Hi lovelies
Started actively trying this month so thought it would be nice if anyone wanted a journey buddy.
I’m 35, DH is 42.
Had 2 pregnancies in past (2002,2011) ending in MC
Married now for 9years so yeah looking to start a lil family.
Currently 2dpo and wait is already horrendous and symptom spotting is in place 😂
So tell me all about you and your journey 💋

Has anyone experienced hot nipples ? One of my nipples feels hot to touch.

Explorers10 · 13/01/2019 18:39

@cosycashmere

Congratulations! Thats fantastic news! Thank you for getting back to me.

Yes you are so right, it gave me the belief that it will happen again and then when it didnt work first time, I wasn't prepared and was a shock. Silly I know. Your right, Early days and I will keep trying.

What does CD stand for? Sorry not clued up on the abbreviations

cosycashmere · 13/01/2019 18:20

@Explorers10 I actually got a positive yesterday, so surprised and realise how fortunate it is- hoping everything works out but also now aware how things can do easily go wrong.
Understand what you mean- I think being successful first time with your first almost gives you this belief that of course it could happen again even though you also don't expect it to? Objectively it's easy to say three cycles is still so early but I understand how the frustration can creep in. What CD are you on? I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you, and hope you get the rest you want really soon xx

Explorers10 · 13/01/2019 16:56

@cosycashmere

Will be intrigued how you get on. I was the same conceived my first on first cycle but now on 3rd cycle trying to conceive number 2. I think it's the shock of knowing it worked first try and then not working with number 2 & immediately thinking something must be wrong but I know it's normal to have a few months of trying

hopeful31 · 13/01/2019 16:26

@Lammoshay thanks. I know that they can be mild cramps but have u or anyone else experienced cramps that r more painful that just mild and perhaps be in with a chance of a bfp x

Lammoshay · 13/01/2019 15:38

Yes you can still have cramps hunni x

I tested yesterday. Bfn. I was due af yesterday and no sign yet although I am having lots of cramps on and off. I usually get mad headaches before af which I haven't had. Does any one know if u can get moderately painful cramps and still be in with a chance of a bfp?? I'm going to wait and test tomorrow again. My nipples r very sensitive too so I'm confused

Pika88 · 13/01/2019 14:25

@Kingsbury982 Oo lovely, a holiday should help you take your mind off things.
I'm sure it must be really difficult. As it's my first month ttc I know that my wait is nothing compared to many others who go through this every month, I guess its just a mixture of excitement that I could be and worried that I'll be disappointed that I won't be, its a tricky bunch of emotions to manage and patience is something I lack x

Lammoshay · 13/01/2019 14:18

AF is due in 3 days and I can feel the bitch is on her broom 🧹 making her way! 🥺
But all positive for next month hey ladies.
@kingsbury and @hopeful have you tested again yet?
X

@Kingsbury982 I def see a line! Fingers crossed over the next few days you get some good news! @Pika88 Every month so far I've convinced myself I'm pregnant, take about 10 tests and end up disappointed! It's a vicious cycle. I'm now trying to take my mind off it and just let it happen naturally. Not that it's easy what so ever. Booking a holiday for distraction. i even nearly convinced myself yesterday I was pregnant and literally just come off my period!

Lammoshay · 13/01/2019 01:12

@kingsbury I can deffo see a line on that test! Fingers crossed it shows again when you test over next few days x

Have u had many signs?

Pika88 · 12/01/2019 23:31

@hopeful31 Yea, it's so frustrating, I just want to know. Even though I knew when I tested it was very unlikely implantation could have happened yet I just couldn't help myself lol.
I'm clinging onto every little sign, an ache, a burp etc haha think I'm just setting myself up for disappointment this month.
I hope you get your bfp soon x

hopeful31 · 12/01/2019 21:43

Hi @Pika88
It's so hard. I've honestly done about 10 tests lol. It's like u can't settle with out trying.
I hope that u get ur bfp sooner rather than later x

Pika88 · 12/01/2019 20:19

Hi All,

I am only in my first month of TTC. I'm driving my boyfriend absolutely insane with my impatience so need some other ladies in the same situation to chat to, as I imagine I will just get worse every month.
I'm currently 6dpo (not testing ovulation so that's an estimate) got a long 8 days until AF due. I keep inventing symptoms and I have already wasted a test because I was so impatient lol x

hopeful31 · 12/01/2019 19:55

@Kingsbury982 I can see a slight line but I'm in no way an expert. Sorry.
Try again with a clear blue maybe? Good luck

Kingsbury982 · 12/01/2019 18:58

@hopeful31 I took the one in the pic yesterday evening after dinner. Then I took the 2 complete negatives with second morning urine. Can you see a second line in my picture?

hopeful31 · 12/01/2019 18:42

@Kingsbury982 did u do them all in the morning or at different times of the day?
It's such a nightmare.

Kingsbury982 · 12/01/2019 18:37

Hi ladies.. I took a test yesterday and thought I seen a line. Then retested today and got 2 definite negatives.. I'm 3 days late.. this TTC is a nightmare .. don't know what's going onx

Update:
Losing the will. AF due day. No sign, cramps. BFN.
Ahhhhhhhhhh it's torture every month

hopeful31 · 11/01/2019 17:10

I'm good just anxious @cosycashmere. I constantly think that I'm not then I think of the light bleed I had at the weekend. Which makes me think maybe lol. Yes I have some friends over tonight, then a full day of activities tomorrow to stay busy.
How is everyone else getting on? Xx

cosycashmere · 11/01/2019 15:31

@hopeful31 hope you're doing ok. Keeping my fingers crossed there's still a chance for your bfp this month! Have you got nice weekend plans to take your mind off it?

cosycashmere · 11/01/2019 08:55

Hi @MrsLKay sorry to hear you've not had any luck so far, hope the clinic are helpful and you can start making progress.
I think most people on this board seem to be fairly early on in ttc, but on the infertility forum there are lots of people who have been in your position and should hopefully be able to give you the information and support you need xx

mass22 · 11/01/2019 08:16

You never know @hopeful31 until Mother Nature calls! Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Thanks @Lammoshay you're right this is a process that we can't control and it's so hard.

@MrsLKay hi, sorry I have not done any testing but wish luck hoping it helps you.

@Viennawaits4you I'm mad at googling too and was also looking into cervical fluid. Once you start it's so hard as leads on to other topics about TTC. I'm now going to try and avoid google and just start back tracking my periods/ovulation on my flo app. It's so tempting all the time though!

hopeful31 · 11/01/2019 07:20

Good luck at the clinic @MrsLKay

AF due tomorrow. Did a test and it's still bfn. 😭😭😭
