weird one this cycle! Maybe you are just one of those people who don't get the pre AF warning dip.

tigsyboo · 24/01/2019 12:52

AF has arrived!! Wtf is with those temps?!

tigsyboo · 24/01/2019 12:09

@Frazzlerock that is shit
I'm so sorry
Is he in an industry where he will find something else without too much trouble?
God life is shit sometimes xxx

Rose68 · 24/01/2019 12:04

Oh shit Frazzle! I don’t know what to say, I’m so sorry Sad
Could he not take them up on his suggestion until he has something else lined up, or does he really have to go now?

Frazzlerock · 24/01/2019 11:49

@Kinsters I think that was me who said I have really heavy periods.
They're a nightmare. I used to take Tranaxamic acid to lessen the flow but I can kind of manage them now with super duper tampons and a pad.
I don't know about whether or not they are heavy/light and the effects of TTC.

@tigsy Man! How frustrating for you! I have no idea. I wish I did!

Well DP has just been fired ( or suggested to resign). Some general bullshit about the fact that he doesn't fit in culturally and that this is too important to have someone so risky on (ie, he has his own mind and they don't like that)
So we continue to keep having shit lobbed at us. I would just like 5 minutes where we don't have to deal with life fucking up.

I am pretty sure there are things you can do to improve your lining x

Rose68 · 24/01/2019 11:01

@Kinsters thank you, I might pm you if I can’t work out the answer via google. CD10/11 does sound a little early, I’m not sure re the ‘bad egg’ thing, I think I read as you get older you can start ovulating earlier. Also on the bleeding, if it’s been since the mc I it could just be that your body is still recovering? I can’t remember how old you are, but could it be worth making an appointment? Maybe even just with your gp initially?

Kinsters · 24/01/2019 10:35

I got locked out of my mumsnet again so I've been reading but couldn't comment!

ratherbe I'm so sorry things aren't going well with you and DH. It must be really difficult for you.

tigsy your chart is a mystery! I've always had a good experience with ICs, like I wouldn't expect a strong line but at 14dpo there should be a hint. Very strange. It definitely looks like you ovulated on CD19 - the temp shift is so clear!

InDreamland I read that sex everyday is fine unless the guy has known sperm count issues in which case every other day can be better.

Twittle congratulations on the scan news! It must have been very nice to be measuring ahead.

Rose I wouldn't call myself an expert but I can try and help! I used to work in UK tax and did the professional qualifications etc. Feel free to PM if you'd like.

My temp shot up to post-o levels this morning (CD10!!) and I've got a positive OPK this evening. DH is back from his work trip tomorrow evening but if, as the temperature suggests, I've already ovulated then we've got no chance this cycle. I hope my temperature is back down tomorrow. I normally ovulate the day after a positive OPK so maybe it'll be tomorrow - CD11 seems way too early though. I don't know if an early egg is a "bad" egg.

Also I remember someone was saying they had really heavy periods. Mine are the opposite since ERPC, just half a day of proper bleeding (and even before they were never more than a couple of days of proper bleeding). I'm so worried that my lining won't be able to support a pregnancy or what if that was the problem that caused this miscarriage Sad.

Rose68 · 24/01/2019 10:33

@Ratherbe has he always been like this throughout your relationship or is it a recent thing? x

Rose68 · 24/01/2019 10:15

@Ratherbe that must be really tough, sending you a big hug xxx

Rose68 · 24/01/2019 10:14

Yay to the frers @Tigsy fx for tomorrow morning x

tigsyboo · 24/01/2019 10:09

Ordered a 2 pack of FRER for delivery tonight.
I'm going to try and wait until sat morning if AF still not here but that's clearly not going to happen or I wouldn't have selected same day delivery.

Every single day I convince myself I'm out... go to bed in pants - wake up no period , take temp.... start wondering all over again 😢

ratherbeshowjumping · 24/01/2019 09:48

@tigsyboo deffo get a FRER. When I was testing for a BFN, I was getting BFNs on cheapies & hospital tests but still getting BFPs on FRER x

ratherbeshowjumping · 24/01/2019 09:47

Oh tigsy I really do feel for you. I hate that limbo feeling... I have no advice but & please don't sulk. We are all here for you!

@InDreamland I would agree with tigsy, I thought once a day, so the sperm aren't immature...

I'm jealous of everyone that's trying SMEP. Dh & i are still not talking after I told him how upset I am & I don't feel we're trying hard enough... I didn't realise it was so much hassle to want to sleep with your wife a few times a month 😢 self confidence is right down at rock bottom.

TwittleBee · 24/01/2019 09:46

tigsy but my experience with cheaper tests have been awful. FRERs always pick up my pregnancy days before a cheapie. On the cheapies I don't usually get a decent line until around 20dpo despite them saying they're 10mlu
