My OPKs came yesterday and I’m due ovulation on Tuesday. I had the faintest line yesterday.

People using OPKs is this normal to have such a faint line 4/5 days before ov? I don’t really have any idea what I’m doing tracking my ov as first time this cycle. 🙈

fabmaz · 19/01/2019 18:11

Thanks @Waiting2bMum ! Not sure how accurate as only using my app at the moment and not sure if it's just my imagination but I deffo feel like something's going on down there haha

Fingers crossed for all

Waiting2bMum · 19/01/2019 17:37

Hi @fabmaz fingers crossed for you!! I'm due ovulation this week x
@LondonKez that's really odd, surly not right to ovulate 3 days after your period? What is it your using to tell you that? X
@MrsG7718 wow that line!! And there's not denying the digital! So happy for you☺️that sounds about right for doctors. Iv tested today and the line is fainter, due to ovulate next Saturday x

Hi @waiting2bmum I've not done anymore tests as we had 6 come back positive Grin I'm getting more symptoms very sore boobs, sore teeth and quezyness so we're pretty sure it wasn't a lie. Phoned the dr expecting to be told to come in but nope just got to see the community midwife at 8weeks. These 4 weeks waiting are already putting me on pins. Just want someone official to confirm it's all real. I saw your ovulating early hope this could be a good sign FX xxx

@fabmaz I'm 2dpo so in TWW.
Feeling very nauseous today which isn't Inuit I be honest but 🤞🏻

LondonKez · 19/01/2019 10:34

So, strange cycle for me (again!). I thought I was about 3dpo today. Woke up and input my temp expecting it to confirm ovulation and it's put me at 8dpo which means I ovulated 3 days after the end of my period, my bleeding/spotting happened at 3-5dpo and my cramps started at 6dpo. My actual pre O cramps must have been confused with AF cramps. Very frustrating. Going to just not think about it snd see what happens on Weds when Natural Cycles is predicting my period

fabmaz · 19/01/2019 09:26

Hi all,

Congrats to those with bfp!

Baby dust to all those still ttc :)

According to my app I ovulate today and me and dh have been dtd throughout my fw and plan some more today haha so fingers crossed

Any one else similar waiting position?

Waiting2bMum · 18/01/2019 20:58

@Sienna9522 Hahahaha that's good to hear success from dryness😂😂
@LondonKez let me know how you get on with them🤞🏻I don't know if it was a coincidence but got my first bfp 3 months after they was in my system x

@LondonKez I get cramps mid cycle ish but I can’t predict it. This cycle I had cramps 2 days before predicted O on Flo and today (1 day after predicted O) so very confusing.

I’ve been on a bit of a health kick since the new year so I’ve been drinking around 2-3 litres a day, although this week has been a write off. I’ve not drank enough water and had way too many fizzy drinks.

ale2992 · 18/01/2019 17:29

I'm 1dpo!

LondonKez · 18/01/2019 16:14

I'm also in the tww. According to natural cycles I'm 2po, but it normally takes 3 days for consecutive high temps for it to calculate. I've run out of folic acid and on your recommendation I've picked up some seven seas ones instead @Waiting2bMum.

I get really sensitive breasts and cramps around ovulation @Sienna9522, but had very little ewcm in the last few months. I've heard drinking water helps, but I have to go to the loo every half an hour. I already have a reputation at work for my weak bladder (always having to step oit of meetings) and now it's just ridiculous 😂 🙈

Sienna9522 · 18/01/2019 16:01

@waiting2bmum hahaha I am too! Although I’m not as concerned give the fact my first child come from ‘bone dryness’ 😂

Waiting2bMum · 18/01/2019 15:51

@Sienna9522 hahaha I like the end but, we always tell ourselves not to get stressed or over think buttttttt...we do🙈I'm the same I don't get it a lot, a little bit but not too much to notice. If any thing (tmi) I'm bone dry down there😂🙈

Just jumping in on a few of the convos. I never seem to get EWCM. Not that’s noticeable anyway, I remember vividly having it as a tennager but since I started TTC the first time, it was never there. I worried endlessly and googled my life away ‘can you get pregnant with no EWCM’. Maybe I do get it and don’t notice. Anyway, the point to my rambling is, the first time I got pregnant I had no EWCM. It was the third cycle and we had just starting using OPKs. We DTD on the day I got a static smiley on a clear blue.

