New thread for July- Clomid takers, Clomid queries, Clomid successes.....

NOW, WHERE ARE YOU?

OP posts:
wizzywig · 10/07/2007 21:56

hey minxi, maybe your head will start spinning right off if you double your dosage of clomid after you take the month off!! have you had follicular tracking done?

minxi · 10/07/2007 21:33

wizzy welcome to you and good that you got pg on clomid - happy stories are always welcome and encouraging!
I am on cycle 4 and on 50mg cd25 today and despite temperature down yesterday has gone back up again today so who knows...if I don't fall this month going to give a month off as on holiday during ov time next and dh not with me - if af arrives this Friday will be cd10 - cd17 when away!! so will perhaps take August as a double dosage (poor dh will probably go crrrazy!) and then see the consultant in September again....is that bad or should I wait to do that ?

wizzywig · 10/07/2007 21:16

sorry i wrote that long essay and forgot to write that when i was first on clomid i was on 50mg for the 1st 3 mths and then 100mg for the next 2mths. on the month that i got pregnant i had follicular tracking which was really helpful as you can then see whats going on inside you. also i stopped with the temp charts and doing ovulation kits as they were both showing that i was ovulating when i wasnt really. i did accupunture for 4/5 months before clomid and that didnt work, hey ho!

wizzywig · 10/07/2007 21:13

hi all, hope you dont mind me joining, heres my story, i'll try hard to keep it short! im in my early 30s and i have a bootiful 6mth boy courtesy of 5 cycles of clomid which i took after 1.5yr ttc (i found that i dont ovulate). i did a day 21 progesterone test last month and the progesterone level was low low low (3) so looks like im not ovulating again.

im peed off as ive read on mumsnet so many times that people have fallen pregnant again very easily after having a clomid baby, but im not one of those people. so im back on the hair-raising ttc treadmill again. i had this horrible sinking feeling when i was told that my progesterone is low again as i really didnt want to have the same trouble getting pregnant again. but i guess no one wants to have trouble getting pregnant. anyway, ive been referred to my gynae again so soon enough i'll be back on clomid, YAY!!! it wasnt exactly a barrel of laughs being on clomid but its worth it when you get that positive result

minxi · 09/07/2007 20:39

floss - I'm sure its good news - definitely test soon.....

I am cd24 today and temp took a downward spiral which is usually a clear sign af on her way.. no other symptons except feel very emotional again although didn't feel like that last month...oh I don't know whatever happens will happen..

1wish how are you ??

Welcome - nomoremagnolia...good luck with starting the clomid....and hopefully you get pg very soon...

Hi ladies, can I come and join? Been prescribed clomid today for 6 months from next cycle. Currently on CD9, so a while before I start it, but thought I come and say hi and (hopefully) learn from your experience before I start. I look forward to getting to know you all. Hello 1wish, thanks for your advice on my other thread

MamaMaiasaura · 09/07/2007 11:24

1wish - dith the OPKs hun, really they cost so much and with PCOS they arent reliable xx

1Wish · 06/07/2007 15:25

Hi minxi cd17 here, still don't know if i've ov'd yet as no positive result on opk even though i've done about 20, no ov pain either.
I did have a little bit of ewcm on cd 15 (tmi)just a little blob (never had this before)but now nothing.

Do you think that might have been it and i ov'd on cd15?

minxi · 06/07/2007 14:35

girls cd21 day think 6 days post ov and had a dramatic temperature dip today ...was 36.94 yesterday and 36.55 today so am hoping it is implantation dip but can't be so stupid as to think excitedly!! Haven't even told dh and he has gone off on business now and not back for 8 days so maybe by the time he gets back will have good news or bad!

Floss - hope you okay roll on af so you get started again or you never know could have got lucky straight away
1wish...how are you getting on have you ovulated yet - where are you in cycle ?

Very funny story about legs in the air Awen...were staying with outlaws over Christmas and she was driving me nuts. Kept hoovering our room at 9am before we were vene up, so the next time I heard the hoover, I swivelled around on thebed and rested my legs against the wall up in the air. She barged in, took one look and legged it. I felt victorious all day!!!!

MamaMaiasaura · 04/07/2007 21:26

MamaMaiasaura · 04/07/2007 21:26

Rubbed little bum for you.

Forgot to say I would stick my legs in the air for ages after too

flosspot · 04/07/2007 18:02

Patmustard- thanks for giving hope and spreading the love.

Awen- great pics. Rub your tummy for me- if you have a word with bean, maybe she could send some luck my way?! Thanks for hugs.

No idea about CD, but coming up for four weeks since mc. Had lots of ewcm so booked DH in, BD ONCE, then he got mad busy at work and haven't seen him since, so have probably missed the window. Bugger.

Roll on next month....

Hello ladies,

I wasn't a mumsnetter when i pregnant, but just wanted to post a success story. I have PCOS, was prescribed Clomid, hated it, but conceived after 2 cycles. DD is now thriving.

I wish you all luck and look forward to reading your success stories soon .

MamaMaiasaura · 04/07/2007 11:51

Hi guys ((hugs Flosspot)) how are you?

Hi lulu - how are things going? xx

1wish - re the OPK's my consultant told me to keep away from OPKs, charting etc as with PCOS is not helpful. Through the OPK's away. I found that my CM was a clearer indicator if that helps at all, although wasnt CM watching. DP and I bd'd most days and sometimes every other.

Everything ok here. Am 14+3, uploaded my scan pics from last week. Nuchal Test etc came back with very good results too

flosspot · 03/07/2007 14:46

Wish I could say it gets better....

OP posts:
1Wish · 03/07/2007 13:43
