Waiting2bMum · 11/01/2019 11:39

@MrsP4 fingers crossed ovulation is on its way then. I always use the cheap ones from eBay, found them better than the clear blue digital ones and you can actually see when the test line is as dark as the control line.
@Greysgirl oh no sorry to hear that😞your not out yet though until the witch shows! Still keeping fingers crossed for you. Upload a pic so we can double check x

Greysgirl · 11/01/2019 11:19

Hello ladies, I tested this morning with a clear blue (not digital) and got BFN but no control line came up at all. My boobs are still painful, not aching, just sharp pains. AF should be tomorrow so if she doesn’t arrive I’ll test again Monday. I’m still clinging to hope!!!

MrsP4 · 11/01/2019 08:57

@Waiting2bMum yeah I'm tracking atm but nothing as of yet might of had a faint second line on OPK yesterday so will see if it gets any darker today

Waiting2bMum · 11/01/2019 08:01

@MrsP4 welcome☺️understand exactly how your feeling, it will be al of ours turn very very soon I can feel it👍🏻ahh no did you, did you track to see if you still ovulated?

Hi please can I join
TTC #1
Cycle 4
Age 26
CD 13
Due to ovulate on Saturday but wasn't well all last week with a viral infection so not sure if that might of messed me up for this cycle, glad I'm not alone with all the ups and downs of TTC, wishing you all good luck! All I keep seeing is pregnancy announcements and it's like a kick in the ovaries every single time and I just think when will it be my turn! Came off BC end of sept and periods have been regular since first cycle was 30 days and last two were 27 days

Waiting2bMum · 10/01/2019 21:54

@MrsG7718 thank you💐yes third time lucky, I am very positive in that. Yeah your right, some brands are so expensive aren't they. Ohh really, it's funny how our bodies work and are all so different! Fingers crossed for you two this cycle x
@LondonKez if you find any let us know! And thank you, you too I'm feeling very positive for all of us on this thread x

OP posts:
LondonKez · 10/01/2019 21:42

@Waiting2bMum I think we all do everything possible for the best outcome. I'm back to googling ttc friendly lubes and reviews, so watch this space for my u-turn! I have my fingers crossed for you that the next time you have a positive result 💖

@MrsG7718 I've heard a lot of people recommend the Asda and Superdrug own brand tests. I'm at a year and at the stage of going along with anything I'm recommended 😂

Waiting2bMum · 10/01/2019 21:16

@LondonKez oh really? I haven't heard that before. It's specifically made for not to affect sperm isn't it? Yeah your right there is so many things and lots to read into we never know what is right do we! It is so frustrating. Seems that everyone around us that we know falls pregnant so easily x

OP posts:
MrsG7718 · 10/01/2019 21:15

@waiting2bmum sorry to hear about your 2 non sticks FX it will be 3rd time lucky.
Pay days not yet so we just got the asda ones as yes they are not too expensive and I've seen a few people get good early lines.
I had the implant for 6 years with regular periods but then when it was removed my first cycle was 50+ days so we don't count that one.
Me and DH have both said if we get to the year it will definitely be Drs, kits any any old wives tale we get told :)
Xx

LondonKez · 10/01/2019 21:08

I used it for about 3 cycles @Waiting2bMum after reading so many success stories, but I then also heard that it can also result in sperm that wouldn't normally be strong enough to cteate a viable pregnancy reaching the egg which put me off. I don't know how true that is, so don't know whether or not to try it again! We've been using coconut oil when it's needed instead. There's almost too much information to know what the best thing to use is

Waiting2bMum · 10/01/2019 20:45

@MrsG7718 yeah I understand where you coming from it does get disheartening doesn't it. What test do you use? I tend to always get frer to find out before missed and cheapy ones to check after missed. Yeah trying for our first. I am on my 20th cycle but for a good 8 months I was all over the place with my cycles, as I was on cerezate for 11 years with no periods at all. When I stopped the pill I was so ill for a few months and my periods were like every 40+days. I literally felt like I had withdrawal symptoms, was really bad. So I don't think I can count that as 'trying'. The last 6 months is when iv been using opk and seven seas vitamin and iv fell pregnant twice, just didn't stick x

OP posts:
MrsG7718 · 10/01/2019 20:33

@waiting2bmum was out shopping with DH and have acctually picked a box up, bit unsure of when to test tho.
For the past 8 months I've been tracking myself on my fitbit and AF has arrived on the predicted day every single cycle, however last month we got all excited as I was 5 days late but ended up BFN.
5 days till AF is expected this cycle so I just don't want to test too soon.

