@waiting2bmum it was the Asda one but it's now just a waiting game for AF. If AF does come I'm looking at getting some OPK as I want to be more sure were hitting it. How are you getting on? Xx

Dosmamas · 13/01/2019 20:44

I've just bought some vitamins off amazon to use as pre Natals, we were using proper TTC Vitamins but each month we felt the pills were messing with her LP, which at one point her luteal phase was 26 days or something ridiculous, it had to be the vitamins as we have been tracking for 18 months and her cycle is nearly spot on every month.

So we are going to use, Feroglobin, (iron, folic acid and b12) and some Vitamin D. I have read loads about Americans using Geritol Liquid in their fertile window to increase chances and Feroglobin has the same ingredients so fingers crossed it does the trick. We are also losing weight as well. We are both overweight and want a healthy BMI.

What do you girls use for vitamins?

Dosmamas · 13/01/2019 20:38

So I had a miscarriage in December and had a MVA last Wednesday. I bought ovulation tests to track, I've done 3 over the past 3 days and todays is positive, I had faint lines the two previous days but today is extremely darker than the previous.
Is it normal for me to be ovulating already?
My OH and I have decided to try after my next period as this is what was advised by the doctor who carried out my procedure on Wednesday but I wanted to start testing to track my cycle.
Any advice is appreciated

Waiting2bMum · 13/01/2019 12:37

@Greysgirl sorry to hear AF arrived😞I would get some OPK I found that I ovulated earlier than what my app said. I get the cheap ones from eBay about £5 for 50 so you have enough to test a lot and really get to know your cycle.
@MrsG7718 fingers crossed still, your not out yet. What test did you use yesterday?
@ale2992 Good luck!!

@PaintingOwls ha ha! Where there pink balloon flamingoes at your do??

PaintingOwls · 12/01/2019 18:08

Greysgirl LOL I'm wondering if we were at the same thing!

It was okay, in left pretty early on, I was just not in the mood.

Greysgirl · 12/01/2019 17:57

I’m out this cycle. AF has arrived.

For next month I’m not sure whether to get some OV testing sticks. At the moment I use an app to track everything.

MrsG7718 · 12/01/2019 16:48

So we took the test this morning and BFN as usual still 3 days till AF is expected so I'm not giving up on this cycle yet. @Greysgirl FX for you I'm normally spot on expected day too x

Greysgirl · 12/01/2019 12:53

@Waiting2bMum yes 99% of the time. I’m a bag of nerves! Trying to relax but sooooo hard.

@PaintingOwls how did the work do go? I had mine last night, I picked up the free glass of prosecco on arrival and pretended to sip it for hours. I think I got away with it because I had a drink in my hand all night. He hardest bit was dancing sober when everyone else was hammered!!

ale2992 · 12/01/2019 12:16

Good luck to you all, hoping I'm in the same boat after my next period. Going to be hard to wait!

Waiting2bMum · 12/01/2019 12:03

@Greysgirl got everything crossed for you!💐does AF normally arrive on time? X

Waiting2bMum · 12/01/2019 12:02

Greysgirl · 12/01/2019 11:34

@MrsG7718 I’m testing Monday too if AF doesn’t arrive. It should be here today but nothing so far.

@Waiting2bMum @londonkez I’m hoping it was faulty. I’ve got no tests left now so will have to get one Sunday so I can do FMU on Monday. Thinking of getting Clear blue digital.

fabmaz · 12/01/2019 08:58

Hi all,

I'd like to join too

28, ttc #1, just had AF so ready to get back to ttc

Lots of baby dust to everyone :)

Waiting2bMum · 12/01/2019 08:07

@PaintingOwls I tried the pregnacare ones and first and didn't get on with them, made me feel very sicky and read online that a lot of women felt the same because the dose is too high so that's when I went onto seven seas. I would say 2 months of taking them I went from cycles that were 48 days at the most to 32 days now x

PaintingOwls · 12/01/2019 00:10

Waiting2bMum

Just folic acid at the moment.

That's interesting, I might have to try that. How long did it take to become regular?

Waiting2bMum · 11/01/2019 21:58

@ale2992 also welcome!☺️☺️

OP posts:
Waiting2bMum · 11/01/2019 21:57

@PaintingOwls do you take any vitamins? I was very much like that my cycles would swap. Iv been taking seven seas folic acid and I'm much more regular.
@ale2992 sorry to hear about your MMC, keep up the positive thoughts!
@MrsG7718 fingers crossed for your test tomorrow!
@Greysgirl sorry think I read to fast, missed the bit where you said the control line didn't appear. Deffo a faulty test

MrsG7718 · 11/01/2019 21:15

@Greysgirl i have that feeling too. I have never had sore boobs before and the past 2 days they have been rather achy so I'm crossing everything. AF is due Monday and I wanted to test this morning but DH asked for us to wait until tomorrow morning as today we were rushing off to work and tomorrow we can enjoy the moment. Xx

ale2992 · 11/01/2019 20:28

Trying to conceive since September, MMC in December.
I'm 26 and I do have an older son from a previous relationship.
Wanting to continue trying soon as I've had my next period, I ended up having to have an MVA at hospital this week but am feeling much better since and positive about trying again.

PaintingOwls · 11/01/2019 19:59

I suspect I have a lazy ovary as I go between 28 days one month to 34 days the other month. I just got off a 33 day cycle so I was expecting this one to be 28 days but here we are.

I was chatting to a colleague earlier and we were bonding over our frustrations with work. She says she is TTC to get away from it all!! Argh.

LondonKez · 11/01/2019 19:49

If no control line came up, it sounds like a faulty test @Greysgirl. Fingers crossed you get your BFP this cycle.

Welcome @MrsP4 @Littlegoth

Hang in there @PaintingOwls!

Waiting2bMum · 11/01/2019 18:53

@PaintingOwls ohhh noo😞😞how long normally are your cycles? X

OP posts:
PaintingOwls · 11/01/2019 17:22

CD32, 17DPO, BFN but also no AF.

I'm losing my mind.

I have a work drinks thing tonight and I'm nervous about drinking. Really wish AF would just come and put me out of my misery.
