@Tryingforno2 I'm so glad you said that! I'm the same really scared at the moment and rang the doctors waiting for a call back. My lines aren't getting darker, if anything they look fainter but still there. I'm trying to be so positive and have read so many things that you should go on the darkness of the test xxx

@Hannah192 we've been having unprotected sex for 13 months and this month I have got my first positive and this is the first month we used opks I think they are handy to have x

Tryingforno2 · 08/02/2019 12:35

@ChloePD welcome :-) do you think there's a chance you have already conceived of you have missed your pill the odd time in January?
@MrsE95 hope you are ok today and the pain has got a bit easier 😟
@Waiting2bMum I'm peeing on sticks like a crazy woman and over analysing line colour and strength please tell me I'm not alone 🤦‍♀️😂

Hi Everyone,

I have been reading this thread and was hoping I’m not too late to join? It’s nice that everyone shares their journeys.

I’m 27
TTC #1
Cycle 2

I’m not using the ovulation kits, but I have been using the online calculators to work out the most fertile days. Do you think this is ok or should I be looking at getting an ovulation kit?
We have been DTD everyday since the end of my last AF. I’m due to ovulate sometime between today and next Wednesday. Would you recommend sticking to once a day? Or every other?
I’m just so excited for it to happen already 🙊 Thank you x

Hi Everyone,

Sorry Im so late- have been reading this thread for a while so thought I'd join :)

Im 21, 22 in 12 days :)
TTC 1
Cycle 1

Im a bit clueless as it stands, came off the pill properly on the 1st Feb however skipped a few from the 25th Jan. Have not had a withdrawal bleed yet however had a very small amount of thick brown discharge on the 4th Feb (once off)

Did an OPK on the 4th Feb which came back as negative, another OPK on the 5th and its been 'high fertility' since, but still no LH surge, so 4 days high fertility currently.

No clue what cd I am on though but Natural Cycles predicts cycle day 15. Have been DTD every second day since the 4th. Have had light cramps since the 5th, very bloated but no other symptoms. Very unusual for me to not have withdrawal bleed as I usually have this if I forget to take the pill for even a day and a half. Patiently waiting for AF so that I can start to get to know my cycle.

Very excited and thank you all for welcoming me to the group :)

@JessHughes17 in my experience the frer are by far the most sensitive and I've had loads of false positives with clearblue with faint lines and stuff so I'd either go for a clear blue digital but if you were very early it might not be sensitive enough, but a frer would probably give you a positive if you are pregnant and due your period about now as they can give positives 6 days before it's due x

JessHughes17 · 08/02/2019 07:57

@Tryingforno2 I hope it's that 😆 I'll go and buy a FRER - is that the one that's meant to be the best? Xx

Tryingforno2 · 08/02/2019 07:54

@JessHughes17 how weird! That window should be blank for a negative, I wonder if somehow that part of the test has been put in the wrong way round in production 🤔
Maybe try and grab a first response and test again x

JessHughes17 · 08/02/2019 07:45

@meepmoop it's not the same as the cross ones, but you can buy those ones. This one is just a single line. That's what confused me.

I'm not sure as this would be my first period. I stopped the pill 06/01 and had a period 10/01 and nothing since then. I've had lots of symptoms but I guess that could be for pregnancy or AF 🤷🏽‍♀️

meepmoop · 08/02/2019 07:17

@JessHughes17 I think with those ones it makes a cross if it's positive. if it's just he horizontal I think that would be negative sorry. When are you due on

meepmoop · 08/02/2019 07:16

@JessHughes17 I think with those ones it makes a cross if it's positive. if it's just he horizontal I think that would be negative sorry. When are you due on

JessHughes17 · 08/02/2019 06:55

Morning, don't suppose anyone can give me some advice 😆 I took a clear blue pregnancy test this morning. It says if you get a vertical line you're pregnant and if you get nothing you're not pregnant.. mine came out with a horizontal line!?

I've uploaded a pic of a test that's the same on the internet but it's clearer to see what I mean - my pics aren't showing it up very well. I'm assuming it's a negative but just thought I'd ask :)

Tryingforno2 · 07/02/2019 15:07

Oh no @MrsE95 I hope you're ok, they will look after you you're better getting checked over if you're feeling so bad, what a crappy time you are having 😢 xx

MrsE95 · 07/02/2019 14:48

So I’ve had to ring 111 as my cramps are horrendous and I’m shakey, feel sick and really really dizzy I nearly fainted earlier. They’ve bloody sent me to A&E last bloody place I want to be today. 😭😭😭😭

Still hoping and praying for sticky ones for you lovely ladies 🤞💖

Tryingforno2 · 07/02/2019 13:14

🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 100% let us know how you get on over the next few days xx

Waiting2bMum · 07/02/2019 12:59

@Tryingforno2 ahh yeah I think I implanted late as had really bad cramps really late. Fingers crossed for us!! And everyone else here xxx

OP posts:
Tryingforno2 · 07/02/2019 12:53

@Waiting2bMum I'm 14dpo today I'm pretty sure I implanted at 6dpo though quite early as I had lots of pains and cramps on that day, I know that clearblue are the least sensitive tests really so I wouldn't worry to much about it at this point maybe just wait a couple of days and retry, 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 lets hope we both have sticky beans this month, 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 xx

Waiting2bMum · 07/02/2019 12:42

@Tryingforno2 aww that's so good!! What dpo would that make you? I had a not pregnant but was 4 days before period due I'm due Saturday. I shouldn't be worried should I as still getting positives? Xxx

OP posts:
Tryingforno2 · 07/02/2019 12:27

@Waiting2bMum my periods due today so I guess it would be classed as 4 weeks but conception 2 weeks ago, I had hot sweats last night which I always get before AF so I'm just praying this one sticks 🤞🏻🙏🏼 I'm being quite realistic about it all and just taking it one day at a time, when are you poas again? Xx

Tryingforno2 · 07/02/2019 12:21

Sorry forgot the pic xx
