@MrsP4 I'm sure I'm going to conceive in March - purely karma for the number of times I've complained about all the people in my family who have birthdays so close to Christmas and have said 'why can't people just keep their legs crossed in March?!' 😂🙈
Ugh yeah I can see that's too hard to temp with those working patterns. I tried OPKs this month but got too fed up with never seeing even a hint of a line. I also think having to reduce liquid intake to do them probably isn't that conducive to ttc 🙈

MrsP4 · 19/02/2019 14:50

Ahh that's good glad temping is working for you I tried it in Dec however I work shifts which is no good for BBT as sometimes I'm getting up at 3am and sometimes I'm getting in at 3am so my chart ends up being really erratic and inconsistent which is annoying I just use OPKS and use a couple of apps I also try and so SMEP most months but just no luck yet! DH seems to think we're going to conceive in March have no idea why but that's what he thinks! Then I'm thinking but then baby will be due in DEC and what if it comes on Xmas day! 😂😂🙈🙈

TheatreMumma · 19/02/2019 14:22

@MrsP4 I'll keep everything crossed for you and it's good that you've got something else to focus on either way. Do you chart bbt? I just started doing that and mine's a bit out this month due to 5 days of fever but it's definitely been the most enlightening out of everything I've tried so far. Hoping to use it to understand my cycles more as I'm quite irregular. AF due any time over the next 1-1.5 weeks now. Last month's chart showed a really obvious dip before af so at least it helps give me a bit of warning.

MrsP4 · 19/02/2019 13:00

@TheatreMumma I know it's so devastating! It's my birthday in just over a week and AF due 2 days before, would be the best birthday present getting a BFP either way me and DH are away that weekend so I feel like if it's another BFN I won't be so down about it because I'm away, when is everyone due AF?

TheatreMumma · 19/02/2019 11:01

Welcome back @Waiting2bMum! That sounds like a really healthy approach to just try and be relaxed about it. Easier said than done, but we all know there's nothing really we can do to speed things up / change things, other than dtd lots!

I'm so annoyed that my dtd every other day plan was scuppered by a horrible bout of flu this month. I'm somewhere in the tww (I think?!) but waiting for af really I think.

@MrsP4 I think the disappointment is crushing however many cycles you've gone through. There's only a 20% chance of success each month though, so sadly the odds are stacked against us! 😫

Did anyone else plan to skip March to avoid a Christmas baby and then think oh sod it? 😂🙈

MrsP4 · 19/02/2019 10:31

@Waiting2bMum I know and that's the annoying thing which makes it so hard, one of my best friends was on the same pill as me and she came off and was pregnant 3 months later so you can't help compare yourself thinking why hasn't it happened to me? Think I'm just going to book a holiday 😂 feel like I need it!

Waiting2bMum · 19/02/2019 10:23

@MrsP4 thank you☺️☺️sounds like your doing all the right things. Bodies are all so different and it's a big change for it. I wouldn't get dishearten yet as I didn't fall for the first one until 14months of trying. Be really chilled about it, I had to do that in the end as I was stressing so much xx
@Tryingforno2 aww I'm so glad all is well for you. It is such a worry though isn't it but you will be fine. Yes I agree with the early tests. I am greatful because otherwise I wouldn't of thought it was happening but this time round I won't be testing until I'm late now. This cycle I'm going to be really chilled not use any apps, OPK, or early testing. Thank you xx

@Waiting2bMum I've officially stopped peeing on sticks - I went to the doctors last week and she gave me a bit of a telling off saying that the way I'm doing things was completely unhealthy, she said I just need to relax and let me body do whatever it's going to do, there's nothing to be achieved by peeing on sticks and it's not going to change anything as it's really out of my control, I actually feel so silly now for testing so much.
She also said if this pregnancy isn't successful that in future wait until you are a week late before you test she said that up to 60% of pregnancies go undetected and people just start their period never knowing they were even pregnant, so testing early causes a huge amount of unnecessary heartache for so many women and these early detection tests are aimed at women who are desperate to be pregnant and the companies are exploiting that, all of what she said made so much sense!
I am 5+5 today and all being well am going to get booked in for an early scan, these early weeks are stressful but I'm just trying to go with the mentality of if it's meant to be it will be.
I am so sorry for what you are going through but I feel that it's really only a matter of time before you get your sticky bean it will happen for you soon I just know it XX

MrsP4 · 19/02/2019 10:12

Welcome back @Waiting2bMum I'm taking folic acid, COQ10 and vital DHA were DTD at all the right times too, DH has just got a referral to have a sperm analysis done, he went to the docs and said we've been trying for 12 months, They said I need to go for a blood test too but they will know I've not been trying for that amount of time as on the system it will show dates that I got my pill but we're going to wait and see what the sperm results are and then I'll go if they all come back fine, I'm just struggling with why nothings happening, I don't think it's anything with me as my periods are regular, I'm getting positive OPKS my minds baffled!