For now, we’re just seeing what happens but I might use them if no joy after 3 cycles. I definitely can’t tell when I’m ovulating just via symptoms so I’m roughly going by the predictions on the Flo App and continuing throughout the month to make sure I’m not missing it. I always tell myself I’m not going to get too stressed about it, but here I am Grin

Waiting2bMum · 18/01/2019 14:52

@liveinhope100 that's ok☺️it is difficult as all the time on Facebook I see people are getting pregnant or I hear of people that are and it does make you think how come it is so quick for them or why can they get pregnant and it's difficult for me. I just have to stop myself testing too early🙈🙈stay positive she isn't going to show for you!!

OP posts:
liveinhope100 · 18/01/2019 14:34

@Waiting2bMum Wow what a journey you have had. I definitely think that is a good way to look at the MC's. As devastating as they must have been it must be nice to know that things are happening and it probably is just a matter of time. Thanks for sharing and for the advice, really appreciate it. FX for you, third time is a charm as they say!

Anyway if AF comes im ready for it as the next cycle will be the first one i'm going to take soy isoflavones and see if that helps me get my BFP :)

Waiting2bMum · 18/01/2019 14:18

@liveinhope100 well, where do I start🙈I am now on cycle 21 since coming off of the pill. I don't know if you read back but my cycles took ages to regulate and I felt dreadful stopping the pill. I had terrible withdrawal symptoms and didn't know much about my cycles as there where all over the place up to 50 days between periods some cycles. I started taking seven seas folic acid around March last year which made me feel great and my cycles are consistent. So don't really know whether to count the months before that as 'TTC'. I differ, one cycle I'm very positive and hold off testing and then if it doesn't happen then I think positive towards the next cycle, other times I just think why me, why can't it happen quick for me and feel really down. I have had 2 MC's recently, one in August and one in November. Obviously I was gutted when it didn't stick but when I look at it now I see it as a positive that something is happening. I feel quite positive this cycle and keep telling myself it can and it will happen to me. We all cope differently, there is no right or wrong way for how we cope, don't let any one tell you differently. It's your body and your mind, you do or feel how you want to😘fingers crossed for you and third time lucky for me🤞🏻💐x

liveinhope100 · 18/01/2019 14:08

Thanks @Waiting2bMum, i'd love to ask you how you cope with your feelings during each cycle and the tww? I find that as the cycles go on I really struggle to stay positive and now I expect a BFN each time I do a test. I wonder if its better to have this mentality or if it would be better to think really positive each month and say to myself 'this is the month'.

I used FRER both days and my pack of 50 (!!!) internet cheapies has just arrived so I might do another test tonight/tomorrow seeing as I have so many to use but am pretty confident im out!

Waiting2bMum · 18/01/2019 13:52

@liveinhope100 sorry I missed your post a few come at once, welcome☺️fingers crossed for you, hope AF doesn't show and your not out until she arrives!! What tests have you used so far? X

OP posts:
Waiting2bMum · 18/01/2019 13:50

@TheatreMumma that's good to know. It's so hard to know our bodies as lots of things change through every different cycle x

OP posts:
Waiting2bMum · 18/01/2019 13:48

@MrsP4 really!!🙈🙈typical DP is away and not back until Sunday, hope it holds until then x

OP posts:
TheatreMumma · 18/01/2019 13:48

Thanks @Waiting2bMum! I had a definite period - the aim was to wait until that period was over to start ttc. Expected the normal change in cm as cycle goes on but got the 4 days of ewcm as soon as period finished on cd7, which is really strange. Managed to dtd once during ewcm and once after but think we’re just going to keep trying every few days throughout cycle anyway as not sure cm is an exact science - especially as got pregnant outside of the ewcm period first time round. So i have no idea if I ov’d really early but if anyone wants to take anything from my previous experience - if you’re only tracking cm and not using OPKs just keep dtd just in case!! 🤞🏼

MrsP4 · 18/01/2019 13:46

@Waiting2bMum when I get an OPK like that I start testing twice a day definitely think you'll ovulate in a few days

Waiting2bMum · 18/01/2019 13:26

@me2shaw2lee message below sorry it didn't tag x

OP posts:
Waiting2bMum · 18/01/2019 13:25

Hi @TheatreMumma welcome☺️ooohhh that's interesting have you tried OPK or even a pregnancy test as may have been implantation? It was it a proper period? X