Hoping I can hold off until Monday but with tests in the house temptation is high.

Are you ttc your first? Xx

Waiting2bMum · 10/01/2019 20:23

@meepmoop glad you managed to grab him😂😂and same as I find myself testing ridiculous amounts!
@Greysgirl let us know! Keeping everything crossed for you. I don't cope too well, I find I'm testing quite a few times a day and try so hard to stop myself.
@MrsG7718 of course we don't mind, welcome😊 being honest yes the TWW drives me mad too especially on cycle 20 now, it does get obsessive I know I have spent a fortune in tests. Have you tested yet?
@LondonKez did you not find preseed helped? Iv used twice now and don't know whether it was a coincidence but had 2 BFP after, but they didn't stay😕😞(two different cycles)

OP posts:
LondonKez · 10/01/2019 17:51

Hi ladies,

To all those who have mentioned going crazy in the TWW, YES! However many times I say I'm going to 'relax' or not symptom spot, I still become obsessive, analyse every twinge and just generally become really distracted. Especially at work.

Waiting2bMum on CD9, so I'm headed into my fertile window. We've stepped away from the preseed and OPKs but still temping.

Good luck @Greysgirl. Fingers crossed for you!

I always get cramps before ovulation @meepmoop

MrsG7718 · 10/01/2019 17:38

Hi all
First time posting so hope you don't mind me joining.

Age: 29
Ttc: #1
Trying: 9 cycles

Currently CD27 and DPO9
The TWW drives me crazy anyone else?
Xx

meepmoop · 10/01/2019 16:47

I did so many tests last month as I was 10 days late and had convinced myself I was pregnant, it's horrible waiting and hoping.

I've got major cramps today, is that a normal ovulation thing? I've never really paid attention to it before

Greysgirl · 10/01/2019 15:54

@Waiting2bMum yes I used frer this morning. Got a clear blue for tomorrow.

How does everyone cope with the 2WW? It turns me into the grumpiest person. I literally can’t think about anything else. It’s like I can’t switch my mind off to it.

meepmoop · 10/01/2019 15:37

He's decided to not go running now!! Haha

Fingers crossed for you @Greysgirl

Waiting2bMum · 10/01/2019 14:54

@Greysgirl fingers crossed for tomorrow!💐either way upload a pic. Are you using frer?

OP posts:
Greysgirl · 10/01/2019 14:40

I threw the tests away because I was so frustrated. I’ll be testing again tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed for everyone x

Waiting2bMum · 10/01/2019 12:43

Hi @finleybobinley1 @Greysgirl @meepmoop welcome😊 great to have you all here so we can all support each other!
@meepmoop fingers crossed for you this cycle!! Yes grab him as many times as possible😂🙈
@Greysgirl you ain't out yet! What test did you use? Upload a pic see how all of our line eyes are😬
@finleybobinley1 fingers crossed for you too!! Thanks, it has been one of those things you decide to start trying thinking it will happen quickly and it hasn't for us. Even though having two chemical pregnancies or early miscarriages, I do see this as a positive that something has been happening😞

OP posts:
finleybobinley1 · 10/01/2019 11:44

hey @Paintingowls I'm right there with you, Im on cycle 9 which I know isn't as long as some people but I'm finding it hard, each week brings a different sort of dread, the anxiety of ensuring we DTD at the right time, followed by 2ww of trying to ignore the voice in my head that goes "hmm you have a slight ache in your hip and the cats are acting odd maybe this time its happened" followed by crushing disappointment when AF arrives. feel like its taking over my life! cant imagine how you must feel @Waiting2bMum, wishing you all magic minny dust!!

Greysgirl · 10/01/2019 11:36

Can I join?
Age 39

AF due this Saturday. Tested and BFN so far. I feel different to normal, had a lot of backache and my boobs have had the “let down” feeling for a couple of days like when I was breastfeeding my first.