Waiting2bMum · 19/02/2019 09:27

Hellloooooo how is everyone?? I am officially back, I thought I was ready but I needed a few more days as was feeling so deflated after 3rd one😔😔

@MrsE95 so glad to have you back!! I am so sorry to hear that. And yes we really are cycle twins. It will be our turn next and all will be fine. Are you tracking ovulation this month? I don't think I will, I'm going to stop obsessing over it I think xxx
@Tryingforno2 how is everything going for you? Hope all is well. Have you stopped testing now? Xxx
@MrsP4 thank you for your message. I know exactly how you feel. Are you taking any vitamins?? Xx
@ChloePD hiya, welcome to the thread sorry I didn't greet you was going through a bad time. Fingers crossed for you. It may be a withdrawal bleed if you haven't long stopped the pill. Just give it a bit of time for your cycles to get back to normal xx

Good to have you back @MrsE95 keeping my fingers crossed for you this month 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 xxx

Tryingforno2 · 17/02/2019 08:37

@ChloePD that all sounds promising for a BFP if you ask me! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 x

ChloePD · 16/02/2019 20:00

@tryingforno2 thanks for the reply :) No AF since the light bleeding, I'm getting mild cramps in the mornings though and then nothing else. I have serious bloating too but this could just be signs of AF on her way- I'm in the whitsundays currently and so hoping she doesn't show for a couple of days!!
If nothing by the 20th I'll do an FRER, it's my 22nd on the 20th so hopefully I'll get something positive, not necessarily a positive result but at least I'll know where I stand so I can start preparing for my first proper cycle Smile

Tryingforno2 · 16/02/2019 18:57

@ChloePD ooooo you lucky thing I've always wanted to go to Australia!
It's hard to say re the pill really, if you have only been off the pill 2 weeks the 9th is pretty early to start testing as you probably wouldn't get a positive at that stage anyway,
Re the bleeding I am guessing you have figured that out by now? If it didn't last then possibly implantation x

MrsP4 · 15/02/2019 13:28

Hi girls, hope everyone is ok, sorry to see some sad news on this thread but sending you all lots of love, I'm currently on cycle 5 2DPO. Just feel like it's not happening I know 5 months is nothing to some but it doesn't get any easier each month just feel like you want it more than the last

MrsE95 · 15/02/2019 09:28

Good morning ladies! I am back. 🙈

@waiting2bmum I’m soooo sorry to hear of your loss it seems we really were cycle twins. I ended up in hospital and on the gynaecology ward and they confirmed I had very early miscarried also. 😞💔 ended up a bit poorly with it. 🙈

Very sorry I’ve been away but I needed time to just sit with the loss. But I’m back now and raring to go for the next cycle! 🤞💖

After catching up thank you so much for all your love and welcome to the new ladies and congrats to the new BFPs. 😁🎉💖

Tryingforno2 · 15/02/2019 07:27

Hi @Waiting2bMum it's good to have you back! I'm off to the doctors today as I'm now 5 weeks and still peeing on sticks like a crazy woman I tested this morning with FMU and it looks slightly lighter than the test I did 2 days ago which was done at 3pm in the afternoon, I'm going to ask for some blood tests but I fear that history may be repeating :-(

ChloePD · 14/02/2019 10:13

Hi everyone :)

Just after some advice, like I said in my previous post, I've been off the pill now for 2 weeks, didn't have a withdrawal bleed which is very unusual for me, I have been going to the toilet very often in the past few days and today I have had a small amount of bleeding, pinkish, nothing there when I wipe, and now a small amount again but brown- is this likely to be the start of my period? I've had mild cramping but this was about 2 days ago, period normally starts without any warning which is why I'm a bit confused! Last pregnancy test was done on the 9th (wasn't an early detection test) and was negative. Haven't done one again since.

Ps, sorry to late/early messages, I have just arrived in Australia for holiday :)

Waiting2bMum · 14/02/2019 09:33

Hi all, sorry I have been quiet had to step away for a while to come to terms with yet another loss😔😔thank you all for all of your kind words and supporting me. The next one is for me!! I'm more stronger and positive than ever. How is everyone?? Xx

@laurenomarixxo huge congrats!
@GrapesAndCheese just got my bfp for number 2 a few days ago, absolutely zero signs with number 1 and loads this time around x

TheatreMumma · 13/02/2019 20:14

*charting. God, if only I could chat away to my reproductive system 😂

TheatreMumma · 13/02/2019 20:12

We're trying for #2 too @GrapesAndCheese. Couldn't be more confused about whether or not I've hit the tww yet though as I've been chatting bbt, which was going fairly well until three days of fever messed it up completely 😬🙈

TheatreMumma · 13/02/2019 20:10

Aw congratulations @laurenomarixxo! That's fantastic! Yep, that's definitely a positive!! 😂

lizzie198 · 13/02/2019 16:30

@laurenomarixxo congratulations 🥳

meepmoop · 13/02/2019 16:04

@GrapesAndCheese I'm on second, I'm not sure if it's different as I've been overly analysing everything this time around but breast definitely were sore both times.

@laurenomarixxo congratulations!!!
